Dylan Kosinski -- president of popular music auction site Gottahaverockandroll -- tells TMZ … Kurt’s smashed guitar sold for $101,500 to a Texas collector when the auction closed yesterday.

The piece of music memorabilia sparked a bidding war on the site ... with five people making a total of 11 bids before a winner was ultimately crowned.

One of the key suspects in the Kim Kardashian Paris robbery reportedly died suddenly just as the case against him was about to go to trial.

According to the Daily Mail, Marceau Baum-Gertner died on March 6 in Paris. His cause of death is not yet known.

Marceau was accused of working alongside the gang that held the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star at gunpoint in 2016.

Eleven people are dead and several others are injured after a car plowed into a group of people at a street festival in Canada over the weekend.

Police in Vancouver say the vehicle barreled straight into a large crowd at a street festival around 8 PM on Saturday.

According to cops, a 30-year-old suspect was taken into custody at the scene. Police say the incident is not an act of terrorism.

Jiggly Caliente -- a fan favorite on "RuPaul's Drag Race" and judge on "Drag Race Philippines" -- has died.

Caliente's -- real name Bianca Castro -- family confirmed the news in a post on her Instagram. She had reportedly been suffering from complications due to a severe infection. She underwent surgery and had her right leg amputated.

"Bianca passed away peacefully on April 27, 2025, at 4:42 am, surrounded by her loving family and close friends" ... the Instagram post read. "A luminous presence in the worlds of entertainment and advocacy, Jiggly Caliente was celebrated for her infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity."

President Donald Trump drew a a ton of eyes at Pope Francis' funeral Saturday ... and, not totally for the right reasons -- 'cause he wore a bright blue suit to the event, and it outraged a large section of social media.

As you know ... POTUS and First Lady Melania Trump were in Rome Saturday to pay their respects to the late head of the Catholic Church -- sitting front and center as he was laid to rest.

While the two were completely respectful during the proceedings, many online took issue with Trump's outfit ... 'cause he wore a blue suit -- not navy blue, but a color that stood out quite a bit more against the black outfits others in the crowd donned.

Virginia Giuffre was found dead by suicide on Friday -- years after she claimed she would never kill herself.

Giuffre -- who was an outspoken whistleblower who accused the late Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual abuse -- made the chilling claim in a resurfaced tweet from 2019.

She wrote ... "I am making it publicly known that in no way, shape or form am I suicidal. ... If something happens to me – in the sake of my family do not let this go away and help me to protect them. Too many evil people want to see me quieted [sic]."

Justin Bieber is mourning the loss of his maternal grandfather, Bruce Dale.

The pop singer honored Bruce Saturday morning on Instagram by sharing a photo of his young teenage self smiling at his grandfather while holding his head between his hands.

Eden Herlihy sat down with us for an interview all about Sophie -- who she met at a clinic in Utah called Elevations, which helps kids with anxiety, depression, bullying and other issues ... and, she says she was immediately struck by how kind and welcoming Sophie was.

Nyweide wasn't judgmental like other girls in the program, Eden explains ... and, she carried that through the rest of her life -- always trying to help those around her who were struggling with drugs, bullying, and other challenges.

Absolutely heartbreaking news -- Pittsburgh Steelers first-rounder Derrick Harmon's mother has passed away ... shortly after the former Oregon star visited her at the hospital to share the news he was selected with the 21st overall pick in the NFL draft.

Harmon's mom, Tiffany Saine, suffered a stroke when he was a freshman at Michigan State ... which left her paralyzed on the left side of her body.

Leading up to the draft, Harmon stated his mom underwent roughly eight brain surgeries during his childhood ... and her resilience was what inspires him to this day.

Margot Simond -- an 18-year-old skier -- died following a training accident at a ski resort, it was announced this week.

In a statement released by the French Ski Federation, the organization extended its condolences to Simond's family, saying the whole community is "deeply affected by Margot's passing."

The International Ski and Snowboard Federation described Simond as "a promising young athlete" in its statement and offered its full support to her family and loved ones in this incredibly difficult time."

Six police officers died in a plane crash in Thailand Friday -- and the harrowing incident was all caught on video.

Check it out ... the small plane is seen plunging out of the sky near the Thai beach town of Hua Hin, but as it nosedives into the ocean, the witness shuts off their camera, and we don't see the impact.

Other videos show first responders fishing a body out of the water, and aerial footage shot from another plane shows the wreckage in the water.

Chicago Bears legend Steve 'Mongo' McMichael is dead after a long battle with ALS.

The death comes just hours after McMichael's wife, Misty, said her husband would be moved to hospice, as his health declined while battling ALS.

He was diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disease in 2021 and became paralyzed from the shoulders down.

McMichael's friend, Jarrett Payton, made the sad announcement, saying ... "With deep sorrow, I share that Steve McMichael passed at 5:28 PM after a brave fight with #ALS, surrounded by loved ones. I’m grateful to have been with him in his final moments. Please keep Steve and his family your prayers."

Sophie Nyweide's death has another tragic element to it ... because it turns out she was pregnant at the time of her death.

According to the death certificate, obtained by TMZ, Nyweide was with child when she was pronounced dead just before 5 AM on April 14 in Bennington, Vermont.

An autopsy has been performed on Sophie's body ... but, as of now, an exact cause of death is still unknown. But, police are investigating the death as a possible unintentional overdose.
