Nolan Wells' cellphone tells a troubling story ... messages were allegedly deleted after he last used the device, and the records contain conversations about "sketchy" people on Horn Island.

Attorney Ben Crump and the family's digital-forensics team laid out the findings at a press conference Thursday ... saying Nolan last used his phone at 2:18 PM on the day he died ... and showing a map of GPS coordinates tracing Nolan's phone from the island to when his parents ultimately retrieved the phone.

Andrew Garrett -- the forensic examiner hired by Nolan's parents -- says messages were deleted between Nolan's last phone activity and the time his family regained access to the device. Garrett says his team cannot determine who deleted the messages or why.

Jim Copenhaver, who was severely wounded during the Trump assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania in 2024, is dead.

House Republicans announced Jim's death Thursday in a social media post ... "We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jim Copenhaver, who was gravely wounded in the horrific shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania."

Jim was one of two people injured when 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks opened fire at Donald Trump's July 13, 2024 campaign rally. He was hospitalized and discharged a week later. The cause of death is unclear.

Accused Lindsay Clancy copycat Corie Walsh pleaded not guilty to murdering her 2-year-old son ... and her husband was in court to show his support.

Walsh entered her plea during a preliminary hearing Thursday in Indiana, wearing her jail-issued clothes during a brief court appearance.

Her husband was spotted leaving the courthouse in a blue button-down, gray pants, and sneakers. He kept his hands in his pockets and didn't speak to photographers.

The mayor of St. Paul, Minnesota, allegedly branded herself a "MILF," made cracks about the size of her police chief's penis, framed doctored pics emphasizing his bulge, and twice put her hand high on his thigh ... and now he's suing her for sexual harassment.

Police Chief Axel Henry filed a lawsuit Wednesday against Mayor Kaohly Her and the city, accusing the mayor of sexual harassment, battery, and retaliation.

The "MILF" moment allegedly came at a February police academy graduation, when the mayor spotted an "MFF" ribbon on Henry's uniform -- short for Mobile Field Force.

She allegedly said ... "Oh, I thought it said MILF so maybe I could get one" ... but Henry apparently wasn't amused, giving her a hard pass and walking away.

President Trump apparently didn't get the memo ... CNN and POLITICO say their reporters are still being denied access to the White House despite a judge ordering the administration to restore access.

As you know, the judge threw his support behind CNN, POLITICO and MS NOW by ruling Thursday that their journalists should immediately have their press credentials returned so they could enter the White House and cover the commander-in-chief.

The ruling came in early Thursday, but when CNN and POLITICO reporters showed up to the White House to do their jobs, they reportedly were turned away.

Mary Peltola -- the Alaskan Democratic Senate nominee -- allegedly fired off numerous slurs and even shoved a staff member ... both while a sitting member of Congress and during her campaign.

The New York Times released a report on Wednesday ... detailing the numerous unsavory incidents several former staff members alleged ... including four people who said Peltola used the gay slur "f****t" in their presence ... a claim her campaign strongly denied.

In a text message she sent about a commercial fisheries executive who posted a selfie with her, Peltola wrote, "F*** that r****d" ... a word her campaign says she recognizes now is inappropriate and regrets using.

A 10-year-old boy and his fifth-grade teacher were found dead Wednesday during a frantic police search after they went missing and ultimately drowned in an Iowa reservoir during a school field trip.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement Wednesday night, announcing that its deputies and other law enforcement agencies discovered the bodies of Ahmed Osman, 10, and Hannah Jorgensen, 24, floating in the water at the Coralville Reservoir in Iowa City.

The Sheriff's Office called their deaths a "tragic accident" that occurred while the two were on a field trip with a bunch of fifth graders from Borlaug Elementary School at Lake MacBride State Park near the Coralville Reservoir.

Jeffrey Epstein's former attorney and accountant are under investigation ... and the FBI is leading the probe and seeking witness testimony against them.

