Former President George W. Bush has released a statement honoring the life of his Vice President and friend, Dick Cheney.

George W. called the politician's passing "a loss to the nation and a sorrow to his friends."

He wrote, "History will remember him as among the finest public servants of his generation -- a patriot who brought integrity, high intelligence, and seriousness of purpose to every position he held."

President Donald Trump's on-again, off-again Taylor Swift fanboying seems to be currently on again, as the White House just used one of her songs in a TikTok video ... and Swifties are HATING it.

Check out the clip ... Over Taylor's lyric "Keep it one hundred on the land, the sea, the sky..." the White House shows pics of the different branches of the military. It also flashes shots of POTUS and Vice President JD Vance along with their wives, Melania Trump and Usha Vance, when the song gets to "Pledge allegiance to your hands, your team, your vibes."

It's unlikely Taylor gave permission. And the comments quickly got ugly.

Dick Cheney -- the 46th vice president who served alongside Republican President George W. Bush and an architect in America's ''War on Terror'' -- has died.

He died of complications from pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease, his family said in a statement.

Cheney grappled with ongoing cardiovascular problems for the majority of adulthood and underwent a heart transplant in 2012.

Over the weekend, Trump alleged "Islamic terrorists" were being allowed to kill Christians in Nigeria, and if this alleged practice continued, the U.S. could halt aid and storm into the West African country "guns-a-blazing."

In a Truth Social post, he wrote ... "I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet.”

Nancy Mace went off the rails at a South Carolina airport this week, launching into a foul-mouthed tirade against cops for what she claims was pure incompetence, according to a police report.

The fireworks began Thursday night at the Charleston International Airport, where cops said Mace was being chauffeured in a white BMW to catch a flight, but things soon took a wrong turn.

Police said 3 officers were waiting in the ticketing vestibule to escort Mace from the curb to her flight gate upon her arrival. While they waited, the officers were allegedly informed Mace was running 10 to 15 minutes late.
