MTV has officially pulled the plug on "Ridiculousness" ... ending one of the longest-running series in the network's history ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar tell TMZ ... the decision was relayed to the cast and crew this week, with everyone informed the current season will be the show's last. We're told the shocking announcement came straight from the network's top brass.

The show went dark in July and was supposed to come back in January ... but instead, TMZ has learned, previously produced first-run episodes will continue to air on MTV through 2026, but no more original episodes will be produced.

News that Gayle King is getting booted from "CBS Mornings" is news to her ... because she says the network powers that be are singing a much different tune in her office!

TMZ caught up with GK as she left her NYC studio Friday morning, and she tells us from what she's hearing, she's not only doing a great job, but she's well-liked at CBS ... and she says the feeling's mutual -- she loves what she does and the coworkers with whom she does it.

While she doesn't flat-out deny that she could be leaving the morning news show ... she says the chatter in the building is not matching up with the reports in the media.

Reality TV is the perfect place for politicians to start -- at least that's how Chris Lambton, runner-up of "The Bachelorette" Season 6 feels ... 'cause he's now running to be a state rep!

TMZ caught up with Chris -- who competed on Ali Fedotowsky's season of the hit ABC series in 2010 -- and he says his time on the show, followed by his multiple gigs as an HGTV host, gave him some of the best preparation possible to be now running for a state rep spot in Massachusetts.

It makes total sense -- Chris says "The Bachelorette" taught him how to interview and think on the spot, while also giving him a fantastic platform ... while hosting gigs with HGTV allowed him to learn from all sorts of people around the states. That's just part of why Chris says reality TV completely prepared him to represent his family and friends on Massachusetts' Cape Cod -- it's all in the clip!

Chrisean Rock has a new man in her life -- after kicking the last guy to the curb -- and doesn't want to hear any criticism from the peanut gallery talking 'bout an age difference!!!

TMZ Hip Hop caught up with Chrisean out in West Hollywood last night ... where she eagerly opened up about her new relationship with up-and-coming rapper "3" AKA TopHat33k.

Chrisean's dating preference is clear at this point, having dated Blueface and HoodTrophy Bino before; the latter rapper being a fresh split from just a few weeks ago after they landed in hot water trashing a hotel room together.

Sean "Diddy" Combs is all checked in at his new home for the next two-and-a-half years ... TMZ has learned he's begun serving his federal prison sentence.

Law enforcement sources tell us Diddy was transferred to FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey early Thursday morning and began the check-in process. Remember, this is the prison he requested to serve his time at after Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced him to 50 months in prison.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons ultimately granted Diddy's request.

Influencer Eugenia Cooney has resurfaced at Disney World amid her social media hiatus ... and growing concern from fans over her health.

An air traffic controller working two jobs through the government shutdown isn't trying to alarm flyers ... but, he thinks a mental lapse on the part of another ATC is possible given the current issues in he field.

We spoke with Jack Criss -- an air traffic controller with more than 15 years of experience in the field -- on "TMZ Live" Thursday ... and, he told us he has a friend who refused to fly to visit him because she feared getting on a plane amid the increased stress on other controllers.

Criss tells us he's a safety advocate, and he always gives 100% focus to his job when he's working ... but, he could see a situation where an air traffic controller -- worried about not receiving any pay, while also dealing with other personal issues -- could screw up and end up hurting a lot of people.

Logan Paul's CryptoZoo legal nightmare is officially over ... 'cause TMZ has learned a judge has reaffirmed the August dismissal of the class action lawsuit against LP, which accused him of defrauding investors in his failed NFT project.

The case stemmed from CryptoZoo -- Logan's 2021 NFT game that promised players could earn money by breeding "virtual animals" ... but the project never really got off the ground. Disgruntled investors filed a class action lawsuit last year, claiming Logan and his team "rug-pulled" the project and misled buyers.

According to a magistrate judge, the plaintiffs failed to link Logan directly to their alleged losses. This week, a district judge agreed.

Shakira's not the only victim of some shady tax collecting over in Spain ... at least according to international lawyer Robert Amsterdam, who is warning Americans and their businesses about what he says is a bait-and-switch scheme.

Following a press conference Thursday, Amsterdam unloaded on the Spanish government and its tax collectors ... he says the government incentivizes inspectors with a bonus system where they get a slice of the tax they collect.

Amsterdam says the Spanish government lures in foreign businesses and celebs with desirable tax credits and incentives, then turns around years later and declares the certificates meaningless and hits them with astronomical tax bills.

The feds are projecting Sean "Diddy" Combs will be released from custody on May 8, 2028 ... but his attorney thinks he will be a free man even sooner.

We got Marc Agnifilo in New York City on Thursday and our photog asked him about the Bureau of Prisons estimating a release date for Diddy.

Marc, who delivered a stirring closing argument at Diddy's criminal trial this summer, says his feeling is Diddy will walk free before the date provided by the feds ... in part because he thinks Diddy will be a model citizen behind bars.

The women from "Selling Sunset" are bringing the drama from their reality show to their premiere party ... because Chrishell Stause and Chelsea Lazkani didn't get invitations -- and it was intentional.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Netflix did not have an official premiere party for "Selling Sunset" Season 9, but Bre Tiesi organized an event with her fellow cast members.

Chrishell and Chelsea got the short end of the stick here ... they were MIA from Wednesday night's party at Gravitas in Beverly Hills.
