2/22/2017 12:55 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

0221-ezekiel-elliott-alvarez-GETTY-01We now know why Ezekiel Elliott was in the middle of a police incident at an Ohio bar over the weekend ... his "best friend" was getting arrested for a bringing a loaded gun to the place.

TMZ Sports posted video of Ezekiel speaking with cops in front of the Park Street Patio Bar on Friday night ... and while he was NOT detained, arrested or accused of any wrongdoing -- it's clear he was very interested in the investigation.

Now, we know the person who was arrested that night is Alvarez Jackson ... who's been described as Zeke's "best friend" in a 2015 Sports Illustrated article. He's also a regular on EE's Instagram feed.

According to the police report obtained by TMZ Sports, Jackson was being patted down by security on his way into the bar when they found a loaded Glock 9mm handgun inside of a purse-like bag around his neck.

Security took the gun -- but Alvarez allegedly ran upstairs into the bar. Officials say he was tracked down and arrested.

Law enforcement sources tell us Alvarez tried to name-drop Ezekiel during the incident -- claiming he's the NFL star's "brother."

We previously spoke with Ezekiel's rep who says the Cowboys RB did provide information to police but was NEVER accused of any wrongdoing.

Jackson has been charged with felony illegal gun possession in a liquor establishment and faces up to 5 years in prison. He's due in court later Wednesday.

Vince Young DWI Video Frustrated, Uncooperative 'Are We Going to Jail or Not?'

2/16/2017 3:00 PM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Vince Young straight threw in the towel during his '16 drunk driving arrest -- refusing to complete field sobriety tests after getting frustrated with the cop ... and ultimately saying, "Are we going to jail or not?"

TMZ Sports obtained the arrest video from January 24, 2016 which shows Young being pulled over in Austin, Texas, after the officer says he was driving erratically in his white truck.

Young starts off being nice and cooperative ... but gets increasingly frustrated with the DWI investigation process.

He refuses to get out of his car until the officer orders him out.

He gets sick of the eye test and tells the officer he won't comply.

At one point he says, "What's the problem? Are we going to jail or not?"

Officials later determined Young's blood alcohol content was THREE TIMES the legal limit. He cut a plea deal and was sentenced to 18 months probation.

Roman Polanski Wants Back in U.S. To Settle Child Rape Case

2/16/2017 1:00 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

1212-roman-polanski-gettyRoman Polanski will make a move next week to return to the U.S. and end his child rape case for good, without serving additional jail time.

Polanski's famed lawyer, Harland Braun, has asked an L.A. County Superior Court judge to unseal a long-secret transcript of the testimony of the prosecutor in the Polanski case.

Braun believes the secret testimony supports Polanski's claim that he cut a deal to serve only 48 days behind bars for raping a 13-year-old girl in 1977, and the judge signed off.

Polanski actually spent 42 days in Chino State Prison and was released. But Judge Laurence Rittenband allegedly reneged on the deal and told prosecutors he decided Polanski should spend up to 50 years in prison. That's when Polanski fled the U.S. for Europe.

Polanski spent another 334 days in custody in Switzerland, while authorities tried to extradite him back to the U.S. A Polish court ruled Polanski has served his time under the plea deal, and now Braun wants the L.A. judge to honor that ruling.

We're told Braun wants to clear the way for the 83-year-old famed director and husband of Manson murder victim, Sharon Tate, to come to L.A. and resolve the matter, so he will no longer be a fugitive. He wants to freely travel in Europe and visit Tate's gravesite at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City. He has not been able to visit his daughter in London, either.

As for the victim ... she's now in her 50s and has asked the courts to close the case without imposing more jail time.

0127_Roshaun-Bernard-Jones_mug-2

A professional MMA fighter -- who fought in a Bellator event in 2015 -- was arrested Friday for allegedly killing two people in what cops believe was a robbery gone bad.

The suspect is Roshaun Jones -- a 5'8" 135 pound fighter from Oklahoma who racked up a 2-6 record as a pro.

He last fought in Kansas back in November and lost in a 1st round armbar.

But officials believe he's not just a bad fighter, but a bad person -- who shot two people to death in an armed robbery at a laundromat in Oklahoma on Monday. One of the victims was a female laundromat employee. Officials say the other victim was a male customer who tried to stop the robbery.

Officials launched a manhunt with help from the U.S. Marshal service and he was arrested today on two counts of 1st degree murder.

Jones is now behind bars in Oklahoma -- where the death penalty could be in play if he's convicted.

Shia LaBeouf Arrest 'He Will Not Divide Us' Exhibit/Protest Will Continue

1/26/2017 1:14 PM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Shia LaBeouf's arrest and heated exchanges with protesters aren't scaring off the museum hosting his web cam ... but it has a warning for the actor.

A rep for The Museum of the Moving Image says they consider the protest site more of an art exhibit -- and they expect people who show up there to act with common decency and respect, and that means not assaulting visitors. That goes for Shia, too. We're told the museum will continue to monitor the live stream.

As we reported, NYPD cops busted Shia early Thursday morning after he allegedly got physical and scratched a guy in the face.

The museum's sticking to the plan to run the live stream through President Trump's term.
