Boxing superstar Anthony Joshua has been released from a Nigerian hospital after being involved in a car wreck that killed two of his trainers.

Anthony, a former heavyweight champion and Olympic gold medalist, was discharged late Wednesday afternoon and will continue his recovery from home ... according to authorities in Nigeria.

As we reported ... Anthony was under observation at a hospital in Lago after Monday's fatal car crash.

Days after the car crash that injured Anthony Joshua and killed two of his trainers ... the man behind the wheel has reportedly been discharged from the hospital -- and could face criminal charges for his role in the accident.

A police spokesperson told The Guardian Nigeria the driver, who was hired for the trip, has been speaking with officials to share his side of the story.

The outlet stated that he could be hit with reckless driving charges as a result of Monday's incident. The driver of the truck that Joshua's SUV smashed into fled the scene immediately after the crash ... and is now being hunted down by officials.

Reed told FOX 5 Vegas he was getting ready to use his hot tub -- you see the jacuzzi in the corner of the yard -- and had gone inside to talk to his wife moments before the car came crashing through the wall.

The tragic death of Anthony Joshua's trainer, Kevin "Latif" Ayodele, has resulted in an outpouring of support for the boxing star's longtime friend ... with more than $180,000 raised to help build a mosque in his honor after he was killed in a car crash in Nigeria.

The fundraiser was launched on Monday by SPOT Project, just hours after Ayodele and another member of Joshua's team, Sina Ghami, died when the Lexus SUV they were in slammed into a stationary truck on the side of the road. Joshua suffered minor injuries in the accident.

"I’m absolutely shocked that he died today and I want to be part of the people who help keep his legacy alive," the fundraiser’s website said. "This is why we’ve decided that we want to build a masjid and uphold his legacy."

Bad news out of the boxing world ... renowned heavyweight fighter Anthony Joshua was reportedly injured in a deadly car wreck in Nigeria -- just 10 days after he knocked out Jake Paul in the ring.

The accident occurred on the congested Lagos-Ibadan expressway in Ogun State in southwest Nigeria on Monday, when Joshua's vehicle "collided with a stationary truck," according to media reports, citing a police statement.

Joshua was a backseat passenger in the vehicle with 3 other people -- two of whom were killed, according to the reports. The boxing superstar was reportedly taken to a hospital for treatment after suffering minor injuries

Videos posted on social media show Joshua sitting dazed inside the car moments before being pulled out by Good Samaritans.

New video shows the fatal car crash that killed "Call of Duty" video game creator Vincent Zampella ... and it looks like speed was definitely a factor.

In the footage, obtained by TMZ, you see a red Ferrari come zooming out of a tunnel on the Angeles Crest Highway in Altadena, CA ... the sports car skids and crashes into the concrete barriers between the edge of the road and the San Gabriel Mountains.

Within a matter of seconds, a fireball erupts among the mangled car wreck ... and folks rush over and pull a body from the wreckage.

"Call of Duty" video game creator Vincent Zampella reportedly died in a car wreck on a mountainous stretch of highway near Los Angeles this weekend.

The California Highway Patrol says the single-car crash was reported around 12:45 PM Sunday afternoon near mile marker 62 on the Angeles Crest Highway in Altadena.

Two people were involved in the crash, according to the CHP, with one of the victims pronounced dead at the scene. NBC Los Angeles was the first to report that person was Vincent.

The video game developer was reportedly driving the car and was heading south when the car veered off the road and struck a concrete barrier ... igniting a fire.

Vincent was reportedly stuck inside the driver's seat as the car burned ... the passenger was ejected and later died at a hospital. No word on the passenger's identity.

Popular business influencer Aline Cristina Dalmolin has tragically died after a horrific Porsche crash ... with the driver allegedly drunk and bolting from the scene.

The 41-year-old internet personality was riding as a passenger when the car slammed into a utility pole at high speed in the early hours of Monday morning in Balneário Camboriú, Brazil ... leaving her with catastrophic injuries -- including a severed arm and severe head injuries.

Aline didn’t make it to the hospital ... she suffered multiple cardiac arrests on the way and was pronounced dead en route.

The 57-year-old driver reportedly walked away without a scratch -- apparently drunk -- before taking off on foot. Cops say they later tracked him down hiding in a nearby mangrove area, where a police spokesperson noted he was showing "clear signs of intoxication, such as slurred speech, difficulty walking, the smell of alcohol, and disorientation."

Tragedy in the TV world ... Wenne Alton Davis -- an actress who appeared in "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" -- was struck and killed by a car in New York.

The 60-year-old -- whose real name was Wendy Davis -- suffered a head injury when she was hit by a Cadillac while crossing the street near Manhattan’s Broadway on Monday ... and she was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she died later that night.

The 61-year-old man driving the SUV stayed at the scene after striking the actress and hasn’t been charged. Cops say he hit Davis while making a left onto West 53rd Street -- and she had the right of way.

Wendy was best known for her role in Amazon Prime’s hit series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," where she played a police officer opposite Rachel Brosnahan in 2023 -- and she also appeared on NBC’s "Blindspot" and "New Amsterdam."

An aircraft crash-landed right on top of the unsuspecting driver of a Toyota Camry on I-95 in Brevard County, Florida, Monday night ... and the whole thing was captured on camera.

Everyone survived, and there were no serious injuries in the incident, according to local news outlet WESH-TV.

Twitch streamer MeltIsLIVE is lucky to be alive after getting into a serious car crash over the weekend while speeding down a Georgia highway with at least three other people riding in the car with him.

The wreck went down Saturday in Atlanta, near the Spring Street and Pine Street exits, when Melt suddenly lost control of his vehicle, slammed into another car, and skidded across the roadway with viewers catching the chaotic aftermath live online.

From the footage, it appears MeltIsLIVE was wearing a seatbelt. MeltIsLIVE's current condition is unclear. We've reached out to Melt and Atlanta Police for comment ... so far, no word back.

TikTok star Marquay The Goat's sudden death is now believed to be connected to a serious car accident he was involved in just a couple weeks ago ... according to the county coroner.

Buddy Bryan, the Muscogee County Coroner, tells TMZ ... Marquay Collins -- the TikToker's real name -- was pronounced dead at his home on Wednesday.

However ... Bryan says Marquay was in a car crash on November 7th and was taken to the hospital, where he was evaluated and released the same day. After returning home, he began complaining of headaches, along with neck, shoulder and spine pain.

Madison LeCroy was supposed to hit the BravoCon Live stage over the weekend in Las Vegas but instead, she's recovering after being involved in a scary car accident that forced her to bow out of the taping.

Madison broke the news on her Instagram Stories explaining why she wouldn't be joining Andy Cohen and the rest of the Bravolebrities at Planet Hollywood on Saturday.

"Hey y'all ... I want to let you know I won’t be making it to WWHL tonight," she wrote. "My team and I were in a car accident on the way back to the hotel. Thankfully we're all okay, but it was frightening and we're still trying to catch our breath from it. I'm just grateful everyone walked away."

The possibilities are beautiful at Ulta ... but not for this driver, who crashed into the store while leading police on a high-speed chase through suburban Detroit.

The incident went down early Sunday ... kicking off just before 1 AM when police dashcam footage captured a white SUV speeding away from three Royal Oak police officers who reportedly pulled the car over, after receiving a report of a vehicle driving on the train tracks.

The cops race back to their vehicle and tear down the street after the SUV ... making a complicated series of turns through neighborhoods and alleyways ... before the driver crashes head-on through the front glass windows of the store.
