Dave Chappelle returned to host "Saturday Night Live" this week, delivering a monologue tackling everything from Diddy’s legal troubles to his message to President-elect Donald Trump.

The comedian pulled no punches on the show this week first addressing the ongoing legal drama surrounding Sean "Diddy" Combs. Chappelle noted he's never seen anything quite like what Diddy is currently going through saying, "I’ve been in a lot of trouble in my day, but this guy Puffy --  buddy, this guy is in an enormous amount of trouble. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like this."

Chappelle’s poked fun at himself, recalling how friends of his have questioned his absence from Diddy’s infamous "freak-off" parties with Chapelle saying, "I thought about it for a minute and I said, oh my God -- I’m ugly. That was a tough way to find out. Can you imagine reading the newspaper and finding out everyone in Hollywood had an orgy behind your back? None of y’all called me?"

The 'Real Time' host delivered a scathing review of City and State politicians whom he says share the blame. Starting at the top, B.M. scoffs at Governor Gavin Newsom, who said local officials are trying to figure out why there was no water in many of the hydrants, and why 300 hydrants were out of service and not repaired. As Bill puts it, maybe they all should have figured that out before L.A. burned.

And don't get him started on the argument people make ... well, do you want your taxes raised? Maher notes he and others pay the State of Cali 13% of their income, so start re-prioritizing what's being spent.

Wendy Williams sounds like the same person she was 10 years ago and is not showing a hint of disability ... so says TMZ Executive Producer Harvey Levin, who just spent 90 minutes with her on the phone.

Harvey's shocked the person he spoke with is under a guardianship that has stripped her of her personal and financial freedom. She was lucid, articulate, opinionated and with it ... a far cry from the picture being painted by her guardianship's attorney, who says she is permanently disabled with frontal lobe dementia.

Wendy showed no lapse in judgment, no hesitation at all. Charlamagne Tha God was on the call as well, and Harvey co-signs on his assessment that Wendy is a far cry from disabled.

Kenny Law, best known for starring on Discovery's "Moonshiners," has died ... TMZ has learned.

Kenny's cousin Henry Law tells TMZ … the third-generation, Virginia-based distiller passed away in a local hospital Tuesday after battling a myriad of health issues the last several years.

As Henry puts it ... Kenny was dealing with heart trouble for some time, and had a heart attack back in 2024. He also struggled with diabetes, which was a constant factor in his ongoing health struggles.

David Lynch -- the legendary of "Twin Peaks" has died ... TMZ has confirmed.

A family member tells TMZ ... Lynch passed away Wednesday at his daughter's house -- where he was staying during the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles.

While we don't know the cause of death yet, Lynch revealed just last year that he was diagnosed with emphysema after years of smoking and likely wouldn't be able to direct anymore or even leave his house.
