Star Catcher - Camera Shy Lindsay Lohan

Published | Updated

It was another star-packed night at Hyde on Wednesday night, the popular Hollywood hotspot that attracts all of today's hottest celebs.

TMZ's Josh Levine was doing it big last night as he caught up with the very camera shy Lindsay Lohan. The red-headed hottie was seen sneaking out the back door of the trendy spot, getting into a silver Bentley- very similar to one owned by her feuding friend Paris Hilton, who is in London promoting her new album.

With big sister out of town, Nicky Hilton showed up with "Entourage" star and boyfriend Kevin Connolly. The two arrived in true celebrity fashion, setting autograph seekers and paparazzi into a frenzy.

Also on hand, former heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson, "CSI's" Adam Rodriguez, "Sin City" star Mickey Rourke and HBO's favorite agent Ari Gold, AKA Jeremy Piven.

Star Catcher LA Charlize Gets Romantic

Published | Updated

It was a star-studded night on Tuesday in LA as our cameras were outside Social Hollywood, a popular new hotspot amongst the stars.

Our cameras caught up with party hosts Charlize Theron and boyfriend Stuart Townsend as they were leaving the club. Surrounded by the usual paparazzi, the stunning actress dodged her way through the crowd making her way to her car and refusing to sign a single autograph. Once the couple was in their SUV they began to get intimate- holding each other and looking very happy.

Also on hand for the festivities Jamie Foxx, hip-hop star Eve, Chris Kattan, Christopher Knight and wife Adrienne Curry and departing from what is obviously not her car (a mid 90's Ford Explorer) ... Ivanka Trump. What next? Flying commercial?!?

All this and much more in this LA version of Star Catcher.

Taylor, Dude, You're the Dude

Published | Updated

Taylor Hicks (and many others) showed up to Social Hollywood in LA on Tuesday night but it was all about Hicks. It seemed as though he was approached by one aspiring business partner after another - all wanting their own personal "Idol."

The "American Idol" winner was seen by TMZ's Josh Levine leaving the the Hollywood hotspot surrounded by paparazzi and possible future hook-ups ... er, business colleagues. At one point it got so bad that he needed a police escort back into the club while waiting for his car.

Good for Taylor though ... it seems that the head of the Soul Patrol has a good handle on how to deal with the many clinger-ons that will hound him in Hollywood.

Paparazzi Gone Wild 2

Published

Britney Spears' Mom

Paparazzo Cullen Reavley is suing Britney Spears and her mom Lynne for allegedly running him over two years ago when they drove away from a pet store. Lynne was at the wheel when the incident occurred after the paparazzi swarmed their vehicle. Reavley claims he suffered injuries to the "head, neck, back, trunk and extremities, all of which have caused and continue to cause [him] great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering." Police reportedly determined driver Lynne did nothing wrong and she was not cited.

Jennifer Love Hewitt

Not all celebs detest the paparazzi. Jennifer Love Hewitt, in the throws of a shopping trip on L.A.'s trendy Robertson Blvd, came to the aid of a fallen photographer who took a nasty fall while in hot pursuit of the star. In lieu of a purple heart, the paparazzo got a hug from J.Love and her cautionary words -- "You have to be careful!"

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson played peacekeeper when her friends clashed with paparazzi outside a Hollywood hotspot. Simpson told her posse to "stop it" as they exchanged barbs with photogs who had gotten a little too close for comfort.

Bruce Willis

Sometimes celebs strike back - at least according to one paparazzo. Anthony Goodrich told TMZ that Bruce Willis allegedly smashed Goodrich's camera into his face as the action star entered a West Hollywood restaurant. Goodrich claimed the impact broke the skin on his nose and chipped a tooth.

Willis fired back by filing suit against Goodrich, claiming the "stalker-paparazzi" lied by telling TMZ that the actor assaulted him. The suit goes on to say that Goodrich's testimony to TMZ exposed Willis to "hatred, contempt, ridicule and obloquy..." Willis is seeking no less than $1million in damages.

The LAPD tells TMZ that two days after filing a police report, Goodrich "refused to prosecute so the case was closed."

Britney Gets Raves Over the Waves

Published | Updated

Britney Spears seems to be turning things around -- at least a bit.

This video was shot Thursday in New York City. Brit was securely holding baby Sean in her arms as she was flanked by some pretty burly bodyguards. Her new hair color is getting good reviews, at least on TMZ.

As she entered an office building in the East Village, her hair was pulled back. But when she left, she wore it down and it looked even better.

By the way, K-Fed was there as well, puttin' in the time.

Brangelina Paparazzo Arrested

Published | Updated

TMZ has learned that a paparazzo was arrested in Malibu Thursday after allegedly jumping the fence at a daycare center that Maddox was attending.

Sources tell us that Clint Brewer jumped the fence just before 10:30 a.m., shortly after Pitt dropped the child off. We're told staff from the daycare center made a citizen's arrest for trespassing. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department dispatched deputies and took Brewer, 25, to the Lost Hills station, where he is being held on $1,000 bail.

The famous family returned to Malibu two weeks ago from Namibia after the birth of the couple's daughter, Shiloh. Since then, the paparazzi has overtaken the area. When Angelina took the baby to a home in Beverly Hills recently, paparazzi were hanging in trees, trying to get a shot.

We're told 4-year-old Maddox Jolie-Pitt was never in danger.

Pitt's security chief, Rich Malchar, issued this statement: "School officials and myself feel that some of these paparazzi are like predators who will recklessly take and sell photos of innocent children for money."

