Chris Brown and Drake SUE EACH OTHER Over Nightclub Brawl

Chris Brown and Drake are going after each other in court over their gargantuan brawl last June at W.i.P. nightclub in New York City ... TMZ has learned.

A guy named Romain Julien -- a French model -- filed suit against Brown, Drake and the club for the injuries he claims he suffered during the bottle-throwing fight.

Now both Drake and Brown have filed legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- in which they point the guilty finger at each other. It's a little technical, but each is asking the judge to pin the blame on the other.

Drake and Brown each claim they were not responsible for the fight and want the other to pay any damages in the event the model wins his suit.

It's the first time Brown and Drake -- both of whom have been linked to Rihanna -- have gone after each other in court.

Frank Ocean I Was Called a 'F**got' During Chris Brown Brawl

Frank Ocean told police he was called a "f**got" during his brawl with Chris Brown ... moments before Brown threatened to shoot him -- this according to the official incident report obtained by TMZ.

According to the report, Ocean told police, Brown had punched him in the face after Ocean told Brown he had taken Ocean's parking space at the recording studio where the fight took place last week.

Ocean told police Brown tried to shake his hand, but Ocean refused, telling Brown he was in his parking spot. Ocean claimed that's when Brown punched him in the face. According to the report, Ocean said two of Brown's goons then jumped in to help Brown ... pushed him into a corner and attempted to kick him.

Ocean -- who revealed last year that he'd once had a romantic relationship with a man -- also said he believes he heard someone yell "f**got!" but he's unsure who made the statement.

Cops also say Ocean told them that Brown threatened to shoot him, saying, "We can bust on you too!" Ocean told police the whole fight lasted about two or three minutes.

According to the report, Ocean suffered a cut to his right index finger and a cut on his left temple. He refused medical treatment on the scene but was later taken to a hospital.

You'll recall, Frank wrote on his blog that he didn't want to press charges against Brown for the fight -- but according to the report, Frank told police in private he wanted to see Brown in jail.

Tony Parker to Court I Told You Chris Brown Was a Violent Thug

Chris Brown's volcanic temper -- in particular his recent blowup with Frank Ocean -- has ironically become NBA star Tony Parker's secret weapon in a lawsuit against a New York City nightclub ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ broke the story ... Parker has filed a $20 million lawsuit against W.i.P. nightclub, claiming it should never have let Brown in last June -- the night his posse fought with Drake's people ... a fight that ended with a shard of glass piercing Tony's cornea.

Tony has just filed new legal docs in his lawsuit, claiming Chris Brown's parking-spot fiasco last week with Frank Ocean is proof he's unfit to socialize in places where he's likely to fly off the handle.

You'll recall ... the fight between team Brown and team Drake at W.i.P. erupted because both men were romantically linked to Rihanna.

And speaking of Rihanna ... Tony's new legal docs make reference to her brutal beating ... at the hands of one Chris Brown.

Tony believes there was more than enough evidence on the table to deny Chris a table at W.i.P. on the violent night in question.

Frank Ocean's Music Producer Chris Brown Tried to Beat the 'Living S**T' Outta Frank

Chris Brown and his hired muscle tried to "beat the living s**t" out of Frank Ocean during their infamous brawl ... this according to Frank's music producer who says he saw the whole thing go down.

Michael Uzowuru -- who produces tracks with Frank and Odd Future -- says he was with Ocean the night of the fight. Uzowuru detailed his version of events in a blog posted early Sunday morning.

Uzowuru says the whole thing did indeed start over a parking spot. He says that he, Frank and a guy named Chito arrived at Westlake Studios that night to record, when they saw an orange Lambo parked in the spot labeled "Frank."

Uzowuru says they told the front desk to move the car and were informed it belonged to Chris Brown. He says Chris Brown came out 10 minutes later with a "big dude" and a "skinnier dude" -- and when Frank told CB, "You parked in my spot, move" ... that's when it all went downhill.

Uzowuru says the big dude suddenly punched Chito in the face for NO REASON, adding ... "Then instantly Chris and the other dude grab [Frank] and try to jump him." He adds, "There's no doubt in my mind the whole thing was a set up."

