A rookie deckhand on a fishing vessel featured in "Deadliest Catch" is dead ... and it happened at sea.

Todd Meadows died Wednesday aboard the Aleutian Lady on the Bering Sea ... according to a Facebook post from "Deadliest Catch" star Captain Rick Shelford.

Our sources say the deckhand died in a fishing-related incident during filming, though it's unclear if the cameras caught the incident on tape.

Bo Gritz, a Vietnam War hero who inspired Sylvester Stallone's character John Rambo in "First Blood," is dead.

Bo died Friday at his home in Sandy Valley, Nevada ... according to his wife. His official cause of death is unclear, but Bo's wife documented his health issues online, saying he had been battling cancer.

A highly decorated war veteran who earned the rank of lieutenant colonel, Bo ran for president in 1992 ... and he was famously involved in the 1992 Ruby Ridge standoff, when he reportedly managed to convince anti-government extremist Randy Weaver into surrendering to federal agents in Idaho following an 11-day siege that killed Weaver's wife and child.

Catherine O'Hara Gone, Not Forgotten ... Wins Actors Award

Catherine O'Hara's acting colleagues have honored her with one last trophy ... awarding her a posthumous Actors Award.

The actress was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her part as Patty Leigh in "The Studio" ... and, she won it at Sunday night's ceremony.

When her name was announced, the audience jumped to its feet in rapturous applause ... and, Seth Rogen -- who won his own Actors Award for "The Studio" -- headed to the stage to accept the trophy on O'Hara's behalf.

Martin Short Doesn't Attend Actors Awards After Daughter's Death

Martin Short had a difficult last week ... and decided it was best if he didn't attend the Actors Awards Sunday.

The veteran actor was up for the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series -- an award he won last year -- for "Only Murders in the Building ... but, he was the only one of the five nominees not at the ceremony in Los Angeles.

Seth Rogen ended up taking the trophy anyway ... but, it seems clear Martin skipped the ceremony because his daughter, Katherine, passed away last week.

1:11 PM PT -- The NYPD tells TMZ ... cops responded to the 911 call just after 5 PM on Thursday -- and found King unconscious. He was unresponsive, and EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is looking into his cause of death.

Eugene Thomas King Jr. -- the convicted bank robber who held a gun to Paula Deen's temple in 1987 -- has been found dead in New York City ... TMZ has learned.

Family sources tell TMZ ... King was found dead Thursday inside his Brooklyn apartment. It's currently unclear what caused his death.

Wu-Tang Clan cofounder Oliver "Power" Grant died after a "courageous" battle with pancreatic cancer ... his family said on Saturday.

In a joint statement given to Rolling Stone, Grant's family and his rap group revealed his illness -- telling the outlet he was a "true fighter until the end."

Oliver will be remembered as a "global architect of culture" whose legacy will continue on forever.

Check out the "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" star's latest IG post -- she shared a throwback picture with her son and remixed cover of Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" playing over it. She remembered him with a touching caption that reads ... "#godfirst #love #forever #❤️ I'm Going to miss you bubs❤️🙏😢."

Up-and-coming rapper Luci4 was found dead in an L.A. residence on Sunday ... and now we're learning more about his movements hours prior to his death.

We broke the news ... the rapper -- best known for his viral hit "BodyPartz" -- was found dead at a friend's house at the age of 23. His cause of death has yet to be determined ... and his family wants answers.

The father of Luci4 -- born James Dear IV -- tells TMZ ... last Saturday, his son was running late to catch a 10:52 PM flight to Miami for a concert.

There was a pre-boarding issue with TSA … and James got super upset, which is when his father says LAX Police got involved -- and he was detained.

Singer-Songwriter Neil Sedaka Dead at 86

Legendary singer-songwriter Neil Sedaka -- who gained worldwide fame in the 1960s -- has died at age 86 ... TMZ has learned.

We learned earlier today, Neil wasn't feeling well Friday morning and was taken in an ambulance to a hospital.

Sedaka's family tells TMZ ... "Our family is devastated by the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Neil Sedaka. A true rock and roll legend, an inspiration to millions, but most importantly, at least to those of us who were lucky enough to know him, an incredible human being who will be deeply missed."

Robert Carradine Cause of Death Released

Robert Carradine's death has been officially ruled a suicide, and he took his own life by hanging ... according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

The actor's manner of death is listed as suicide and the cause of death is sequelae of anoxic brain injury and hanging. In other words, he died from a lack of oxygen to the brain. Page Six was first to report the details.

We learned earlier today Robert died in a hospital in L.A. ... and these details arrive just days after his family announced his death by suicide Monday. They revealed he'd been battling bipolar depression for decades prior to his death.

Lil Jon's Son Nathan Cause of Death Revealed

Lil Jon's son's cause of death has been revealed as an accidental drowning.

Georgia's Fulton County Medical Examiner determined Nathan Smith -- whose stage name was DJ Young Slade -- died from "drowning in the setting of psilocybin use," the medical examiner's office told TMZ. The manner was ruled as an accident.

Psilocybin is a hallucinogenic compound found in mushrooms, and the autopsy found it in Smith's blood.

Actor Robert Carradine Died In L.A. Hospital

Here's what happened ... at the end of Thursday night's episode, the ABC hospital drama aired a 60-second reel of montage images harkening back to Dane as the hunky character, Dr. Mark "McSteamy" Sloan. "McSteamy" was a fan fave for 7 seasons as he navigated through the pitfalls of his complex relationships and high-pressure medical job.    

Accompanying the montage clip was a soundtrack of a cover song, "Chasing Cars," by Tommee Profitt and Fleurie, which, you may recall, was also part of a montage commemorating the show broadcasting its 400th episode in 2022.

Mary Cosby Moving Forward With 'RHOSLC' Filming After Son's Death

Mary Cosby is planning to move forward with the upcoming season of "The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City" ... despite the sudden death of her son ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to production tell TMZ ... while some assumed Mary might step away when cameras go up for Season 7 after losing her son, Robert Cosby Jr., that's not the case as of now. We're told the decision to continue filming is entirely hers.

We're told Mary sees returning to work as a way to maintain some structure during an incredibly painful time as she leans heavily on her faith and inner circle. Our sources say Mary will participate in filming at whatever pace she feels is right ... and there's zero pressure.

'The Wire' Star Bobby J. Brown Dead at 62

Bobby J. Brown -- who played Officer Bobby Brown on the hit HBO series "The Wire" -- has died after being caught in a barn fire, TMZ has learned.

Brown's daughter tells TMZ her father died Tuesday of smoke inhalation, so they believe he did not suffer from the severe burns he incurred from the terrible blaze.

The Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed to TMZ ... Brown's cause of death was ruled diffuse thermal injury and smoke inhalation. We're told the manner of death was determined to be an accident.
