Honey Boo Boo's dad is doing just fine, TMZ has learned ... following rumors he died in a tragic car accident.

And, we even have video to prove it! Check it out -- Mike Thompson says in the clip recorded Saturday he's "alive and well" ... just living life "day by day" in Georgia. Phew!

You may have seen ... there were some unsubstantiated social media rumors that he had passed away earlier this week. Honey Boo Boo -- real name Alana Thompson -- didn't feed into the chatter.

Mike shares Alana with June "Mama June" Shannon. They split in 2014 and don't have a relationship at this point. He is also estranged from Alana.

T.J. Watt's sudden lung issue freaked out a lot of people, including Steelers legend Brett "Da Beard" Keisel, who tells TMZ Sports he's hoping for a quick and full recovery so the defensive monster can return to the field ASAP!!

We spoke with the two-time Super Bowl champion this week ... shortly after Watt had surgery on his partially collapsed lung following a dry needling treatment at the Steelers' practice facility.

Watt -- former NFL Defensive Player of the Year -- will miss at least the December 15 "Monday Night Football" matchup ... and Keisel has his fingers crossed his recovery doesn't take too long, while still prioritizing his full health.

After Andy Dick's drug overdose this week provoked panicked concern among friends, he's checked himself into rehab … Dick himself tells TMZ.

Andy tells TMZ he is currently entering a rehabilitation facility in the Palm Springs, California area.

Andy was very animated on the phone with us … he's cracking jokes and it's clear he's ready to commit to clean up … he tells us he's grateful to be getting help.

Andy tells us … "Jenny Gimenez is my sister who saved me with Tim” … Tim Ryan is Jen’s husband. They’re both sober.

Jennifer was on "Celebrity Rehab" with Andy. They’ve been friends for 20 years.

Dr. Drew says he is "scared" for Andy Dick following his apparent overdose this week -- but says not all hope is gone ... and Andy simply needs to be ready for change.

Check out our clip -- TMZ caught up with the famous doc after we broke the news of what appeared to be Andy overdosing on the street in Hollywood a few days back ... after which he told us he doesn't plan to enter rehab.

Dr. Drew has a long history with the famous comedian and has helped him get treatment several times for his substance abuse struggles, and tells us he and Andy's loved ones are scared "to death" about his situation, adding ... "This is a life-threatening illness. It's a progressive illness that ends in death."

T.J. Watt underwent surgery on Thursday to repair and stabilize a partially collapsed lung after a dry needling treatment session at the Pittsburgh Steelers facility ... his brother, J.J., announced on Friday.

Watt shared the news on social media after the team announced he was admitted to the hospital with a health scare. While no recovery timeline is currently available, he is expected to be released from the hospital on Friday.

"He and his family are very appreciative of everyone's kind words and well wishes," J.J. said.

Aubrey O’Day had a recent medical scare ... and that's the reason she had to skip the Danity Kane reunion show Wednesday in Los Angeles, a stop on the group's comeback tour.

It wasn’t until she saw two different pelvic floor therapists that endometriosis was even floated as a possible cause of her pain -- which pushed her to demand an MRI -- finally leading to the real diagnosis.

T.J. Watt experienced a health scare at the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice facility on Wednesday ... and was hospitalized with a lung issue.

Steelers spokesman Burt Lauten shared the concerning news on Thursday, stating the linebacker is at a medical facility for further medical evaluation after experiencing "discomfort" during practice.

"He will not be at practice on Thursday," Lauten said, "and his status for Monday night's game vs. Miami is in question."

A Florida man is getting the help he desperately needs ... after a video of him getting hit by a car while running through traffic went viral.

As you can see in the video ... the unidentified man is hit by a car as he jogs through a busy intersection ... but he pops right back up and keeps trotting.

Miami police tell TMZ ... the incident happened Monday -- and the unidentified man was placed under Florida's Baker Act, an involuntary temporary mental health hold.

Apparently, Dynzell Sigers would rather die than be a short king ... because the Georgia man went through months of pain and therapy to have his limbs dramatically lengthened to be taller.

Sigers stopped by "TMZ Live" Wednesday, and he revealed the procedure's possible side effects include death. Check out the video ... he talks about doctors breaking bones in the leg and inserting a rod to connect the broken pieces. Over time the rod is stretched, which also stretches the bone. Dynzell said each procedure requires at least 3 months of recovery.

Popular Australian food influencer Stacey Hatfield died from postpartum hemorrhaging ... according to testimony given in court Wednesday.

The influencer's cause of death was revealed during a court hearing looking into the circumstances of Hatfield's death, according to the Australian Broadcasting Company. Hatfield was with her husband, Nathan Warnecke, and a "birth support worker" when she gave birth to her son in September.

Despite the successful delivery of the baby -- the child survived -- Hatfield's condition declined and an ambulance was called.

TMZ has exclusively obtained video of Andy slumped over on cement stairs outside a building in Hollywood in broad daylight Tuesday. As you can see, Andy is completely out of it, with his signature spectacles lying on the ground in front of him.

Eyewitnesses tell us several of Andy's friends ran up to try to revive him. One happened to be live-streaming as he approached, and screamed at Andy to "wake up" ... while others called for an ambulance.
