He wants to thank the bystanders, state police, first responders and hospital staff who saved him. He is grateful to be on the mend. At this time, we kindly ask for privacy for Eugene and his family as he focuses on recovering from his injuries."
Comedian Eugene Mirman -- who voices Gene Belcher in the animated comedy "Bob's Burgers" -- was pulled from a burning car after a terrifying crash Tuesday in Bedford, New Hampshire ... multiple sources tell TMZ.
The actor was trapped inside his 2026 Lucid Gravity, which had caught fire after he struck the Bedford Toll Plaza.
A veteran State Trooper, along with New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte and other witnesses, reportedly helped pull Eugene through the car window and bring him to safety.

Nordegren -- who shares two kids with Woods -- is reportedly worried after Friday's wreck, according to People … which ended with Tiger in handcuffs, where he's now facing three charges, including driving under the influence.
According to the report, Nordegren has concerns about whether Woods can stay healthy over the long run ... and be there for their kids -- 18-year-old Sam and 17-year-old Charlie.

7:15 AM PT Tuesday -- TMZ Sports obtained the arrest affidavit that shows Tiger Woods had two loose hydrocodone pills in his pocket at the time of his DUI arrest and stumbled through his field sobriety test.
Tiger Woods is addressing the question everyone is asking -- Why doesn't he get a driver, especially if he has a clear substance abuse problem. Well, he's not giving the answer people wanted.
Tiger cares a lot about his privacy, at least according to People. The mag cites an anonymous source who claims he won't hire a private driver because he "doesn't want anyone to watch over him or know what he is doing." The source adds that the legendary golfer also thinks he's fine to drive.
The insider goes on to say that Tiger "despises public scrutiny." It's pretty ironic, because he's come under plenty of scrutiny after getting busted twice for DUI.

Tiger Woods was arrested in Jupiter, FL, after speeding down a street, clipping a car, and rolling his Range Rover over ... according to law enforcement.
The accident happened around 2 PM ET. A pickup truck was turning into a driveway on a two-lane street when the Range Rover roared down the street at a high speed, according to Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek.
The driver of the pickup truck tried to turn into a driveway, but the Range Rover was going at such a high speed that the pickup truck could not fully enter the driveway, and Tiger clipped that vehicle, causing the Range Rover to flip over on the driver's side.
