Nikolas Cruz Gun Shop Getting Blasted Online ... Gets Help from Yelp

2/16/2018 12:44 PM PST
EXCLUSIVE

The Florida gun store that sold Nikolas Cruz the weapon he used to kill 17 people is getting attacked online by people blaming them for the massacre, and it's gotten so bad ... Yelp's offering the business some protection.

Sunrise Tactical Supply sold Cruz the AR-15 a year ago. Although cops say the sale was completely legal, the backlash against Sunrise has been swift and severe on its Yelp page. Some commenters call the company "merchants of death," and say it's "complicit" in the Florida shooting because they sold the rifle to an 18-year-old "with mental problems."

Not shockingly, they're also getting a wave of 1-star reviews.

A Yelp rep tells TMZ ... they've now placed an active cleanup alert on Sunrise's page to remind users that comments not based on firsthand experience will be removed. We're told the goal is to "shield businesses from online harassment" as a result of media attention.

Doug Rudman, the attorney for Sunrise Tactical's owners, tells us the ATF has exonerated his clients and made it clear they the sale to Cruz was completely on the up-and-up. Until further notice, however, it is reported that the shop is closed indefinitely.

Blac Youngsta Lil Pump is Getting Done Dirty ... 'F*** tha Police!!!'

2/16/2018 7:50 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Lil Pump and his mother are getting a raw deal from law enforcement ... according to his homie, Blac Youngsta, who has some choice words for cops. Three to be exact.

We got Youngsta outside Ciroc Studios in Hollywood, and he took a break from plugging his new record to support Pump. TMZ broke the story ... Pump was arrested for firing a handgun while in his L.A. apartment. The 17-year-old rapper's mom could also be in trouble for leaving a minor home alone with a gun and weed.

Youngsta thinks law enforcement's version of the story is total BS, and didn't pull punches when we asked for his opinion.

We'd say BY is starting the "Free Lil Pump" campaign, but Pump got out of jail yesterday -- with a GPS ankle monitor -- and bragged about his "rich lawyer."

Bonus: Watch for Youngsta's baller exit in the lambo. L.A. traffic's a bitch!

He was also spittin' bars about popping Xanax and boasting about Gucci tats.

TMZ broke the story ... Pump was arrested for firing a handgun into the door of his San Fernando Valley residence. He had told cops intruders had fired from the outside in, but cops quickly realized it was the opposite -- that Pump was the shooter and there were no intruders.

He was arrested and taken to a Juvenile detention center, because he's still a minor.

Lil Pump Arrested for Shooting Gun While Home Alone

2/15/2018 9:09 AM PST
EXCLUSIVE

Lil Pump was arrested Wednesday night at his home after he fired a gun, but the reason he discharged the weapon is in dispute ... TMZ has learned.

According to law enforcement, Pump's manager reported 3 men were jimmying the rapper's front door, trying to get into his San Fernando Valley home around 4 PM, and the suspects fired a gun once through the door. The manager was not at the house, but was relaying info to cops after speaking to Pump.

When police responded, they found a bullet hole in the front door. However, there were no suspects on the scene. Cops say the 17-year-old rapper had been smoking marijuana, and after talking to him they found holes in the intruder story.

Cops say the trajectory of the bullet hole shows it came from inside the home. Police returned a few hours later with a search warrant ... and found a handgun in the bushes below the balcony of Pump's apartment. The weapon was unloaded, but cops found ammo for the gun in the apartment. Cops felt Pump had fired the gun into the door -- not an intruder -- and arrested him for discharging a weapon in an inhabited place.

There's more potential trouble for Pump's family -- police found marijuana in the apartment, and his mother was not home. We're told she's under investigation for endangering a minor and having an unsecured gun at home.

Pump is currently being held in juvenile detention.

Pump's camp insists there were indeed 3 men trying to get into the home, and he only fired out of fear they were about to gain entry to the apartment. They also say Pump believes he hit one of the suspects. We're told there are surveillance cameras that should show the alleged intruders, and Pump's team will be reviewing it ASAP.

Breaking News

Ex-MLB star Esteban Loaiza is fighting the charges in his cocaine smuggling case -- pleading not guilty to possessing more than 40 POUNDS of blow.

The 46-year-old former All-Star pitcher appeared in court in his jailhouse jumpsuit -- where his lawyer told the judge he denies all of the allegations against him.

As we previously reported, cops say Loaiza had a "sophisticated" drug smuggling compartment in his vehicle -- and when they searched his home, they found the motherload. Officials say Loaiza kept the drugs in a home just steps away from a preschool.

Prosecutors say Loaiza had come back from a trip to Mexico on the same day he was arrested

He's facing multiple felony criminal charges including possession of cocaine for sale.

The judge set Loaiza's bail at $250,000 after prosecutors argued that he's a flight risk. The judge ordered him not to leave San Diego without permission from the court.

If convicted on all counts, Loaiza faces more than 20 years in prison.

EXCLUSIVE

File Under: Snake On a Plane

Scumbag ex-Team USA doctor Larry Nassar got the private jet treatment Friday to fly from Michigan to Tucson to begin his federal prison stint ... and TMZ Sports has the photos.

Nassar boarded the plane at Detroit Metro Wayne County Airport in freezing Michigan temperatures -- the fact he didn't get a jacket makes us smile.

Records show the flight lasted 4 hours and 36 minutes. Nassar appears to be shackled and surrounded by law enforcement officials ... so we're guessing it wasn't exactly a Paris Hilton style private jet flight.

We asked the Federal Bureau of Prisons if it's typical for a high-profile prisoner to fly private but only got this response: "Due to security reasons, we do not share information on methods of prisoner transportation."

The good news ... Nassar has begun his 60-year sentence for child pornography crimes in a high-security federal prison in Tucson -- with roughly 1,500 other inmates.

His release date is scheduled for March 23, 2069 -- but he'll probably be dead by then.

One of the men arrested -- Judge Jay Rosman -- was also booked for resisting arrest.

The 6 men allegedly made contact with an undercover officer by text. They thought they were meeting a prostitute in a Naples hotel. The undercover officer, posing as a prostitute, negotiated a price with the men and at that point they were busted.

Estimated street value -- $500,000.
