Katy Perry's "Lifetimes" tour has officially blasted off, and it’s nothing short of intergalactic -- 'cause she was straight back at it in Mexico City after her controversial all-female trip to space.

The singer was clearly orbiting the cosmic theme as she shut down Arena CDMX on Wednesday, even getting up close and personal with sky-high, ahem, *die-hard* fans who showed up in full NASA gear to back their girl.

Katy's stage was straight outta the future -- complete with space-age vibes and plenty of air time, thanks to those harnesses that had her literally floating through her set.

Another airplane flight, another scare -- this time with fire and thick smoke pouring out of a plane engine ... thankfully, while still on the tarmac.

The whole thing was caught on camera by stunned onlookers -- Delta Flight 1213, set to take off from Orlando International Airport en route to Atlanta Monday morning, went up in flames, with video showing an engine fire blazing.

Passengers were spotted sliding down the inflatable slides to safety as fire rescue crews rushed in to douse the fire.

Haley Joel Osment revealed his plans to go up to Mammoth Lakes, California for a much-needed vacation days before he was arrested earlier this month ... telling Andy Richter he wanted to give his loving sister a break from him and his dogs.

Here's the deal ... Osment chatted with Richter on his podcast "The Three Questions with Andy Richter" -- and, the two discussed Haley's house burning down in the Eaton Fire during L.A.'s January wildfires.

The episode was published April 15, but it was recorded days before Osment was arrested -- and used a slur for a Jewish person -- in Mammoth on April 8 ... 'cause he actually says he's going up to the area with his dogs in the coming days.

The chopper used in the ill-fated New York City tour that crashed into the Hudson River on Thursday was once featured in a safety video for the tour company ... and it's now quite unsettling to watch.

The eerie video is on the company’s homepage ... under a section titled "Why Choose Us" where its purported safety record is touted while showing the ill-fated chopper being inspected, according to FOX News.

As TMZ reported ... the Bell 206L-4 LongRanger IV came apart midair and plummeted into the water, killing all aboard -- the same make and model that was seen crashing into the water from multiple angles.

The pilot of the helicopter that went down in New York City's Hudson River Thursday was a former Navy SEAL who dreamed of flying ... so says his wife, about 24 hours after the crash.

Kathryn Johnson confirmed to Gothamist that her husband, Seankese Johnson -- who went by Sean -- was flying the Bell 206 helicopter when its rotor blades flew off, and it spun out of the sky ... crashing into the water below and killing all six people aboard.

Sean had recently moved to New York City to continue his pilot career ... and, Kathryn says she's at a loss for words about the crash -- adding it's a very difficult time for her.

8:43 AM PT -- A FAA spokesperson tells TMZ ... A Cessna 310 crashed around 10:20 a.m. local time on Friday, April 11, after departing from Boca Raton Airport in Florida. Three people were on board. The plane was headed to Tallahassee International Airport. The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate. The NTSB will lead the investigation and provide any updates.

A small plane crashed into a car in Florida, sparking an inferno ... and the fiery aftermath is all on video.

Authorities tell TMZ ... a single-engine plane crashed into a car at 10:12 AM ET Friday in Boca Raton.

The crash happened near a busy intersection along Interstate 95... close to Boca Raton Airport, about 50 miles north of Miami.

The helicopter that crashed into the Hudson River was literally falling apart in mid-air ... with a new angle of the incident showing multiple mechanical pieces flying off the chopper into the river.

Watch the clip -- recorded by CCTV cameras -- of the Thursday afternoon crash ... the helicopter is flying along when what appear to be huge pieces of machinery, probably the rotor blades, come off, plummeting toward the Hudson and causing the helicopter to fall like a stone from the sky.

While the majority of the helicopter causes a huge splash, the other pieces cause smaller disturbances in the water -- though, these pieces of the helicopter must have been quite large to cause such splashes.

The helicopter that crashed into the Hudson River Thursday afternoon -- killing all six passengers -- was en route to its base to refuel, the tour company's CEO revealed.

New York Helicopter Tour CEO Michael Roth told the Telegraph the pilot, whose identity remains unknown, confirmed they were heading back to base for gas, adding ... "It should have taken him about three minutes to arrive, but 20 minutes later, he didn’t arrive."

The chopper plummeted into the Hudson just off Jersey City, N.J. at 3:15 PM local time. Though a rescue mission commenced immediately, no survivors were pulled from the craft.

A helicopter plummeted from the skies above New York City on Thursday, crashing into the Hudson River -- and the terrifying incident was caught on video.

Multiple people have been killed, according to various local reports. Several shocked eyewitnesses recorded the chopper on video -- a portion of it can be seen at the surface of the water .... while the rest appeared to be submerged.

According to police, the helicopter came down near Pier 40 at Hudson River Park, but closer to the New Jersey side of the river, shortly after 3 PM local time.

A trans military helicopter pilot says she's the victim of a right-wing defamatory attack by a popular social media influencer ... just minutes after a Black Hawk helicopter crashed into an American Airlines jet ... killing all 67 people on board both aircrafts.

Jo Ellis is a Black Hawk helicopter pilot with the Virginia Army National Guard claims in a new lawsuit, she was smeared as the pilot involved in the tragic crash. Ellis says Matt Wallace, an influencer with 2.3 million followers, posted her picture and claimed she was the pilot of the doomed Black Hawk, alleging it was a "trans terror attack."

Wallace claimed Ellis intentionally crashed the chopper into the jet due to her "depression" and "Gender Dysphoria."

1:51 PM PT -- The resort is now saying the initial report of high levels of carbon monoxide in the Gardners's room was inaccurate ... as that was only the case in the "mechanical room" that is not available to guests.

"The levels in the hotel room were non-existent and non-lethal," the resort said in a statement to TMZ Sports.

The Costa Rican hotel where Brett Gardner's family vacationed is taking precautions amid the investigation into Miller's death ... with officials telling TMZ Sports it has blocked off their room from the public as officials look into whether carbon monoxide played a factor in the tragedy.

Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) director Rándall Zúñiga revealed in a press conference that high levels of carbon monoxide were detected in the Arenas Del Mar Beachfront & Rainforest resort room the Gardners reserved during their trip ... and noted a "specialized machine room" was located next to their reserved space, which could have led to contamination.

The resort tells us it will continue to cooperate with the investigation ... but "out of an abundance of caution, the room in question has been blocked until further notice."