Uzowuru goes on to say the big dude continued to pound on Chito, while Chris and his other lackey tackled Frank and sent him crashing into a "big fake candle display laced with glass," adding, "Hence ... his finger being cut."

Uzowuru claims CB's buddy cornered Frank and pinned him up against a wall "while Chris was trying to beat the living "s**t" out of [him]." He says Frank fought back -- throwing elbows and punches of his own.

Uzowuru says the events get hazy, but remembers screaming for everyone to stop -- and they did.

Uzowuru ended his post by saying, "I don't know what type of demons Chris is facing, but I hope he clears them all and finds a new life rooted in love and light."

Frank said yesterday, he will NOT be pressing charges.

Frank Ocean NOT Pressing Charges Against Chris Brown

Frank Ocean says he WILL NOT press charges against Chris Brown after last week's parking lot brawl.

Frank wrote a post on his Tumblr page to explain his decision, saying, "As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man. But as a man I am not a killer."

He continued, "I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace.”

As TMZ first reported, Frank and CB got into a physical altercation last week outside a recording studio in L.A -- allegedly over a highly coveted parking spot.

You'll recall ... a witness on scene said CB threw the first punch and according to cops Chris was named as a suspect in the battery case. Sources close to Chris remained adamant Frank came at him.

Chris Brown Gets Cast In Frank Ocean Fight Drama

Chris Brown may have some explaining to do ... for a guy who says he didn't do anything wrong in the brawl with Frank Ocean ... why is his punching hand in a cast?

Chris emerged from his house Tuesday in a hard cast over his right hand, covering his knuckles.

As we previously reported, Ocean claims his hand was also injured in the brawl at the famous Westlake Recording Studio in West Hollywood Sunday night -- the same place where Michael Jackson peacefully recorded "Bad."

Although we know Chris' version of events is that he did NOT throw the first punch, an eyewitness who spoke with TMZ says he initiated the attack with a swing.

It's worth noting ... no one has signed Chris' cast.

Chris Brown I Want to Talk to Cops About Frank Ocean Fight

Chris Brown swears he didn't start Sunday night's violent brawl with Frank Ocean ... and he's champing at the bit to tell cops what went down in the recording studio parking lot ...TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Chris' lawyer, Mark Geragos, has already contacted detectives and said the singer is ready, willing and able to give them the blow-by-blow, because he knows he did nothing wrong.

What's more ... sources say Geragos' team has surveillance video of the last part of the fight, and Chris is as clean as a whistle -- not throwing a single punch.

But here's the thing. We're told the video also clears Frank Ocean -- he never takes a swing at anyone. The fighting is between the two posses.

The video, however, is not the be-all and end-all, because it only captured the back end of the fight. The altercation began in the parking lot and no cameras were trained on the action. So it doesn't show who started it. The fight moved into the lobby, and that's where the camera captured the brawl.

Chris' account is radically different from a witness who claims Chris threw the first punch.

As for why Chris booked it before cops arrived, we're told Geragos gave him the strictest of instructions ... if he ever got in a situation where trouble was brewing, he MUST leave immediately.

Chris Brown Fight Witness Says CB Swung First

Chris Brown threw the first punch in his brawl with Frank Ocean ... after Frank disrespected the singer in front of his boys ... an eyewitness tells TMZ.

According to someone who was on scene, Chris lost his cool in the parking lot of the famous Westlake Recording Studios in L.A. Sunday when Frank refused to shake his hand.

We're told Frank simply laughed at the gesture ... and Chris was so pissed he coldcocked Ocean and started an all-out war. As we first reported, Chris denies being the aggressor.

The fight quickly moved to the lobby of the studio ... and sources say the brawling posses demolished the place --"They managed to break almost everything in the room and scare all of the staff members working" says the witness.

We're told the receptionist called 911 ... and Chris booked it. As TMZ first reported, Frank stuck around for the cops ... and griped about how he felt "blindsided" by Chris.

One last thing -- we're told the parking situation at the recording studio is a serious hierarchy -- with the bigger artists taking the better spots ... and it's been that way for years. We're told Chris clearly felt he deserved the top spot ... and Frank disrespected him by taking it for himself.

Chris Brown & Frank Ocean HUGE FIGHT At Recording Studio

UPDATE: 5:20 AM PT: After the incident, Ocean tweeted "got jumped by chris and a couple guys. lol. i only wish everest [his dog] was there. cut my finger now I can't play w two hands at the grammys."

