Beyonce and Jay Z have learned the hard way it's hard to find a dream home when you're on a budget, even if the budget is $80 MILLION!!!

Bey and Jay have been looking at homes in L.A. for several years, but they've come up empty. Multiple real estate sources tell us, the couple has been pretty firm they don't want to pay more than $80 mil, but they have looked at homes above their price range.

They looked at a Bel Air home for $135 million about a month ago, but our sources say they are NOT buying that house.

There are a few homes they're currently eyeing, but so far they haven't written an offer.

So, you ask, how can you have an $80 million budget and not get your dream house? Well, if you want the best of the best in the City of Angels, you just have to go higher. Check out the gallery.

Justin Bieber Tickled Pink, Grilled Too

4/28/2017 12:30 AM PDT
Exclusive Details

You're not seeing pink elephants ... that's just Justin Bieber's new grill.

Sources close to JB tell us he recently bought himself a new pink sapphire grill ... which ran him somewhere in the ballpark of $15k.

The mouthpiece comes courtesy of Gold Teeth God -- a jeweler based out of L.A. -- who we're told Justin flew out to Miami last week to do an impression of his chompers.

The grill is a combo of pink sapphire and rose gold, with 6 teeth covered on top and another 6 on the bottom. It comes with 6 carats of sapphire ... and took about 5 days to make.

We're told Justin has bought jewelry from GTG before, so going to him for the grill was a no-brainer. He seems to dig it, too.

All we can say ... love your grill, Biebs.

@justinbieber Rose gold 6x6 light pink sapphires ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Jefferson Starship Ex-Guitarist Sues ... Is This Gonna Stop Them Now?

4/28/2017 12:20 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

The former lead guitarist of Jefferson Starship is furious at other members for jacking the name and tarnishing the rock band's legacy ... according to a new suit.

Craig Chaquico claims 2 of this former bandmates and several other musicians are using the Jefferson Starship name, without permission, to land gigs and sell merch. Chaquico says the founding JS members all agreed to retire the name in 1985 ... and move on simply as Starship.

But according to docs ... David Freiberg and Donny Baldwin have assumed the Jefferson Starship name with a ragtag group who have no connection to the OG rockers.

Chaquico says he did give another founding member, Paul Kantner, the right to use the name for shows, and he did while touring with Freiberg and Baldwin. However, Paul died in 2016, and Craig says the right to use JS died with him.

Chaquico wants Freiberg and Baldwin cut off from the name immediately.

FYI, Jefferson Starship -- or whatever name they end up with -- has concerts next month in Minnesota and California. Who knew??

Rita Ora See-Thru Top Is Doorman Approved

4/27/2017 5:57 PM PDT

Rita Ora made a cool exit from her hotel ... and put a look of sheer delight on the doorman's face.

The singer and actress left her hotel in NYC on Thursday rocking a slick all-black suit with a musical note on her jacket, and -- most importantly -- a see-though leotard underneath.

And just to reinforce what you've already seen ... no bra. Rita didn't seem to mind the extra exposure her outfit brought on the streets of the Big Apple.

Neither do we.

John Legend Running for Office? I'm Not That Guy!

4/27/2017 4:53 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

John Legend will talk politics anytime you want, but do NOT talk to him about getting into politics!

The singer, and frequent political activist, flew back into L.A. on Thursday, and we asked if he's ready to do more than dabble in the political world. Fact is, John's been one of the most vocal opponents of everything President Trump has done ... so we wondered if that was motivating him to run for office.

His answer is direct and to the point. In other words ... totally not like a politician.

In other news ... he's happy to talk poop emojis!

Justin Bieber Table for One

4/27/2017 2:20 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

There's an old saying, "No man is an island," but Justin Bieber may have disproved that Thursday during a solo lunch in bustling Bev Hills.

The Biebs was dining alone at Georgie, a restaurant attached to the Montage hotel. He was chillin' with the help of his laptop, oblivious to the ladies who were lunching around him and no doubt noticing someone famous was in their midst.

Earlier this week, the Biebs enjoyed the company of friends while dancing to Kendrick Lamar in a luxury box at the Clippers game.

Katy Perry Blasted for Collab with Migos Over Homophobic Remarks

4/27/2017 12:45 PM PDT

Katy Perry's getting slammed for her new single before anyone's even heard it, because people aren't cool with her co-stars on the track -- Migos.

Perry's new song, "Bon Appetit," will be released Friday, but the backlash has already begun when the cover art revealed she collaborated with the rappers. Fans are pissed because they've made homophobic and misogynistic remarks ... notably, when an ATL rapper came out as gay, Quavo said, "This world is not right."

Now, Perry's getting heat  ... especially after accepting a National Equality Award last month at the Human Rights Campaign gala.

