Andy Cohen is speaking out about the recent decision to reboot “Vanderpump Rules” with an all-new cast for season 12.

The Bravo honcho addressed the news on his SiriusXM radio show on Monday saying he feels it was the right decision to shake up the cast with all new faces. He admitted the series veered away from its original premise of following the staff who work at Lisa Vanderpump’s West Hollywood restaurant, SUR.

He says the entire point of the show morphed and changed as it went on, and it wound up James Kennedy was the only OG cast member who still had ties to SUR because he still occasionally DJ's there. "Now he’s gone on and he’s got a residency in Vegas, and he’s having great success, and they’re all having good success outside of SUR," AC said.

Tom Sandoval says he's blown away by his experiences with "Vanderpump Rules" ... after producers made it clear there's no place for him or any other OG castmate on the season 12 reboot.

Tom, who's been a fixture on the show for 11 years, shared a montage of photos and video clips from his time on the reality show on his Instagram Saturday.

In the caption, Tom reflected on his journey on the series in which he shared, "Where do I begin… I’m overwhelmed with so many emotions right now… The unbelievable series of events that brought this group together still blows my mind to this day."

If Ariana Madix is bummed about being axed from “Vanderpump Rules" ... it sure didn't show as she slayed Thursday morning during the 2024 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

As you know, the ratings have been sagging, but the show did have a resurgence after the whole cheating scandal with Tom Sandoval, Ariana Madix and Rachel Leviss. The show got super popular after that, but it's time for some fresh faces and bodies that will actually work at Sur.

Pour one out for the OG stars of "Vanderpump Rules" ... Bravo just announced they're rebooting the entire cast for season 12 of the reality show.

The network tells TMZ ... Lisa Vanderpump will be back for the new season, but will be surrounded by a new group of staffers who work at her West Hollywood hot spot, SUR.

Season 12 returns to the show's original formula, which takes viewers back inside LVP's many restaurants -- where several hookups, feuds and drama are known to unfold.

Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval are serving up a sad update to fans ... their cocktail lounge, Schwartz & Sandy's, is shuttering its doors after 2 years of business.

The "Vanderpump Rules" stars announced the disappointing news on their respective Instagram accounts Monday, confirming the business will be closed for good by the end of the year.

Schwartz, who said he was "sad as hell" by the news, confirmed the decision came after "careful consideration" and that it was "not an easy conclusion." However, the Bravo personality chose to keep things positive in his farewell note, sharing he and Sandoval plan to host a myriad of events in their final days at their bar ... hoping to celebrate everyone who has helped make their dream a reality.

Jax Taylor's keeping quiet about the fender-bender he got into Wednesday ... refusing to answer questions about it while out in Los Angeles -- before quickly scootering away.

The reality TV star walked out of a store Thursday ... and, a waiting paparazzo asked him about how he was doing in the aftermath of his car accident.

Jax's staying radio silent on the other end of the question ... hopping on a motorized scooter and taking off while mumbling under his breath. You can listen for yourself -- but, all he's really saying is that he ain't talking about the incident.

Jax Taylor hit a car in Los Angeles traffic yesterday ... admitting he got into a fender-bender and left the scene after supposedly seeing no damage to the vehicle or injuries to the people in the car.

Here's the deal ... a woman named Michelle West posted to Nextdoor Thursday morning claiming her boyfriend was stopped at a red light in Valley Village -- a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley of L.A. -- when a vehicle ran into the back of his car.

West says her BF chased the vehicle driven by "The Valley" star to a nearby gas station ... where a paparazzo took photos and video of a man who appears to be Jax chatting with another person in the aftermath of the accident.

Jax Taylor is hitting back at estranged wife Brittany Cartwright's assertion he hasn't changed ... accusing "The Valley" star of being a hypocrite, since she allegedly still asks him to "hook up."

The "Vanderpump Rules" alum stopped by Bravo's "Hot Mic Podcast" Thursday, where he addressed Brittany's scathing assessment of his time in treatment -- and how their relationship has continued to crumble after the fact.

Jax says his ex is not being entirely honest about their dynamic, claiming she often asks him over for dinner or drinks after trashing him in the press.

Tom Sandoval is raising a glass to his rekindled friendship with former "Vanderpump Rules" costar Jax Taylor ... and what it may mean for his future.

We caught up with the Bravo personality outside SUR, where he said he wasn't surprised that he and Jax found a way back to friendship ... even after the latter was vocal about TS' cheating scandal last year.

However, as Jax recently revealed, Tom made an active effort to reach out to him during his stay in a mental health facility.