UPDATE 3:00 AM PT:
Cops say they will continue to investigate and want to speak with Chris Brown. They refer to Ocean as "the victim" because he's the one who stuck around and spoke with police. Ocean said the fight started over a parking space (how L.A.) and Brown punched him. There were 6 people involved in the fight.

UPDATE 10:45 PM PT:
Police have cleared the scene. We're told Chris Brown was not there when officers arrived -- but they did speak to Frank Ocean. At this point ... we're told no one wants to press charges, and no arrests have been made.

Chris Brown was involved in an all-out brawl with Frank Ocean Sunday night, and sources connected with Chris insist Ocean started it.

Chris was at Westlake Studio in the L.A. area listening to one of the artists he represents. The sources say as Chris went to leave, Frank Ocean and his crew blocked Chris from leaving. The sources say Frank said, "This is my studio, this is my parking spot."

We're told Chris went to shake Frank's hand ... and that's when one of Frank's people attacked Chris. Sources connected with Chris say one of Chris' friends jumped in front and hit Frank's friend.

Sources connected with Chris say Frank then came at Chris ... Chris pushed him away and they started brawling.

The police were called and are on scene now.

Below is a photo of Chris Brown in the studio. It appears the photo was taken before the fight ... but uploaded to CB's Instagram account AFTER the skirmish.

Drake Don't Blame Me for Your Club's CRAPPY Rep!

Just because Drake was present during a bloody nightclub brawl in NYC ... does NOT mean he should be blamed for the backlash of bad press directed at the club next door ... this according to new legal docs.

As TMZ previously reported ... Drake was sued by Entertainment Enterprises for $16 million. EE claimed its rep took a HUGE dive after that crazy fight (which also involved Chris Brown) at W.i.P nightclub back in June.

FYI -- EE does NOT own W.i.P, but has a HUGE financial stake in another nightclub (called Greenhouse) located in the same building ... and says it lost millions due to the bad press.

Now Drake is firing back ... arguing he CAN'T be held responsible for how the media portrayed either club in the news -- and claims Greenhouse's rep was in the toilet looooooong before he set foot through the door.

Specifically, the rapper says the NY Times has described the club as having "a history of violence and other problems."

Not only that, he says the club was almost shut down back in 2011 by the NYPD ... and had its liquor license previously suspended due to "a string of violent incidents."

Drake is asking a judge to dismiss the case.

Chris Brown & Drake Off Scot-Free After Nightclub Brawl

Chris Brown and Drake will NOT face criminal charges stemming from their alleged involvement in a massive nightclub brawl this summer in NYC -- law enforcement sources tell TMZ, there just isn't enough evidence to move forward with the case.

According to law enforcement sources, the investigation into the bottle-smashing brawl at WIP nightclub on June 14th has been concluded and no criminal charges will be filed against Chris, Drake, or any member of their entourages.

There will be no further investigation.

Sources close to the investigation tell us, the surveillance video in the club was useless because it was so dark and blurry -- and the interviews that were conducted by the NYPD were inconclusive.

As we reported, Chris suffered injuries to his face from a flying bottle during the insanity -- a bottle that was allegedly hurled from Drake's table. Several other people were bloodied up in subsequent projectile bottle attacks, including bodyguards and random clubgoers.

NBA star Tony Parker has sued the club over the incident, claiming his eye was injured as a result of the brawl. He's asking for $20 million in damages.

We contacted Drake's lawyer Blair Berk who told us, "Drake was never even a suspect so it's no surprise."

Tony Parker Lawsuit Nightclub Fires Back ... We Can't Predict BRAWLS!

Tony Parker is insane to think the people at W.i.P. nightclub should've known about the "bad blood" between Chris Brown and Drake BEFORE their infamous brawl ... this according to new legal docs filed by the club.

Parker had sued the club for $20 mil ... claiming it should pay for the damage he sustained when he took a shard of glass to the eye in the bottle-throwing melee back in June.

In his lawsuit, Parker claimed W.i.P. should have been aware of the "bad blood" between the two stars ... and never should have let them inside the establishment on that fateful night.

