Last night outside of Opera, a two-on-two brawl left one man knocked-out cold in the middle of the street -- while his buddy scrambled to his aid. Spring is almost here.

As he was leaving, someone was calling the rapper a poser, but an unprovoked Mams told our cameras he "doesn't like to fight in public." Ha!

We've obtained the incident report filed by security at the Graves 601 Hotel. According to one witness, Jefferson got in a "minor verbal disagreement" which escalated to the point where Jefferson was on top of the patron, allegedly choking him.

We're told the case will be closed today, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department will not refer it to the District Attorney for prosecution.

Phillip Roby, who had claimed Connolly jumped over a table and pummeled him in the head this weekend, filed a battery report against the "Entourage" star this afternoon. But just a few minutes ago, Roby told TMZ he just went to the Sheriff's Department and told them "never mind." He tells us he told deputies, "Look at me, I'm fine," adding that he doesn't want to pursue this any further.

Interestingly, cops tell TMZ someone claiming to be Roby called to drop it, but they said he had to do it in person and so far no one has shown up.

Phillip Roby filed a battery report at the L.A. County Sheriff's station in West Hollywood this afternoon, claiming Kevin Connolly (who plays Eric Murphy) and his real-life entourage pummeled him in the head inside Villa nightclub last Saturday night.

The Sheriffs tells TMZ detectives will investigate.

TMZ got shots of Roby outside of the club after the alleged incident. He says, "E from 'Entourage' is a bitch." He asks Sheriff's deputies about taking a report and they tell him to go to the station. You also hear someone -- possibly connected with the club -- telling Roby to "Shut the f**k up!"

So now we know who delivered that serious beatdown on Jesse Metcalfe -- none other than UK rapper wannabe, Mams Taylor! *crickets*

Uh ... who? Apparently, Mams is a British guy who supposedly owns real estate over here, but really wants to be a rapper. Our sources tell us he's "pseudo dating" Taryn Manning, who Jesse was seen talking to just moments before the punch out.

As for Jesse, he went back later on last night -- and jumped Mams inside a different club. Check out the pics!

It all went down outside the Nicole Khristine Jewelry launch at Boulevard 3 nightclub, after Jesse allegedly said something that pissed off a musclebound friend of actress Taryn Manning. The guy suddenly unleashed a ferocious blow that sent Metcalfe crumbling to the floor.

He wasn't alone in his defiance to pay; over the weekend TMZ caught one woman hilariously going bananas on a parking enforcement officer who ticketed her while she was still inside her car. Girl was not having it!

TMZ caught another all-out brawl on the streets near, you guessed it, Les Deux -- with two guys getting the crap kicked out of them on the sidewalk.

Even Phoenix Sun basketballer Shawn Marion laughed at the loon -- who had enough cuckoo to keep going after being kicked in the head! Perhaps it'll help?!