Attorney Darren Indyke and accountant Richard Kahn -- who are the executors of Epstein's estate -- are the subject of the inquiry ... a law enforcement source told NBC News.

The source also told the publication that interviews with witnesses have been ongoing.

OpenAI's A.I. went off the rails in 4 new incidents in which its agents tried to hack into government agencies and universities ... and in at least one case, the technology succeeded.

The disturbing breach came after its agents were told to complete a simple data collection prompt ... the New York Times reported.

In May, the A.I. tried hacking into the University of New Mexico unsuccessfully.

President Trump rolled out the red carpet for Chinese leader Xi Jinping for his state visit to Washington D.C. — personally greeting Xi when he landed Wednesday night — but then things took a ROARING turn for the worse!

That's right ... Trump got the shock of his life, it seems, while the two presidents were standing on the tarmac at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland as the U.S. military conducted a VERY LOUD flyover.

A federal judge has just ruled in favor of the news outlets the Trump administration kicked out of the White House.

Judge Timothy J. Kelly backed CNN, MS NOW and Politico in their fight against the executive branch. According to a ruling filed early Thursday morning, Kelly ruled the reporters' press credentials were revoked without providing "constitutionally adequate due process."

Kelly stated in the filing ... "The 'general rule' is that 'individuals must receive notice and an opportunity to be heard before the Government deprives them' of a constitutionally protected interest."

He'd previously noted the White House didn't give the reporters kicked out due process before revoking their access to the building, which he said runs counter to precedent.

The filing states the "hard pass" press credentials held by employees of CNN, MS NOW, and POLITICO that were revoked shall be "immediately" returned, reinstated, and restored until further Order of the Court or the expiration of the Temporary Restraining Order -- which is set to remain in effect for 14 days.

Kyrsten Sinema’s alleged ex-boyfriend and former bodyguard Matthew Ammel is facing a felony charge after allegedly trashing her Arizona home ... causing more than $200,000 in damage.

According to court docs, Sinema told cops Ammel entered her Cave Creek home August 30 while she was out of town and demanded she post a video to X ... threatening to destroy one of her paintings every 10 minutes if she refused, AZFamily reports.

However, Sinema didn't post the video, and investigators say Ammel allegedly removed 22 paintings from the walls and threw them into her swimming pool. He allegedly also smashed expensive alcohol bottles and threw a glass bottle at a wall-mounted mirror, shattering it.

Billionaire Pittsburgh Steelers co-owner Robert Citrone is in the middle of a nasty court battle with his alleged baby mama ... and they're duking it out over money.

According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Amy Blunt, the alleged mother of Robert's 3-year-old disabled son, is working to get her hands on Robert's financial docs, including tax returns and income statements.

Amy claims Robert said because his income was so extraordinarily high, and "because he could afford whatever support amount the court could possibly award" production of his financial docs was not necessary.

Elizabeth Holmes is getting out of prison next year ... and she'll be transferring to a halfway house in Texas ... and she'll be close to lots of other tech titans.

The disgraced former Theranos CEO is being moved from the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, to a halfway house near Austin ... according to ABC News reporter Rebecca Jarvis -- who says Elizabeth's victims were just notified of her upcoming change of scenery.

However, there's a pretty big caveat ... the move isn't for about a year ... Elizabeth will officially be getting out of FPC Bryan on August 23, 2027 ... and the message sent to her victims is just advance notice.

A Florida mom charged with trying to kill her two adult sons with autism by overdosing them on drugs told cops she was trying to put them out of their misery and send them to heaven ... this according to her arrest warrant.

According to the documents, obtained by TMZ, 68-year-old Marilyn Therrell confessed to police that she administered significantly higher-than-prescribed doses of their medication because she wanted to free them of their "disabilities and suffering."

Cops say she told officers she ground up a bunch of Valium and Clonidine pills ... in hopes the drug cocktail would kill them all.
