Nate Burleson knows a thing or two about making the jump from the gridiron to the screen ... and he tells TMZ Sports he's got eyes on three players that he believes would be great TV -- including Joe Burrow!!

We caught up with the CBS analyst and host of "Hollywood Squares" in NOLA over Super Bowl weekend ... when we asked which current jocks he thinks could make the same transition he did in retirement.

NOLA legend Cam Jordan made the list ... with Burleson saying he is an "amazing talent." Alongside Burrow, he even mentioned his former LSU teammate and current Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

Brandon Aiyuk's a speed demon on the gridiron ... but, he had to go very slow earlier this week -- 'cause a cop pulled him over in a new car thinking he may have stolen it.

Here's the deal ... Aiyuk recently purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk -- an SUV valued at around $90K. He drove it straight off the truck, and he says within two miles a cop pulled him over.

Aiyuk filmed his chat with the cop ... who mentions the wide receiver was cited for driving unregistered Dodge Chargers in California -- cars the officer says are routinely a target for thieves.

Bill Maher has interesting guest fellows -- case in point, Kid Rock, who called out Jay-Z and the NFL for a Halftime show for being pretty much exclusionary -- of white entertainers.

Kid came out of the gate saying Kendrick Lamar wasn't his cup of tea, but he has mad respect for him because he's unapologetic about his craft. Kendrick doesn't care if a swath of the country isn't into him or even doesn't like him ... he does what he does, just like K.R. Kid Rock celebrated Kendrick, saying he doesn't give a "frog's fat ass" what people think.

But, then things turned ... Kid Rock said were it not for Colin Kaepernick taking a knee, Kendrick would never have ended up center stage at the Super Bowl.

"Last Chance U" star Isaiah Wright says he's been living in hell thanks to the way he was portrayed in the hit Netflix show ... telling TMZ Sports he wants to defend his name after filing a lawsuit against the people behind the series.

We broke the story -- Wright and other notable former East Mississippi CC players filed docs this week ... claiming they were pressured to participate in the show, just to have their images ruined with clever editing.

Wright -- a standout running back on the first two seasons of the show -- and his attorney, Andrew Green, pointed at several instances that didn't depict the real Isaiah ... but one major scene damaged his character far beyond his football career.

Bad news for NFL fans hoping this was the last Eagles championship for a while ... LeSean McCoy tells TMZ Sports it's very possible Philadelphia goes on a dynastic run from here.

The former Birds tailback said out at LAX just a few days after Philly pounded Kansas City in Super Bowl LIX that he could see at least one more championship on the horizon for his old team.

He praised the squad's O-line and defense ... and called Saquon Barkley "amazing." He added that A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts' other weapons are great too.

King Charles picked up a pigskin and tossed it around for the first time (football's hella popular in the UK, but not that football) ... so, how's His Majesty's arm?!

TMZ Sports talked to Washington Commanders' DE Efe Obada -- who spent time with the monarch on the field at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this week -- and even found time to show the King how to throw a football.

The Philadelphia Eagles' Super Bowl celebration took a tragic turn Friday ... cops say two people were injured by gunfire while enjoying the parade.

The Philadelphia Police Department said in a statement to TMZ Sports a 27-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman were both shot in the lower body at around 2:35 PM -- just a few blocks from where Eagles players addressed the thousands that had gathered to soak in the team's Super Bowl LIX victory over the Chiefs.

Cops tell us both victims were transported to a nearby hospital ... where, thankfully, they're now in stable condition.

11:44 AM PT -- Howie Roseman's clearly doing fine ... he just addressed the Philadelphia crowd with the Lombardi Trophy in his hand and yelled, "I bleed for this city!"

Howie Roseman apparently needs some pass-catching pointers from A.J. Brown ... 'cause the Eagles exec just sustained a facial injury out at Philadelphia's Super Bowl parade following a failed beer can toss.

Check out some photos of the Philly general manager on Friday ... he's walking the parade route with a big ole gash on his forehead -- after he reportedly couldn't snag a flying alcohol container from a fan.

Thankfully, while the wound looks gnarly, Roseman's remained in great spirits. He's actually been spotted with a smile on his face ... and a stogie in his mouth!

C.J. Gardner-Johnson's feud with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift is still raging on ... he's currently out firing more shots at the duo with his wardrobe at the Eagles' Super Bowl parade.

It's finally happening ... Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles and blazing-fast NFL star Tyreek Hill are set to settle their beef on the track -- with the two agreeing to race each other this offseason to determine who has the better wheels!

Speaking with People, the guys announced the race would take place sometime before the U.S. Championships begin in July, where Lyles will be competing. It remains unclear where they'll race.

"This has been an ongoing thing for, quite some time now, and I mean, everybody's seen the back and forth on social media," Hill told the outlet. "I've been very adamant to show people what real, true speed looks like."

Birds supporters are out in full throat in the City of Brotherly Love Friday for their Super Bowl parade ... and a few of them are choosing to fuel up for the holiday with some roasted pig that features some shade aimed at their SB LIX opponent, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Check it out ... the dead swine that Eagles fans cooked up just before the title celebrations kick off at the Philadelphia Museum of Art is Patrick Mahomes-themed -- it's got a No. 15 carved into it, plus a furry wig on its head, too!

If Eli Manning needs some advice on how to handle a Hall of Fame slight -- Antonio Gates is offering it up!

The legendary Charger -- who was inducted into the 2025 class last week after being snubbed for the 2024 one just 12 months ago -- told TMZ Sports out at the Super Bowl in New Orleans that while he's sure Eli's feeling heartbreak right now ... the former signal-caller just needs to stay positive.

Gates told us that after he was shockingly barred from getting a bust in Canton ... he headed into the ensuing year focused on being "the best version of me" -- and he thinks that attitude helped him get in this go-around.

Kadarius Toney on Thursday appeared to address his recent arrest -- writing on his social media page that people "will believe anything" about him as "long as it's bad."

The two-time Super Bowl champion threw the message up on his Instagram Stories -- in a caption on a picture of him wearing a mask and a hat.

Toney also stated on the photo that "Mfs say anything when they think they right" ... before he deleted the post minutes later.

Aaron Rodgers' time with the New York Jets is officially over -- the team made the announcement it was moving on from the four-time MVP on Thursday ... saying it was time to move in a different direction at quarterback.

Newly-hired head coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey released a joint statement on the decision minutes ago ... saying they met with AR8 last week and let him know of their plans.

"It was important to have this discussion now to provide clarity and enable each of us the proper time to plan for our respective futures."

Three men believed to be connected to the Joe Burrow burglary have been hit with more charges, prosecutors announced this week ... with additional images being released of their photo shoot with the quarterback's alleged stolen jewelry.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Connie Pillich said Jordan Sanchez, Bastian Morales and Sergio Cabello were indicted on first-degree felony engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and second-degree felony burglary charges.

A fourth individual spotted alongside the suspects with the alleged stolen stuff was not charged ... as prosecutors said they could not tie him to being at Burrow's home during the burglary.

Saquon Barkley is taking some of the NFL's biggest fans to task ... slamming them for booing Taylor Swift at last weekend's Super Bowl.

The Philadelphia superstar raced to the "Bad Blood" singer's defense on "The Howard Stern Show" on Wednesday when the topic of Travis Kelce's girlfriend came up ... letting the world know he didn't love the jeers he heard her get at the Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday.

"I don't get it," the running back told Stern. "I don't get why she was getting hate there. She's just there supporting her significant other."
