Charlie Swears Under Oath

Published | Updated

TMZ has learned that Charlie Sheen went face to face with his estranged wife Denise Richards on Thursday as he sat for his deposition in his divorce case.

Sheen arrived with his lawyer, Lance Spiegel, and Richards showed up alone. The deposition was taken in Beverly Hills at the law offices of Neal Hersh, Richards' lawyer.

We have no details as to what transpired inside the deposition, but once source told TMZ it was a "highly tense situation." The divorce has been bitter, with Richards making various allegations against Sheen, all of which the "Two And A Half Men" star has denied.

So we're thinkin'....if Justin does hook up with Lauren and it works out, what the heck do you get the couple that either has or has invented everything?!?

Kate and Len Click for the Cameras

Published | Updated

Actress Kate Beckinsale and her director husband Len Wiseman went out for a long day of lunching, shopping, and rather conspicuous hand-holding, arm-clutching, and, in one slightly awkward case, high-fiving.

The pair, accompanied on their jaunt around Los Angeles' Robertson Boulevard by a phalanx of photographers, ate at The Ivy then wandered into several area stores, including fashionista haven Lisa Kline and Italian furniture emporium Poliform, all the while dauntlessly disrupting onrushing traffic by strolling through the middle of streets.

Beckinsale and Wiseman have been the subject of recent tabloid speculation suggesting that their marriage has hit the skids, fueled by Wiseman's absence at the recent premiere of her upcoming movie "Click" and a report, subsequently denied, that the two were living in separate homes. The pair seemed, at least physically speaking, very much attached to one another, and Beckinsale responds to a cameraman's question about their looking happy by saying, with some iciness, "That's a surprise."

UK Press Gets Personal with Vaughniston

Published

Jen and Vince faced some tough questions at the London premiere of their new film "The Break-Up," but still managed to stay tight lipped about their rumored relationship.

Aniston remained cool, although somewhat taken aback, as one reporter asked her how hard it was making the film after her own break-up with ex-hubby Brad Pitt, replying 'Not hard at all, we were way past that at that point."

Vince had his own share of personal q's thrown his way as well with another curious reporter asking him at what point did he fall for Aniston during the filming. Vaughn, of course, played dodgeball with her saying, "we just had a good time shooting the movie and had a lot of fun."

Like all previous premieres, the two arrived separately and remained like that all the way down the red carpet, ironically mimicking Brangelina's press appearances for "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."

Picture This- Heather Mills and Friend

Published | Updated

With alimony on the line, explicit pictures surfacing and a divorce unfolding, Heather Mills did what any other celebrity would do - went to the nail salon with a spare leg in tow.

Mills and a friend were spotted Monday leaving a salon in Rye, England. Mills' friend lent a hand by carrying Heather's prosthetic leg sporting a high heel.

Heather uses a prosthetic leg after losing hers in 1993 when she was struck by a police motorcycle while standing on a street corner in London.

Word on the street is that she brought the leg to the salon in order to get the toes painted to match her real foot.

Director David Lynch Files for Divorce -- After a Month

Published | Updated

'Twin Peaks' director David Lynch filed for divorce this week, Hollywood-style.

Lynch filed to divorce wife Mary Sweeney on June 12 -- two days after the couple separated and only a month after they were married, according to the petition filed in LA County Superior Court. The timing is unusual, considering that the pair have a 14-year-old son together.

In the filing, Lynch cites "irreconcilable differences" for the divorce.

In addition to having a child together, Lynch and Sweeney also have worked together for years, with Sweeney working on Lynch projects like 'Blue Velvet' and the upcoming 'Inland Empire.'

Stars -- they're just like us, right? They meet, fall in love, marry and, well, divorce just like 50 percent of the rest of us. But as we bicker over who gets the dog for the Fourth of July and permanent custody of the easy chair... stars deal in cold hard cash... wild amounts of it.

TMZ has done some digging to find divorce settlement whoppers. A theme surfaced, which could be an important life lesson for us all: If you line the pockets of your soon-to-be ex with money, and lots of it, they're way more likely to leave happy... and leave you alone.

Check out the Ex's in happier times!

Richards Purrs with the Pussycats

Published | Updated

While Charlie Sheen was showing off his new girlfriend in Hollywood this weekend, his ex, Denise Richards, was busy getting down with an even sexier group of ladies, The Pussycat Dolls.

Denise was a guest Doll as the burlesque group took the stage at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas. Wearing only her sexy lingerie and larger than life hair, Richards served as emcee and ended the show by swimming around in a giant champagne glass, saying the experience was 'better than being a Bond girl!'

And anyone who actually saw her less than convincing turn as nuclear physicist 'Dr. Christmas Jones' in 'The World Is Not Enough' would certainty agree that Denise may have finally found her calling.

Jessica to Nick -- You Don't Have the Stomach to Sue

Published | Updated

Jessica Simpson has offered Nick Lachey what is an "insulting" property settlement offer, banking on the assumption that Lachey does not want to press the matter in court.

Multiple sources connected with the former couple tell TMZ that Simpson has offered Lachey less than $1.5 million to settle the division of property. Under California law, Lachey would be entitled to half of what the couple earned during their marriage. The Associated Press reports that in 2004 alone, Simpson raked in $30 million.

Marshall Mathers (Eminem) vs. Kimberley Mathers

Love isn't necessarily better the second time around as the Oscar-winning rapper files for divorce from his wife, again.

THE MARRIAGE: First marriage in 1999, first divorce in 2001, second marriage January 14, 2006

THE SPLIT: Eminem filed April 5, 2006

THE CHILDREN: Hailie Jade Scott born December 25, 1995

WHERE ARE THEY NOW: In April, less than three months after remarrying Kim Mathers, Eminem filed for divorce claiming "a breakdown in the marriage relationship to the extent that the objects of matrimony have been destroyed." The filing shows the couple had a prenuptial agreement and Eminem is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their daughter.

Earlier this month, Kim filed a counter complaint seeking joint legal and physical custody of their daughter, child support, payment of legal fees and payment for mortgage, insurance and utilities for her Michigan home. Although in the past Kim has been a source of lyrical inspiration for Eminem, so far, there's been no word if their latest split will be immortalized in his music.

Paul McCartney vs.

Heather Mills McCartney

Despite being in the spotlight for decades, intense media scrutiny causes the music legend's marriage to go out of tune.

THE MARRIAGE: June 11, 2002

THE SPLIT: Underway

THE CHILDREN: Beatrice McCartney born October 28, 2003

WHERE ARE THEY NOW: After nearly four years of marriage, former Beatle Paul McCartney and his second wife Heather Mills McCartney separated. The couple blamed pressures from the media as the reason for the split, but insisted it was an amicable split.

For years the couple has been dogged with rumors that McCartney's children from his first marriage to Linda McCartney did not approve of the former model and animal rights advocate. The couple have always denied those allegations.

Despite McCartney's estimated wealth of $1.5 billion dollars, it is believed that he did not make Mills McCartney sign a pre-nuptial agreement.
