Georgia Grandma 2-Year-Old Grandson's Drowning Death Leads To Criminal Charges
A grandmother in Georgia is facing manslaughter and cruelty to children charges after her 2-year-old grandson drowned in a pool, police said.
Emelisa Paz-Santos was booked Wednesday in the Fulton County Jail on those two charges, while Immigration Customs Enforcement also put a detainer on her, according to official online records.
Roswell PD says 2-year-old Axel Delgado drowned in a clubhouse pool on the night of June 21. Police also say first responders raced to the scene and performed live-saving measures before transporting the child to a hospital where he died.

In court docs obtained by TMZ, Nicki argues she has nothing to do with the money allegedly owed to 24/7 Productions ... at least on a personal level. Nicki says the only contract at issue in the lawsuit is one allegedly between the production company that filed the suit and her company, Pink Friday Productions LLC.
Nicki says it's basic law that an individual member of a company isn't responsible for the debts of the company ... so he's asking the judge to dismiss the case against her and wants 24/7 to fork over her attorney's fees she spent fighting the lawsuit!
Karmelo Anthony Attorney Slams Trial Judge
A new judge has been assigned to oversee the ongoing proceedings in Karmelo Anthony's murder case ... as the convicted murderer's new lawyer calls foul on his trial judge.
The new judge, Sid L. Harle, was assigned to Karmelo's case Tuesday, per court records obtained by WFAA. Harle will preside over Karmelo's motion to recuse trial Judge John Roach from handling post-trial proceedings.
Karmelo's new attorney, Russell Wilson, is blasting the trial judge ... claiming Roach made comments following Karmelo's conviction that showed he could not be fair and unbiased.
Wilson also claims "gentleman's agreements" made between attorneys about what testimony would be admissible weren't completely followed, and that impacted Karmelo's decision not to testify and therefore impacted the outcome of the trial.

Stefon Diggs Fires Back at Ex-Pal He Believes Stole His Ferrari As Duo Battles in Court
NFL star Stefon Diggs is dealing with another lawsuit … this time brought by a man who claims the NFL star falsely claimed he stole his Ferrari and had his friends attack him, TMZ has learned.
According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Stefon asked a judge to put the brakes on the case filed by Nigel King. he argued the other defendants had yet to be served … and he cannot properly defend himself without the others being involved.
Nigel sued Stefon, Stefon’s brother Darez Diggs, and three of their friends in Florida court in February.
Taylor Frankie Paul Kids At Center of Abuse, Neglect Court Petition
Taylor Frankie Paul is facing a new legal battle ... 'cause Utah's Division of Child and Family Services has filed a petition asking a juvenile court to find her three children are "abused, neglected or dependent" and order protective supervision ... TMZ has learned.
According to court docs, obtained by TMZ ... Utah DCFS filed the petition this week, asking the court to take jurisdiction over the "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star's children with ex-husband Tate Paul and ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen and set the matter for an expedited hearing.
The filing asks a judge to find the children meet Utah's legal definition of "abused, neglected or dependent children" and to order protective supervision services, appoint a guardian ad litem to represent the children and issue any additional orders deemed to be in their best interests.
The petition also references the family's prior history with DCFS and ongoing custody matters involving the fathers of Taylor's children as part of the agency's request for court intervention.

"Dancing with the Stars" pro Gleb Savchenko has filed a request for an emergency child custody order as he claims his ex has kept their kids in Hong Kong since 2023 ... TMZ has learned.
According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, Gleb shares two daughters, Olivia and Zlata, with his ex-wife Elena Samodanova ... and following their divorce, the girls relocated to Hong Kong with their mother.
But Gleb claims they agreed the move was only meant to be temporary and the kids were supposed to return to the United States by June 30, 2024 ... that never happened, and he now says Elena refuses to send them back.

The officers say they arrived at the home and found Kim in the basement. The report says Kim screamed at the cops to "get the f*** out of my house."
Alleged Killer Mom Lindsay Clancy Postpartum Moms Want To Help Me Win My Case
The Massachusetts mom accused of brutally murdering her three young children wants a group of mothers who say they've battled postpartum depression and psychosis to help with her insanity defense ... saying numerous women have come forward offering to testify at her murder trial.
According to new court docs, obtained by TMZ, Lindsay Clancy's attorney says the mothers contacted him to share their own experiences with postpartum mental illness -- including thoughts of killing themselves or others, hearing voices, and feeling ordered by those voices to act.
Lindsay's defense is now asking the judge for permission to present testimony from the women at trial ... arguing such testimony would show jurors the symptoms are very real and not simply "made up" to dodge responsibility for a crime.

In a statement to TMZ, Dr. Dias' attorney -- Robert Eisfelder -- says his client denies Lia Jones' allegations and claims her latest filing ignores a lengthy history between the former couple. The attorney says the court previously awarded Colin sole legal and physical custody of the couple's two minor children and contends the children have been "thriving" while in his care. Eisfelder claims Lia is seeking to modify the existing custody orders at a hearing scheduled for July 28.

The Davie Police Department just released images of the alleged injuries Geno Smith and his female employee sustained during an incident at his home ... fresh off the investigation being put on ice due to a lack of evidence.
In the pictures, Smith had three visible marks on his face ... and cops stated the New York Jets quarterback also had a bump on his head, although it's hard to spot in the snapshot taken at the scene.
As for the woman, there was a bloody abrasion between her thumb and index finger. She also had a notable bruise on her arm.

An Idaho woman charged with killing her 18-month-old twins and then blaming their deaths on vaccinations had a medical professional in her corner for a bond hearing ... but it didn't end up working.
Here's the deal ... Andrea Shaw faces two counts of first-degree murder after she allegedly suffocated her kids in May 2025 and then claimed they died due to adverse reactions to routine vaccinations.
According to reports, Shaw's bond was initially set at $2 million ... and her lawyer argued for a drastic reduction to $100K on Wednesday -- but the judge ended up revoking her bond entirely.