But now the nightclub is firing back, claiming Parker's got it all wrong ... because it's not the club's job to keep tabs on its patrons' personal lives -- so it can't be held responsible for not knowing about the beef.

Parker also claims the nightclub supplied booze to extremely intoxicated patrons, which helped fuel the brawl that led to the basketball player's injuries -- but the club says Parker's got no case ... so he can pound sand.

W.i.P. wants the lawsuit dismissed in its entirety. A judge has yet to rule.

Chris Brown Nightclub Brawl Lawsuit is a Bunch of Crap

Chris Brown is calling B.S. on the people suing him for allegedly instigating the bottle-throwing bloodfest at W.i.P. nightclub in NYC.

As we previously reported ... both Drake and Brown have been sued by a company affiliated with the venue ... who claim the celebs ordered their goons to go to war because of their beef over Rihanna.

TMZ spoke with a rep for Brown ... who spoke with Mark Geragos (Chris Brown’s lawyer) ... who says, "It's a frivolous lawsuit."

Side note -- we've spoken with people directly involved with the situation who tell us neither Drake nor Chris laid a hand on each other during the melee.

Chris Brown, Drake Sued in Nightclub Brawl You Guys Started It

Chris Brown and Drake are now a team -- both are defendants in a lawsuit just filed by people connected to the nightclub which was the site of the June 14th, bottle throwing, bloody brawl.

Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., which has a financial stake in the NYC venue where the brawl went down, claims in the suit that both stars "shared a grudge against the other arising out of their romantic relationships with the same woman." In case you were vacationing under a rock ... it's Rihanna.

EEL claims in the suit -- obtained by the New York Post -- when Drake and Brown crossed paths, they "began to fight violently with each other."

The suit goes on ... "Each arrived with his own small army of bodyguards, 'security' personnel, employees, friends and other members of their entourage consisting of at least 15 heavily built men trained and/or experienced in hand-to-hand and weapons combat."

The lawsuit says both Drake and Chris each ordered their goons to take care of business.

The suit also credits the crews of both Drake and Chris with ingenuity, claiming they "fashioned deadly weapons out of whatever materials they could find, including glasses, alcohol bottles and furniture."

The suit asks for $16 million in damages.

12:25 PM PT -- Sources involved in the situation tell us ... neither Chris nor Drake laid a hand on each other during the brawl.

Tony Parker Beer (Bottle) Goggles

Tony Parker is still feeling the impact of the glass bottle that hit him in the eye during the Chris Brown vs. Drake nightclub brawl ... 'cause a month later, he's wearing protective goggles to keep the injury from getting worse.

Parker -- who says he was merely an innocent bystander in club W.i.P. on June 14 -- was all Kareem'd out during an Olympic warm-up game with the French national team yesterday.

Tony recently underwent surgery to repair his left eye after a shard of glass penetrated "99 percent" of his eyeball during the melee.

Parker said the whole thing was simply a case of wrong place, wrong time ... and insists his NBA career is not in jeopardy.

Chris Brown vs. Drake Brawl Victims Sue Club -- We're BADLY Injured

Two women who claim they were injured in the Chris Brown vs. Drake brawl have sued the nightclub ... insisting it wouldn't have happened if the club hadn't been over-serving people who were already trashed.

In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ ... Lucy Pavlovsky and Nadia Beddini claim they each suffered permanent injuries in the bottle-smashing fight inside W.i.P nightclub in NYC on June 14.

Both women claim they suffered damage to their face, head, neck, body and extremities.

TMZ obtained photos of Lucy, taken the day after the brawl -- which show lacerations to her arm that required stitches.

In the suit, both women point the finger at the people who ran the club ... claiming the bottle-throwers were "sold and consumed alcohol in excessive amounts" ... even after they appeared wasted.

In the suit, filed in state court in New York by attorney Javier Solano, the women also claim the club failed to properly train its bouncers to handle a violent situation.

The women are also suing the bottle-throwers -- but since their identities are still unknown, they've listed the culprits as John Does 1 through 5.

The women are suing for unspecified damages.

Neither Chris Brown nor Drake are personally named in the suit.

A rep for the club tells TMZ, "We work hard to provide a safe environment. If an accident or injury occurs we try to respond appropriately. We will review the claims in this lawsuit and address them in court."
