Lamar Jackson's gotta be quite the thespian to land a gig on "Power Book III: Raising Kanan" ... 'cause an actor on the show tells TMZ Sports the show's casting crew isn't easily impressed!!

TMZ Sports caught up with actor/comedian London Brown at LAX recently ... after it was revealed the Baltimore Ravens QB did a scene in the series as "E-Tone," a character the MVP describes as "dangerous."

Brown is thrilled to see Jackson branching out ... and mentioned if executive producer 50 Cent is a fan, then Jackson should come back for more!!

Tyreek Hill's Wife's Mom 'Scared' 911 Call

Tyreek Hill's wife's mom dialed 911 on Monday to report the domestic dispute involving the NFL superstar and her daughter ... and in audio of the call, she can be heard telling dispatch she's "so scared."

Alesia Vaccaro placed the call at around 2 PM, according to a Sunny Isles Police Department incident report ... after Hill had gotten irritated with his partner, Keeta, inside their 35th-floor residence over a comment she had made about his parenting ability.

In the call -- which was first obtained by Andy Slater -- Alesia can be heard seemingly arguing with Hill and Keeta ... before turning her attention toward the dispatcher and saying, "they're blaming me for calling the police."

Tyreek Hill and his estranged wife, Keeta Hill, were captured on video during their alleged domestic dispute earlier this week.

The footage, obtained by WPLG Local 10, shows the Hills on the balcony of their 35th-floor residence on Monday afternoon ... as they allegedly quarreled over a comment Keeta had made about Tyreek's parenting efforts.

In the clip, you can see Keeta look down on the street below their Sunny Isles Beach, Fla. home ... before Tyreek -- with the couple's baby in his arms -- does the same.

Former Louisville linebacker P.J. Blue -- who was teammates with Lamar Jackson on the Cardinals -- has died at 27 years old, the school announced Tuesday.

"We are saddened by the passing of Cardinal Forever P.J. Blue," university officials said in a statement. "Our thoughts are with his loved ones."

Former NFL linebacker Dean Wells has passed away at 54 years old following a two-year battle with cancer.

One of his former teams, the Carolina Panthers, confirmed the reports of his death on Friday. He was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2023 ... and underwent a bone marrow transplant in May 2024.

He spoke to KSR about his fight against the disease ... saying while he was able to handle the variables on the football field, this was something he had no control over.

The criminal charges Leighton Vander Esch's father, Darwin, had been facing related to an alleged domestic violence incident have been dropped, TMZ Sports has learned.

Idaho County court records we obtained show everything was dismissed on March 27 ... after prosecutors said the alleged victim -- Leighton Vander Esch's mom, Sandy -- told them she no longer wanted to pursue the case.

"She stated that she is not in fear of the defendant," officials wrote in a motion to dismiss the matter, "and for the sake of family unity she informed your movant she wanted the charges dismissed."

Terrell Suggs Sentenced To Probation ... In Starbucks Threat Case

Terrell Suggs has just been sentenced to probation over allegations he waved a firearm at a man during a 2024 altercation at an Arizona Starbucks.

The former NFL superstar learned the punishment inside a Maricopa County courtroom on Tuesday morning.

The judge in the case ordered Suggs to 18 months of supervised probation -- but told the ex-Baltimore Ravens pass rusher he "can get off in half that time ... if you've done everything you're supposed to."
