D4vd is getting cozy in a new jail cell -- he was transferred to the L.A. County Men's Central Jail just before 10 PM Monday, TMZ has learned.
The "Romantic Homicide" singer won't be able to make many friends in the clink -- a rep for the L.A. County Sheriff's Office tells us ... D4vd has been placed in segregation because he's a noteworthy inmate, which means he'll be alone with his thoughts most of the day.
The Men's Central Jail has an inmate bed capacity of 5,640 inmates and houses criminals of all security levels.
D4vd is in jail after being arrested for the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas ... and neighbors of the Hollywood Hills home where he was popped are shocked for multiple reasons.
We broke the news ... The 21-year-old singer was booked into the LAPD 77th Street Station Jail late Thursday after detectives arrested him on suspicion of murdering the teen. D4vd -- born David Anthony Burke -- is being held without bail.
Neighbors who live on the same street -- not far from the famed Chateau Marmont -- told TMZ ... they didn't even know D4vd lived among them when the home he was staying in was swarmed by police.
Lisa Hochsteinallegedly spent nearly 6 hours sitting alone in a jail cell with no food after turning herself in to Miami authorities ... this after a judge ordered officials to process and promptly release her ... TMZ has learned.
According to a court order, obtained by TMZ ... "The Real Housewives of Miami" star was to be booked and released on her own recognizance "without undue delay" ... and the judge specifically directed she not be required to appear before a court prior to her release.
Sources familiar with the situation tell us Lisa turned herself in around 9:45 AM Wednesday, was booked at approximately 11 AM, and wasn't released until about 5 PM. The jail confirms she was booked around 11:45 AM and released just before 5 PM. We're told, during that time, she remained in a cold jail cell without food.
Our sources say the surrender had been arranged in advance, with plans in place for her to be guided through the booking process before release.

Court records obtained by TMZ show Colbert was cuffed by cops after they showed up to his Florida neighborhood in the Ft.
