Kevin Spacey's rescue dog -- named Boston in honor of the city after the Boston Marathon bombings in 2013 -- has died ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell us ... Boston, a mixed breed, passed away at a doggie daycare in Baltimore on Tuesday. We're told Boston was on set with Kevin overseas in April and May.

Boston had been Spacey's constant travel companion for years, but she recently got sick. We're told he wrestled with the idea of flying back to the States, but Boston's doctor urged him to act quickly to prevent more suffering, and Kevin didn't want her to wait until he arrived.

Mariah Carey's celebrating the upcoming release of her new album ... but she's opening about a tragic time in her life in a new interview, revealing there was a lot more going on behind the scenes of the recording than most of her fans knew.

In an interview with Gayle King on "CBS Mornings" Wednesday ... Mariah said the recording process for her upcoming album "Here For It All" was "extremely difficult," as she dealt with the deaths of her mother Patricia and sister Alison.

Mariah's mother and sister died on the same day back in August 2024 -- she was estranged from sister Alison -- and she went through deep emotions about the whole situation.

The body of the girl found in singer D4vd's car, Celeste Rivas, has been released to her family ... the Los Angeles County Coroner tells TMZ.

Celeste's family can now claim her remains.

Her death is under investigation after cops found her decomposing and chopped up body inside D4vd's Tesla, which was impounded in a Hollywood tow yard.

Celeste Rivas, the 15-year-old girl found dead in the trunk of singer D4vd's Tesla, ran away "multiple times" because of trouble at home ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

LAPD's Robbery Homicide Division has been tracking Celeste's history, and they are trying to piece together the story of her life, according to our sources.

We're told the Lake Elsinore family contacted Riverside County law enforcement at least twice to report Celeste missing.

Utah Valley University has formed the UVU Memorial Committee to create a monument for Charlie Kirk following his assassination on their campus Sept. 10.

The university announced the development Monday, noting ... "We will listen to community voices and carefully consider the many perspectives surrounding this memorial."

The committee will be co-chaired by Scott M. Smith, UVU Board of Trustees chair, and Amanda Covington, Utah Board of Higher Education chair, and "include students and political leaders among other key stakeholders," the university said.

Check out a comment left under D4vd's February 25, 2024 TikTok post -- it's a person who claims they're waiting for the LAPD to "get" the musician "for messing with a 13-year-old girl."

The Los Angeles Police Department has been investigating Celeste's death -- and even searched the home D4vd has been renting for 12 hours last week -- but have not named him as a suspect in the case.

Thousands of people from across the country came together to honor the slain Charlie Kirk ... with President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance among the guest speakers remembering Charlie.

Turning Point USA -- the conservative nonprofit organization founded by Kirk in 2012 -- hosted a memorial service Sunday in Arizona ... more than a week after the commentator was shot to death in a shocking instance of political violence.

The memorial being held to honor Charlie Kirk is being treated like a Super Bowl level occasion and is categorized as a SEAR Level 1 event -- which means it's given the highest level of national security priority.

A DHS Senior Official tells TMZ, "The Department of Homeland Security has designated the upcoming funeral and memorial service as a Special Event Assessment Rating (SEAR) Level 1 event. This designation is reserved for events of the highest national significance and enables the federal government to provide the full range of law enforcement and security resources necessary to support local officials in ensuring a safe and successful event."
