LAPD has come out officially to dispute TMZ's story -- that the body of Celeste Rivas was partially frozen when it was examined -- but one source has doubled down.

A source connected to the L.A. County Medical Examiner insists Celeste's body was partially frozen when it was discovered inside a car registered to singer D4vd. This is in square contradiction to what LAPD is saying on the record.

It's interesting ... in one document from the Medical Examiner, it reads, "The decedent was not live scanned due to waterlogged fingers." Translation ... the M.E. was unable to fingerprint Celeste's body.

Maria De La Rosa, a singer who went by the name DELAROSA, was fatally shot inside a parked car in Los Angeles ... and it sounds like the bullets pierced her abdomen.

TMZ obtained dispatch audio from early Saturday morning's fatal shooting in the San Fernando Valley ... and you hear the dispatcher say the victim is a Hispanic female in her 20s with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The dispatcher says the victim is in critical condition in the emergency room at Northridge Hospital Medical Center ... and there are friends standing by waiting for updates in the family room.

A woman in Thailand is raising eyebrows after apparently raising from the dead ... because moments before she was set to be cremated, she started stirring, undeniably alive.

The woman was brought into a temple to be cremated ... that's when staff heard her faintly knocking on the coffin walls.

Pairat Soodthoop, the temple’s general and financial affairs manager, told the Associated Press on Monday ... “I was a bit surprised, so I asked them to open the coffin, and everyone was startled. I saw her opening her eyes slightly and knocking on the side of the coffin. She must have been knocking for quite some time.”

An Italian man allegedly pulled a full-on "Mrs. Doubtfire" scam by dressing up as his dead mother to keep cashing her pension checks as her body sat in their house ... for years.

The unnamed 56-year-old man left the dead body of his 82-year-old mom -- Graziella Dall’Oglio -- to mummify as he pulled off the elaborate scam, according to Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The unemployed nurse transformed himself into his mother -- wearing a '70s-style blouse, makeup, clip-on earrings and all -- to dupe authorities into giving him his mother's pension check -- and even a brand-new updated I.D., the outlet reports.

11/25/25, 10:22 AM PT -- A family member tells TMZ Maria De La Rosa was the only victim struck by gunfire ... we're told Maria was sitting in the passenger seat of the car when the two assailants fired through the driver's side. The two other people in the car -- a male and a female -- were not hit, according to the family member. The family member said the two others were friends of Maria's.

A young woman who was shot dead in Northridge, Los Angeles has been identified as Maria De La Rosa, a singer who went by the name DELAROSA.

The 22-year-old Latin artist was struck by gunfire in what was described as an "ambush-style" killing and died later at the hospital, according to KTLA-TV.

LAPD officials told the outlet Monday ... witnesses saw two males run up to a parked vehicle and fired multiple rounds, hitting three people sitting in the car.

Jake Haro -- the man sentenced Monday to 25 years to life for murdering his 7-month-old son, Emmanuel -- just had his first state prison mug shot snapped, showing him looking as cold as the killer he is.

The 32-year-old is now locked up at California’s Wasco State Prison -- and he won’t see a parole board until December 2044.

Jake’s sentencing comes after he pled guilty to second-degree murder, child endangerment and filing a false police report.

Anna Kepner was murdered on a Carnival Cruise ship ... at least that's the conclusion reached on her death certificate.

The document, obtained by ABC News, says Anna died as a result of "mechanical asphyxia" on November 6, and it notes the 18-year-old "was mechanically asphyxiated by other person(s)."

As you know ... FBI agents found two bruises on the side of Anna's neck, and she was thought to have died from a "bar hold" -- an arm placed across the neck.

MMA Fighter Isaac Johnson has died after being injured during a match near Chicago Friday night.

NBC 5 Chicago reports Johnson collapsed after suffering an injury during his fight against Mario Aleksandrovski at Cicero Stadium.

An ambulance was called to the stadium at 8:38 PM local time to transport “an injured fighter” to the hospital ... and Johnson passed away a few hours later, just after midnight.

A Southwest Airlines passenger went off the rails ... screaming at staff and demanding firings after learning her flight was delayed and overbooked and it's all captured on video.

Tony Haase -- a 54-year-old man -- was acquitted on a pair of murder charges in August ... and his story was the subject of Friday night's episode of "Dateline" titled "Raising the Dead."

Here's the deal ... back in March 1992, Tanna Togstad, 23, and Timothy Mumbrue, 35, were found dead inside Togstad's farmhouse. Togstad suffered multiple stab wounds, while Mumbrue was killed by a single stab wound to the chest.
