10:02 AM PT -- The player who suffered the medical emergency was reportedly BJ Thompson -- a defensive end who Kansas City selected with a fifth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Thompson, 25, played in just one game in his rookie season, logging two tackles.

A Kansas City Chiefs player suffered a medical emergency on Thursday morning ... and now, the team's revealed it's canceled its planned practice in the wake of the scare.

The player has not yet been identified publicly by the organization -- nor has KC given an update on his status ... but, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, it was "a backup defensive lineman" who suffered a seizure in a special teams meeting.

Pelissero reported the athlete went into cardiac arrest ... but, thankfully, trainers raced to his aid, got him in an ambulance, and he's now currently in stable condition.

Drake might've lost the Kendrick Lamar beef, but the 6 God is looking to get back in the win column with his latest bets ... putting a combined $1 MILLION on the Dallas Mavericks and Edmonton Oilers to win it all this season!!

The musician took to Instagram early Thursday morning to show off his jaw-dropping receipts -- he unloaded 500k to win $1.375 million if Luka Dončić and Co. handle the Boston Celtics ... and another 500 stacks to earn $1.025 milli if the Oilers defeat the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final.

Drizzy explained his reasoning behind the bets ... saying, "Dallas cause I'm a Texan, Oilers are self explanatory."

Travis Kelce wants everyone to know he's still just a regular guy at heart ... despite being a three-time Super Bowl champ, podcasting juggernaut, up-and-coming actor, and boyfriend to the biggest musician on the planet.

The Kansas City Chiefs superstar opened up on just how awesome his life is during a sit-down with "Good Morning America" on Thursday ... and while he's becoming one of the most famous athletes around, he said he's not taking any of it for granted.

"I’m so fortunate, so grateful of everything that's come my way in life," the 34-year-old said.

Dirty feet are apparently commonplace in households with Kelces in them ... 'cause just days after Jason Kelce admitted he doesn't wash his feet, Travis Kelce revealed he, too, sometimes showers without soaping up his little piggies!!

The Kelce bros dove into the topic on Wednesday's episode of "New Heights" ... after Jason caused internet uproar earlier in the week when he posted on his X page that his bathing routine doesn't include scrubbing his tootsies.

Jason reiterated on the pod he thinks it's a complete waste of time ... telling Travis, "Who the f*** washes your legs or -- what kind of psychopath washes your feet?"

The home of the Indianapolis Colts has transformed into a massive swimming facility ahead of next week's Olympic team trials ... but Caeleb Dressel or Katie Ledecky weren't the first to break in the new tank -- it was none other than the NFL team's mascot, Blue!!

The beloved horse documented the christening on social media ... showing him prancing around with enthusiasm before jumping right into the newly built pool on Wednesday.

It's an exciting time in Indy -- the place that usually hosts Anthony Richardson and Co. has been going through quite the makeover for the past month ... with the stadium turning into the world's biggest swimming arena to host the trials on June 15-23.

A trio of "Jeopardy!" contestants clearly needed to brush up on their sports knowledge prior to appearing on the game show Tuesday night ... 'cause they missed on some serious softballs, including one that simply asked them to identify NBA superstar Russell Westbrook.

The category that the three hilariously botched was titled "21st CENTURY SPORTS" ... and it became very clear quickly why it was the last subject the contestants took on in the first round of the contest.

In one of the first clues, host Ken Jennings asked the three which MLB team won the 2008 World Series. It offered up hints that the squad featured superstars like Cole Hamels and Ryan Howard.

Houston Texans star wideout Tank Dell is opening up about the shooting that almost derailed his sophomore season in the NFL ... saying the incident was simply a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

As we previously reported, Dell was wounded after gunfire broke out at a Florida nightclub back in April ... which was sparked by a verbal altercation between a 16-year-old and another individual at the club.

Dell was hit during the incident ... and suffered minor injuries.

Jayla Allen -- the daughter of Dallas Cowboys legend Larry Allen -- said in a social media post Monday night she's stunned over her dad's death ... writing in an emotional message, "I feel like this is a nightmare and I can't [wake] up."

Larry -- a Pro Football Hall of Famer and one of the greatest interior offensive linemen the NFL's ever seen -- died on Sunday while on vacation in Mexico ... and his daughter seemed to indicate he had shown no signs of being in poor health prior to the tragedy.

Jayla said Larry's death left her "in complete shock," and now, she's not quite sure how she's going to pick up the pieces he left behind.

Former Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew spent part of his Sunday morning in jail ... after he punched and broke a glass door during a spat with authorities inside a Texas convenience store.

TMZ Sports has learned ... the incident happened at around 2 AM at a 7-Eleven in Dallas -- when police say Pettigrew became aggressive during an argument inside the shop.

It's unclear exactly what kicked off the tiff -- but in surveillance video, you can see after Pettigrew and several people exchanged words, the former ex-NFLer threw a right hook at the front door, causing it to break.

Emmitt Smith was devastated to learn of the passing of his former teammate Larry Allen on Monday ... saying in an emotional video he's at "a loss for words right now."

Smith, through tears, remembered Allen as a "good dude," a "great player," and a "super person" in a clip he posted to his Instagram page just minutes after the Dallas Cowboys revealed the former offensive lineman had died Sunday while on vacation in Mexico.

Smith played with Allen from 1994 to 2002 ... and while he said he hadn't been able to see much of the Hall of Famer following his retirement, he was still obviously shaken.

Dallas Cowboys legend Larry Allen -- arguably the best interior offensive lineman in NFL history -- has tragically died.

The team announced on Monday that Allen passed away on Sunday while on vacation with his family in Mexico. No further details surrounding his death were released.

"The Jones family and the Cowboys extend their deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers to the Allen family," the Cowboys said in a statement, "and grieve along with the many other friends and Cowboys teammates that also loved Larry."

Jefferson released a video addressing the monumental moment in his career ... captioning the post with a touching message for his fans.

Katy Perry knows how to switch things up ... she has turned Kansas City Chief's Kicker Harrison Butker into a butt-kicker in support of women's and LGBTQ+ rights!

Katy posted an extreme edit of Butker's Benedictine College commencement speech, where he essentially said a woman's place is in the home and the movement for LGBTQ+ rights was downright dangerous.

You gotta listen to Katy's version ... Harrison sounds like AOC!

Travis Kelce had an on-the-surface uncomfortable moment Saturday night when Jason Sudeikis pressed him on sealing the deal with Taylor Swift, but it was all planned out.

The 2 dudes, along with Robert Smigel and George Wendt performed a skit at the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City.

Sudeikis was in disguise -- fake mustache and sunglasses, so no one would know it was him, right -- was sitting at a table with the guys, as they asked Taylor's BF if she was gonna pay for a spanking new stadium. And then they went in for the kill!

Johnny Manziel apparently has a new gig as Josie Canseco's personal photographer ... and after seeing his most recent work, who the heck needs football anyway??

The 31-year-old Heisman Trophy winner and his Victoria's Secret model girlfriend, 27, shared some steamy snaps on social media on Friday ... showing them cozied up in bed as Josie posed for the camera in some Alo sweats.

Despite being decked out in comfy clothes, Josie wasn't really a fan of keeping them on ... 'cause she put a lot of skin on display -- including some major underboob at one point.
