Famed drummer Travis Barker will take the stage to surprise concertgoers at tonight's FireAid concert to help raise money for victims of the L.A. wildfires ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to Blink 182 tell TMZ … in a surprise appearance, Travis will play drums during Jelly Roll's set at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.

We're told ... Blink was one of the first bands to volunteer to participate in the benefit concert, but the group had to pull out because of an issue with one of its members.

With only a day until the FireAid benefit concert, the star-studded showcase is getting a shakeup to its lineup ... Dave Matthews has announced his exit from the show.

The singer shared the update on the Dave Matthews Band's official Instagram page Wednesday, where DM confirmed he would no longer be participating in the concert benefiting Los Angeles wildfire victims Thursday ... as he had to deal with "a critical illness in the family."

The "Crash Into Me" singer made it clear he was disappointed to be missing the show ... and also revealed he was "unfortunately unable" to participate in the MusiCares Persons Of The Year event honoring The Grateful Dead, which is set to take place Friday at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Jelly Roll may sing the song "Save Me" ... but, Saturday night he's giving back to people who ran headlong into danger to save L.A. amid the recent devastating wildfires -- putting on a benefit concert for first responders and their families ... TMZ has learned.

Multiple sources tell us mass emails have already been sent to several SoCal fire departments and law enforcement agencies -- including the National Guard ... giving them until midnight tonight to request tickets for the once-in-a-lifetime show. To be clear: the show is only for first responders and their guests ... no general admission.

A source with direct knowledge tells TMZ ... the event is not a fundraiser ... Jelly Roll is putting on the concert out of the kindness of his heart to thank all the first responders who've worked tirelessly to battle the deadly wildfires.

The event just went live on Ticketmaster ... offering first responders in L.A. up to four tickets for themselves and friends or family to watch the artist, and his unnamed "friends," perform at the Rose Bowl on Feb 1.

The L.A. FireAid concert is getting massive contributions from the biggest names in the music industry ... but now the event is getting a financial boost from Clippers owner Steve Ballmer, who will match every donation during the event livestream!!

Event organizers made the announcement Tuesday morning ... saying the former Microsoft CEO -- who has a net worth of $129.4 billion -- and his wife, Connie, will help double the impact of the benefit.

This contribution is on top of the $15 million donation the couple pledged a few weeks ago to assist those impacted by the L.A. wildfires.

The actress cut a deal with an unnamed buyer for her 8,000-square-foot estate in a small, fancy enclave of Brentwood known as Mandeville Canyon, according to the Wall Street Journal. The pristine residence escaped unscathed from the recent L.A. wildfires, which impacted Brentwood, among other surrounding neighborhoods.

The Journal reports Gwyneth made the sale after she slashed the listing price from $29.99 million to $24.9 million last year, but she finalized the deal at $22 million.

It’s been nearly 3 weeks since the deadly Palisades and Eaton wildfires destroyed more than 16,000 structures in the Los Angeles area ... and we’re learning some iconic Hollywood filming locations no longer exist.

Photos and video show several historic spots now gone, consumed by blazes that have claimed the lives of 28 people since the fires began the first week of January.

Palisades Charter High School -- the campus featured in the MTV series “Teen Wolf,” the high-school party flick “Project X,” and the '70s horror movie classic “Carrie” -- sustained substantial damage.

The Blink-182 drummer joined us on "TMZ Live" Thursday and we asked him about this week's visit with a group of prisoners working 24-hour shifts as firefighters.

Travis was super inspired when he heard about the nonviolent security inmates battling the blazes for a dollar an hour ... and he wants to use his platform to give them the appreciation they deserve.
