Gladys Knight's son is worried her husband is going to push her so hard to keep working that it will kill her.

Shanga Hankerson told The Detroit News that William McDowell -- the R&B legend's husband and manager -- is working her too hard. The alarming comment comes after his mother announced last month she'd be cutting back on her live performances amid concerns from her fans and people on tour.

Gladys has played multiple shows recently, and her son says of her husband, "He never intended to stop any tour dates, as you can see for yourself."

Shanga then dropped the hammer ... "My belief and fear is that he intends to literally try to work her until she passes away. And you can quote me on that."

9:21 AM PT -- Macklemore has broken his silence after being dropped.

Macklemore is being sent home from Ed Sheeran's tour after catching major heat over his pro-Palestine onstage remarks ... and the show will go on without him.

Rolling Stone reports Macklemore has been dropped from the remaining tour dates ... after several venues allegedly told the tour they would not allow him to perform.

As TMZ previously reported, Macklemore caused a stir during Ed's MetLife Stadium stop earlier this month ... telling the crowd "Free Palestine" before performing his protest song "Hind's Hall."

Lil Tay apparently decided an NYFW booking was optional ... crashing the Creators Inc. runway and strutting like she belonged there.

TMZ obtained video of Tay hopping onto the catwalk during the show, working her way down the runway and soaking up the attention from the crowd.

She gets a decent amount of runway time too ... before security finally steps in, grabs her and escorts her off.

Creators Inc. CEO Andy Bachman tells TMZ ... he doesn't condone someone hijacking months of work ... though he admits Tay made quite an impression.

Bachman says ... "I don't condone spoiling months of preparation, but I'll admit that girl mogged the entire room. She should consider a catwalk, preferably with a booking next time."

Celine Dion’s back to headlining shows … a super emotional moment for the star, who broke down in tears during her performance.

The singer-songwriter took the stage in Nanterre, France, Saturday night -- the first show of her long-awaited residency.

Dolly Parton is getting one of the biggest honors possible in her home state ... Nashville International Airport is set to be renamed after the late music legend.

The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority voted Friday unanimously to begin the renaming process. Officials say the change could take at least a year to complete. Once finalized, Dolly would become the first woman to have her name on one of the 50 busiest airports in the United States.

The vote follows a petition started by Dolly fan Lydia Popovich, which collected more than 175K signatures after the singer’s death.

Pink is finally using her own words to share how she feels about the backlash she's received over seemingly calling out Macklemore's pro-Palestine speech.

The singer went on Instagram to share a lengthy post clarifying what she believes when it comes to Israel, Hamas and Palestine ... after reposting a call for the rapper to be removed from Ed Sheeran's tour and catching tons of heat.

Pink explained the repost she shared included "words I didn’t write, and I wouldn’t have chosen all of them."

She said she didn't like that people online were filling in the blanks behind the repost without knowing what she was thinking ... and now she's filling us all in.

Kodak Black has beaten the rap again ... this time, prosecutors decided NOT to charge him in a drug trafficking case ... one day after another criminal case was also dismissed in the Florida.

On Friday, prosecutors filed docs saying there was insufficient evidence to prove the rapper possessed contraband during a November 2025 police encounter in Orlando. According to an arrest warrant, police say they found a pink bag with MDMA and $37K, as well as "numerous documents" with the name Bill Kapri -- Kodak's legal name.

Cops say the bag looked like the same one that appeared in one of Kodak's Instagram posts. At the time, Kodak was not arrested, but, after further investigation, police busted him this past May and booked him for drug trafficking. Police say the MDMA they found in the bag weighed 25.34 grams -- well over the trafficking weight of 14 grams.

But now prosecutors say they will not be filing charges in the matter. 

Selena's brother wants his piece of the pie, and now he's suing his sister for more than $1 million to get what he claims is his fair share of their slain sibling's estate.

A.B. Quintanilla III slapped his sister Suzette with the lawsuit Thursday, claiming he entered into an agreement with other family members after Selena was shot to death in 1995 by Yolanda Saldívar.

In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, A.B. says the agreement was executed by Suzette, Selena's mom, Marcella Quintanilla, Selena's husband, Christopher Perez, and A.B. himself. He says he "is a party to and intended beneficiary of the Agreement."

ZZ Top drummer Frank Beard was remembered at a private funeral service in Texas ... with family, close friends, bandmates, and crew members gathering to honor the rock legend ... TMZ has learned.

A memorial flyer for the service, obtained by TMZ, says the funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at Forest Park Southwest. The invitation describes the event as a celebration of Frank's life.

We're told the service was intentionally intimate ... with only family, friends, his ZZ Top bandmates and members of the band's crew in attendance.

Ne-Yo’s team is firing back at the lawsuit over a canceled concert in Sri Lanka … denying a promoter’s claims that it shelled out $300K and got no show in return. 

A spokesperson for Ne-Yo tells TMZ, “The claims made by Brown Boy Presents are categorically fraudulent and misleading. Brown Boy Presents isn’t owed money by NE-YO—the promoter owes NE-YO answers regarding its misconduct.”

The rep added that the promoter was contractually obligated to pay Ne-Yo in full prior to the performance and cover roundtrip travel for the musician and his team.

Diddy scored a major win in his defamation case against lawyer Ariel Mitchell and her client Courtney Burgess, the man who claims he has video of Diddy sexually assaulting minors and celebs.

Mitchell tried to get Diddy's lawsuit tossed out, but the judge said not so fast ... and ruled that her arguments just weren't convincing enough to stop the case from moving forward.

In the order, dated Sept. 4, the judge specifically noted that Mitchell's allegations were not mere opinion or hyperbole, finding the statements that Diddy sexually assaulted people and secretly recorded sexual partners have "precise meanings that are readily understood."

Check it out ... the girl band posted a cryptic video Wednesday -- set on the same stairs from the "Wannabe" music video -- of a newspaper ad in "The Stage."

Kid Cudi says the First Amendment protects his decision to fire M.I.A. from his tour ... making the bombshell constitutional assertion in response to her recent legal filing.

Here's the deal ... M.I.A. filed a lawsuit against Kid Cudi -- claiming he unjustly fired her for making political comments during his tour despite her insisting he knew her politics when he brought her on board.

She also alleges she was fired to drum up publicity for the tour ... and claims Cudi caused her to miss out on a $2.8 million guarantee from Live Nation.

Kid Cudi's saying not so fast ... because the First Amendment protects his right to dictate the artistic and political content of his show and make casting decisions consistent with those decisions.

Macklemore is firing back at critics who slammed his "Free Palestine" message during Ed Sheeran's MetLife Stadium concert ... insisting his comments were not an attack on Jewish people.

The rapper addressed the controversy Monday after his opening performance at Sheeran's New Jersey shows sparked backlash and calls for him to be removed from the remainder of the tour.

Macklemore says his message was about supporting Palestinian freedom and opposing the suffering of civilians ... not criticizing Jewish people.

Pink is appearing to weigh in on the controversy surrounding Macklemore's appearance at Ed Sheeran's New Jersey concert.

The singer reposted an Instagram Story from StopAntisemitism this weekend, which blasted Macklemore's performance and called the situation downright "awful" in its caption.

Pink did not add any commentary of her own to the repost ... however, sharing the criticism to her account has amplified the push to have Macklemore removed from further touring with Sheeran.