This isn't a first for the pop singer ... she's also been criticized by the LGBT community for her songs "I Kissed a Girl" and "Ur So Gay."

We reached out to Katy's people ... so far no word back.

Janet Jackson Mommy's Night Out ... Takes Randy to See Bruno Mars

4/27/2017 10:05 AM PDT

Janet Jackson took a break from baby duty to treat one of her older brothers to a Bruno Mars concert.

Janet and Randy Jackson were spotted at the show earlier this week in Birmingham, England. Janet tried to keep a low profile with a ball cap pulled down low -- of course, the giant bodyguard standing over her was a little conspicuous.

One concertgoer said Janet wasn't dancing around much, but still seemed to be enjoying the music.

It's interesting, because her life is kinda drama-filled right now: divorcing Wissam Al Mana, raising 3-month-old Eissa, not to mention her mother Katherine Jackson's recent legal ordeal.

Everyone needs a night off. We meant Janet ... not Randy.

Justin Bieber Sorry, Kendrick ... I Won't Sit Down to be 'HUMBLE.'

4/27/2017 12:50 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Justin Bieber's dance moves are about to go viral -- dude was GIGGIN' hard to Kendrick Lamar's new single at an NBA playoff game ... awkwardness be damned.

The Biebs had box seats for Game 5 of the Clippers/Jazz series in L.A. Tuesday night, and was inspired to get up and dance when he heard Kendrick's song, "HUMBLE."

Some ticket holders got an up close and personal show of JB doing his thing ... especially the guy next to him. Too close, maybe.

Kendrick was in the house, and had the honor of sitting courtside. Key word ... sitting. No one knows his music better than K-Dot.

Dave Grohl My Ma Wrote a Book!!!

4/27/2017 6:48 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Dave Grohl is super proud of his mom's new book about raising him ... but when it comes to describing the kind of kid Dave was growing up ... well, he stepped in and ended that conversation!

We got Dave and his mother, Virginia, in NYC Wednesday -- where she kicked off her tour for her new book, "From Cradle to Stage: Stories From the Mothers Who Rocked and Raised Rock Stars," on 'The Late Show.'

The book sounds interesting ... Virginia interviews the mothers of Dr. Dre, Amy Winehouse, Adam Levine and others ... chronicling trajectories to fame.

Sean Kingston So, My Payments Are Late ... Jewelers Know I'm Good For It!

4/27/2017 7:03 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Sean Kingston is getting a raw deal from all the jewelers who've sued him for not paying for a bunch of chains and watches ... at least that's HIS story, and he's sticking to it.

Sean was at LAX flashing what he says is nearly $300k worth of ice and silver and gold -- so, naturally our guy had to ask why he's constantly got lawyers on his ass to pay for his bling. The singer/songwriter breaks down the giant conspiracy to take him down.

And Sean insists ... he ALWAYS pays. Eventually.

It's an interesting excuse explanation. Maybe not a good one, but still ...

Kendrick Lamar Praised By LAPD Commish We Bonded At Clippers Game

4/27/2017 12:30 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Something crazy went down at the Clippers game ... Kendrick Lamar forged a real, powerful friendship with the LAPD commissioner.

K-Dot's lyrics haven't exactly been pro-cop over the years -- he rapped about hating the po-po on "Alright" and once performed the song on top of a burned up police car.

Which is why it was shocking when he posed for a pic Tuesday night at the Clippers game with LAPD commish Steve Soboroff ... one of the top cops in L.A.

We spoke with Soboroff who says it wasn't a cheap PR stunt -- the guys are REALLY friends and have a mutual respect and understanding for each other.

"Do I support anti-police sentiment and speech?" Soboroff said ... "No, of course not. He expresses through his art form his feelings, and I respect that. And I think he respects – or I hope he would respect – how seriously we take community policing and understanding people’s views."

Soboroff says the two are on such good terms, Kendrick helped him buy tickets to the rapper's upcoming concert at Staples Center for his son (Steve's more of a Sinatra guy).

Bottom line ... "I consider him a friend, and I think he considers me a friend."

At least someone in L.A. won at the Clippers game.

Kodak Black Guilty of Hitting Strip Club ... Facing Serious Jail Time

4/26/2017 4:50 PM PDT
Breaking News

Kodak Black was just found guilty of violating house arrest by hitting up, among other places, a strip club, and could cost him hard time in prison.

Judge Thomas Lynch slapped the rapper with 5 guilty verdicts Wednesday in a Fort Lauderdale courtroom -- finding he'd clearly ventured out of his home without approval from his probation officer.

There was some good news -- the 19-year-old rapper was found not guilty of a battery. He was accused of hitting a bartender in the strip joint. Still, being in the club was bad enough.

Kodak will be sentenced next month, and prosecutors are pushing for the max, 8 years in prison.

Might be a while before his fans hear new music from Kodak. Enjoy ...
