Kevin Federline is wishing his ex-wife Britney Spears the best after her DUI arrest ... and he hopes she'll makes some changes in her life.

K-Fed's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, tells TMZ ... "Kevin hopes for the best for Britney and if help is necessary, he hopes that she will neither resist it or those who are attempting to work with her."

Kevin's lawyer says they've spoken since Britney's Wednesday night arrest and says they don't know more than what's been reported in the media, but adds ... "The concern is whether this is just a one off or a one more."

Britney Spears’ first husband Jason Alexander is rushing to her defense after her DUI arrest ... calling people out for jumping to conclusions when the full story isn’t even out yet.

In an IG Reel, Jason -- who was famously married to the singer for just 55 hours before their annulment in 2004 -- pointed out her reported 0.06 blood-alcohol level is actually below the legal BAC limit in most states. He also said it’s possible any substances in her system could’ve been legally prescribed medication, which would change the narrative entirely.

Jason doubled down, saying it’s unfair for the internet to run with "drunk driving" speculation before the facts are confirmed ... adding rumors spread fast and people end up judged before the truth is even clear.

Britney Spears was arrested for DUI last night ... and now TMZ has more details about the pop superstar's run-in with the law.

California Highway Patrol tells TMZ ... at approximately 8:48 PM Wednesday, a black BMW 430i was reported for driving erratically at a high rate of speed southbound on Interstate 101.

We're told officers located the car on the freeway, and when the driver pulled off the 101 at Westlake Boulevard in Thousand Oaks, officers identified her as Britney Spears.

Jessica -- the former advocate who goes by the handle "realiteatv3" on TikTok -- joined us on "TMZ Live" Thursday ... and, we asked her how she feels about pushing for Britney to get out of the conservatorship after her DUI arrest last night.

Jessica -- who has already opened up on TikTok about feeling the movement ultimately did more harm than good -- tells us she's been watching Britney's scary social media videos ... including the clip where she danced around with a pair of knives, and it's made her do a 180 on her previous position.

Britney Spears' inner circle is rallying behind her after her late-night traffic stop ... and TMZ has learned they're hoping a judge chooses treatment over jail time.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... people close to Britney want the judge to order her into a program rather than sentence her to any time behind bars after her Wednesday night DUI arrest. We're told those close to her believe this could be a pivotal moment ... one where the focus shifts to getting her help and support -- instead of punishment.

We broke the story ... Britney was pulled over by California Highway Patrol officers around 9:30 PM Wednesday in Westlake Village, CA, not far from her home. We're told she was alone in the car when officers initiated the stop.

3:10 PM PT -- Law enforcement sources are now clarifying ... cops suspect Britney was under the influence of substances, in addition to alcohol, but say there were no drugs found in her car.

The CHP press release says "chemical test results are pending" ... were told that only means they're testing her blood for drugs and alcohol.

Britney Spears may be in trouble for more than just allegations of drinking and driving ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the investigation tell TMZ ... in addition to suspicion of DUI, there was also an unknown substance found in her car, which will be part of the arrest.

We're told the substance is now being tested.

Tucker Carlson's dealing with a stressful situation, and he's got no nicotine pouches to calm him ... because hijackers stole a whole shipment of his product ... TMZ has learned.

We're told the former Fox News host's brand ALP Pouches was set to sell a limited-edition nicotine pouch line called "ALP Drifters" ... but a shipment containing 378,000 tins was stolen last week -- less than 24 hours after the company publicly announced the product.

The shipment of ALP Drifters -- which is said to be worth millions -- was picked up in Southern California logistics facility by someone who "presented what appeared to be legitimate operating credentials," the company told TMZ in a statement. Cameras caught the truck driving out of the facility.

Cardi B is demanding blogger Tasha K show up for an examination of her finances in person, and to turn over her bank records ... just months after the two ended their battle over millions of dollars owed, TMZ has learned.

According to docs from Tasha's bankruptcy case in Florida, obtained by TMZ, the "WAP" rapper is demanding Tasha's company produce records relating to her income from YouTube and other social media accounts. Cardi also wants copies of Tasha's tax returns.

More news following the tragic death of late Food Network star Anne Burrell ... authorities say medics did not attempt to revive her with Narcan, because she was already dead when they found her.

According to a police report, reviewed by TMZ ... Anne's husband, Stuart Claxton, found her body lying face-up on the shower floor of a bathroom in their Brooklyn home at 7:40 AM on June 17 last year. When emergency responders arrived, they pronounced Anne dead at 8 AM, the report said.

Police say they found "numerous over-the-counter medications mixed in a bowl" in the vicinity of Anne's body.

A judge absolutely tore into Shia LaBeouf in court today for his alleged copious use of the homophobic F-word during the actor's recent brouhaha in New Orleans ... and ordered him to participate in weekly drug tests.

In court Thursday, a judge determined Shia was not taking his addiction seriously and, by using a homophobic slur, he'd threatened the safety of a marginalized community that has gone through "so much terror already."

As you know ... Shia has been charged with 2 counts of simple battery after he allegedly punched a bar worker, sparking a street melee that ended with Shia in handcuffs last week.