UPDATE: Brewer was released from custody tonight. TMZ was there as the accused paparazzo walked out of the Lost Hills station. In a ironic twist, Brewer covered his face when he saw our camera and went back inside the sherrifs station to wait for his ride.

Random Night in LA

Published | Updated

It was a random night on Wednesday in Hollywood as our cameras were rolling at Hyde, a hotspot packed with young celebrities. A boxer, a rocker, two boy banders and a former reality TV star all showed up to the trendy joint to do a little unwinding.

Former heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson was on hand with his usual large entourage, showing up in a large black limo and not paying much attention to autograph seekers. At one point in the night Mike came out for some fresh air and it seems like The Champ had a case of the sneezes.

Former NSYNCers Lance Bass and Joey Fatone were also on hand as they stopped to pose for the cameras and sign a few autographs.

Also on hand GNRs Slash, Eliza Dushku, Reichen Lehmkuhl and the always beautiful Shannon Elizabeth.

K-Fed: Sorry Brit, I Gotta Party

Published | Updated

Britney Spears told "Dateline" she needs hubby Kevin Federline because she's an "emotional wreck," but from his cross-country antics it looks like all K-Fed wants right now is a good party.

Last week in Miami, Federline spent his days with Britney and Sean Preston, but come nightfall he hit the South Beach clubs alone.

Last night the budding rapper was out on the town once again, this time in NY, without his better half. TMZ caught Kevin hanging out, sans the very pregnant Britney, at a party hosted by Nicky Hilton in Manhattan.

While Federline is out promoting his new album- which drops in August- he might want to start paying more attention to Mommy Spears before he gets dropped.

Coast to Coast Star Catcher

TMZ was outside the fan-packed "Late Show" studio in NY to catch a couple of big stars.

Our cameras caught up with new "Superman Returns" star Brandon Routh as he entered the late-night show, while tons of fans screamed and begged for a glimpse or possibly an autograph.

Also on hand, "Just Married" star Brittany Murphy who was in New York to announce that she will be the voice of Tinkerbell for Disney's upcoming new animated flick "The Tinkerbell Movie," a first in the "Disney Fairies" line.

On the West Coast, our own Josh Levine was at Hollywood hotspot "Hyde" where he ran into No Doubt's bassist Tony Kanal, Lukas Haas and and blonde "Baywatch" babe Nicole Eggert.

All this and more in the coast to coast version of Star Catcher.

Dance Along With Paris

Published | Updated

In a scene reminiscent of K-Fed and the infamous PopoZao, Paris Hilton got in her car last night after leaving LA hotspot Hyde, and proceeded to jam to her own song.

Like the video, the heiress' dance moves are pretty much contained to her bouncing up and down and raising her hands in the air. While they may not be the most original moves, the fans and paparazzi ate it up.

Let's hope the dancing in her next video is better than her driving ability- check out how she drives away without her hands on the steering wheel.

Star Catcher - Coast to Coast

Published | Updated

It was a very busy night in LA and in NY and our cameras were there to catch it all.

In LA TMZ was at Shag, where our own Josh Levine caught up with Leonardo Dicaprio and Kevin Connolly who arrived and left the ever-so-popular hotspot together. The two were seen trying to sneak their way into the club, rushing past paparazzi and autograph seekers. Leo- the more camera shy of the two- must not have wanted to be seen... he held his jacket over his face on his way in and out of the club.

Also on hand, platinum-selling hip hop star Eve, Lukas Haas and mysterious magician Criss Angel.

In NY, we were at the "Devil Wears Prada" after-party were we ran into "Sex In the City" star Sarah Jessica Parker, Rosie Perez and "Entourage" star Adrian Grenier who had a very special date with him.

All this and much more in this coast to coast version of Star Catcher.

Kate and Len Click for the Cameras

Published | Updated

Actress Kate Beckinsale and her director husband Len Wiseman went out for a long day of lunching, shopping, and rather conspicuous hand-holding, arm-clutching, and, in one slightly awkward case, high-fiving.

The pair, accompanied on their jaunt around Los Angeles' Robertson Boulevard by a phalanx of photographers, ate at The Ivy then wandered into several area stores, including fashionista haven Lisa Kline and Italian furniture emporium Poliform, all the while dauntlessly disrupting onrushing traffic by strolling through the middle of streets.

Beckinsale and Wiseman have been the subject of recent tabloid speculation suggesting that their marriage has hit the skids, fueled by Wiseman's absence at the recent premiere of her upcoming movie "Click" and a report, subsequently denied, that the two were living in separate homes. The pair seemed, at least physically speaking, very much attached to one another, and Beckinsale responds to a cameraman's question about their looking happy by saying, with some iciness, "That's a surprise."

TMZ has compiled pictures of famous stars with their children and video of celebs discussing what they plan on doing with their pops.

Right/Wrong Way To Deal With Paparazzi

Published | Updated

Sarah Jessica Parker has become the latest celebrity to exchange words with the hounding paparazzi -- but this time, the pleas of a celebrity actually worked.

While walking with her son, James Wilkie, in New York on Tuesday, Parker, frankly yet politely, asked the surrounding photogs, "Could you please not take pictures of me and my child?" Remarkably, Parker's request was granted and the paparazzi, heads down, quietly walked away.

While SJP demonstrated a reserved way of getting the paparazzi to leave her alone, other celebs have chosen to use the more volatile Sean Penn method.
