Nancy Guthrie died "shortly" after she was taken from her home in Tucson, Arizona ... according to a never-before-seen ransom note that cops say was sent days after she was snatched out of her bed in the middle of the night.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department released two notes received by local Tucson news outlet KOLD ... the first is a Feb. 2 ransom demand and the second, received on Feb. 6, claims Nancy "perished."

The note is addressed to the Guthries and it says ... "We did not fully grasp the seriousness of her physical condition. We never intended to hurt her, that was not our intention. She perished shortly after she was taken. We believe it was heart related."

The author says Nancy "is buried in nature" ... and they tell the family, "Nothing you could have done could have changed the outcome."

"Love After Lockup" star LaTisha Collier will be serving the next 15 years in a low-security prison ... only a short drive from where her husband Keith Collier lives, TMZ has learned. 

LaTisha is headed to an all-female prison in Iowa, which holds around 900 inmates. The reality star will be allowed visitors from family and friends ... and Keith won't have to move mountains to get there.

The prison is a couple of hours from Davenport, Iowa, where the couple had been living. 

Luigi Mangione is not happy with prosecutors in his state trial ... he says they're doing too much to limit the number of people in court ... and he wants the proceedings broadcast live on air.

Luigi's lawyers sent a letter to Judge Carro on Friday ... and it's clear Luigi is mad that the state plans to partially exclude the public and the press from his trial.

A source close to the case … “The DA’s office never chooses which journalists attend the trial — and they won’t do that in this case either.”

According to the letter, Luigi has a big issue with the fact that the court and the District Attorney plan to hand-pick the reporters who are allowed to attend the trial.

Prosecutors have reached a plea deal with Courtney Clenney in the stabbing death of her boyfriend, TMZ has learned.

Court records obtained by TMZ show Courtney reached a plea deal in the criminal case accusing her of fatally stabbing Christian Obumseli in Miami-Dade County.

The OnlyFans model's lawyer, Frank Prieto, confirmed the deal to TMZ.

She was facing life in prison on a murder charge.

As we reported ... Courtney killed Christian during an altercation in their Miami high-rise back in 2022 ... she claimed self-defense.

Ian Diaz's wife begged a federal judge to show him mercy before he was sentenced to more than a decade behind bars ... warning his imprisonment would tear apart their family and devastate their young son ... TMZ has learned.

In an April 2023 letter obtained by TMZ, Amy asked the court for leniency and revealed she and Ian shared a 5-year-old son. The letter was filed with Ian's sentencing materials.

Amy described Ian as a hands-on father who picked their son up from school almost every day, helped with his homework, played games with him and was teaching him chess.

"Love After Lockup" star LaTisha Collier's not going to love this ... she's going to prison .... because she was just given hard time in her forgery case ... TMZ has learned.

An Iowa judge sentenced the "Love After Lockup" star to 15 years in prison ... her punishment in the case accusing her of scamming clients of her financial firm.

LaTisha was hit with felony charges of forgery and identity theft last August ... prosecutors say she used her tax-prep and bookkeeping business to access clients' money and personal information. Prosecutors dismissed the identity theft charge.

A California man was arrested for allegedly sending death threats to the step-mom of one of Nolan Wells' friends ... the woman is a sitting judge in Mississippi, and now we have a visual of the hateful messages.

New legal docs obtained by TMZ show the DMs Joseph Alfredo Vasquez Dumarce allegedly sent Jackson County Chancery Judge Ashlee Cole ... alluding to a package with an explosive device inside.

Dumarce references Cole's family too ... her step-son is Warren Hudson, a friend of Nolan's who went on a popular podcast to push back on allegations Nolan's friends had something to do with his death.

High school shooter Colt Gray's father on Thursday was sentenced to 15 years behind bars ... punishment for ignoring serious red flags when he gifted his son a gun used to commit murder.

Colin Gray was convicted on multiple charges back in March ... including second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter for giving his son -- who police investigated for prior school shooting threats -- a rifle for Christmas.

Colt used the gun to murder two students and two staffers of Apalachee High School in Georgia in September 2024.

Several others were wounded when he opened fire.

The Michigan murder-suicide not only saw the shooting deaths of two parents and six children, but also the gruesome deaths of a bunch of pets who were found inside the family's "house of horror" ... TMZ has learned.

Ottawa County Sheriff's Office Captain Jake Sparks tells TMZ ... after police and firefighters responded to the Karolkiewicz house on July 24, they found at least 3 dead dogs and one dead cat inside the home. The pets all died from smoke or fire, and there may have been more pets who perished.

Sparks also said the bodies of Kristopher Karolkiewicz, 47, and his wife, Amanda “Mandy” Karolkiewicz, 39, were discovered in their bedroom. The couple's 4 sons and twin daughters -- ranging in age from 5 to 11 -- were found in their bedrooms as well.

Bryan Kohberger handwrote his plea to withdraw his guilty plea … as he makes move to toss his life sentence for the murders at the University of Idaho, TMZ has learned.  

TMZ obtained the petition filed by Kohberger, who is currently locked up in an Idaho prison serving a sentence of life without parole, claiming his trial lawyers were “ineffective.” 

In the paperwork, Kohberger alleged he entered his plea in the case “not knowingly or voluntarily” because “he was induced by unkept promises.” 

An L.A. model and influencer already in deep you-know-what with prosecutors has found herself on the wrong side of the law again ... because she was just arrested in a separate theft case months after being hit with a slew of burglary charges.

Here's the deal ... Adva Lavie -- also known as Mia Ventura -- was arrested by Beverly Hills Police on Tuesday in connection to a theft allegation out of Riverside County in Southern California, NBC 4 Los Angeles reports. She's also allegedly in violation of a court order, and she's being held without bail.

This is a separate theft allegation unconnected to her previous charges.

Back in March, prosecutors charged Lavie with two counts of unauthorized use of personal identifying information; two counts of grand theft; one count of first-degree residential burglary with a person present and one count of first-degree residential burglary. 

A Rhode Island man whose birth was formally declared a "miracle" by Pope Leo XIV has been arrested in connection with a double shooting.

Tyquan Johnson, 19, is accused of shooting two people ... and he was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals fugitive task force at a Virginia home Wednesday morning, the Newport Police Department announced.

Police say Johnson shot two people in Newport, Rhode Island on July 19 and fled to Virginia.

The two people he allegedly shot suffered non-life-threatening injuries. A second person is wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting, but Newport police did not identify them.

Ian Diaz from "A Toxic Love Story" has remarried since framing his ex in a cyberstalking hoax ... tying the knot with an old girlfriend, TMZ has learned.

Sources close to Ian tell TMZ ... Ian had dated a woman named Amy before he dated Michelle Hadley and married Angela Connell Diaz, and they got hitched before the cyber scandal unfolded.

Our sources tell us Ian and Amy secretly married in 2020 ... before he was sentenced to prison. We're also told Ian's fathered children with Amy ... although it's unclear if that happened when they dated initially or since they got married.

The trial for Lindsay Clancy -- the Massachusetts mother accused of brutally murdering her three young children -- continued Thursday with multiple first responders testifying to the horror they came upon.

Multiple paramedics took the stand ... and described finding the three dead young children in ghastly detail ... and described their efforts to revive the victims.

Opening statements were Monday in a horrific case ... and Clancy's ex-husband Patrick took the stand, and he defended her ... which he continued to do on the second day.
