Falcons' Jamal Anderson Arrested In L.A. ... For Suspicion Of Felony Domestic Violence

Jamal Anderson, former Atlanta Falcons star running back, was arrested in Los Angeles on Tuesday after an alleged physical altercation.

Cops told NBC L.A. that they responded to a home in the San Fernando Valley for an alleged dispute around 11 AM. While there, they determined that the dispute began as a verbal argument but escalated into a physical altercation, with Anderson allegedly strangling the victim.

Jamal was eventually thrown in cuffs and hauled off to jail on suspicion of felony domestic violence. Jail records indicate he is currently being held on $50,000 bond.

An Arizona man who pled guilty to the murder of his 2-year-old daughter died the night before he was set to turn himself in to authorities ahead of sentencing ... TMZ has learned.

Christopher Scholtes' November 4 death is being investigated as a suicide, the Maricopa County Medical Examiner in Phoenix confirms to TMZ.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... authorities are looking at carbon monoxide poisoning as a possible cause of death ... but the Maricopa County Medical Examiner will make the final determination. According to the Pima County Attorney's Office in Tucson, he died Tuesday night.

Scholtes left his toddler daughter, Parker, asleep in his car in July last year and went into his house in Marana, a suburb of Tucson. He reportedly played video games and watched porn inside, according to the Arizona Daily Star.

A woman who slaughtered her wife by stabbing her several times with a sword has been sentenced to 37 years to life in prison.

Weichien Huang was given her sentence on Monday after being found guilty of murdering her wife, Chen Chen Fei, in July 2024 ... and for attempting to murder her mother-in-law -- who was captured on camera flagging down cops on the street with sword in hand.

Prosecutors say Huang went after her wife during a domestic dispute about their impending divorce at their San Dimas, California home and fatally stabbed her 13 times with a katana sword that was already in the house. When her mother-in-law walked into the room, Huang turned the sword on her.

Jake Haro -- the man who pleaded guilty to killing his 7-month-old son, Emmanuel Haro -- was sentenced to 25 years to life in state prison Monday.

Last month, Jake pleaded guilty to second-degree murder -- an unlawful killing with "malice aforethought" -- as well as child endangerment and filing a false police report.

Emmanuel's mother, Rebecca Haro, separately pleaded not guilty to the same charge.

Sean "Diddy" Combs will have a quicker appeals process after a judge gave it the go-ahead ... and his lawyers and federal prosecutors could be making oral arguments as early as April 2026.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, a judge on Monday approved Diddy's request for an expedited appeals process ... after the convicted mogul said it would be the only way to ensure justice can be done, given his relatively short sentence and the risk of him just serving it out while the appeal is pending.

Diddy Bad Boy Begins Fort Dix Prison Sentence

Sean "Diddy" Combs is all checked in at his new home for the next two-and-a-half years ... TMZ has learned he's begun serving his federal prison sentence.

Law enforcement sources tell us Diddy was transferred to FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey early Thursday morning and began the check-in process. Remember, this is the prison he requested to serve his time at after Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced him to 50 months in prison.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons ultimately granted Diddy's request.
