Brenda Fricker, the Oscar-winning actress who is best known to so many fans as the Pigeon Lady in "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York," has died ... TMZ has confirmed.

Her agent, Phil Belfield, tells TMZ ... Fricker passed away peacefully Thursday night in Dublin, after a period of ill health.

He says ... "We will never see her like again and the world is lesser for the lack of her. I was honored to know, love and work with her and she will always have a place in my heart and in the heart of so many film and TV fans the world over."

"The Odyssey" stars made the long journey through a sea of cameras in New York City for their movie premiere ... with Travis Scott leading the way.

The rapper -- who plays the poet Demodocus in the Christopher Nolan flick -- looked ready to charge into battle ... armored in a sleek black jacket and pants with Greek soldiers walking behind him.

Zendaya looked angelic -- literally ... stunning in an all-white ensemble with a pair of angel wings attached to her back.

Creepy coincidence at Creep I.E. Con -- both Tori Spelling and Hayden Panettiere canceled their appearances at the event just hours apart from one another.

Both actresses were set to appear at the horror event Creep I.E. Aftermath in Ontario, California, between Saturday and Sunday, but their appearances were canceled Friday just hours apart, with the event organizer blaming an unknown "emergency" for each star.

TMZ has reached out to their respective reps ... so far, no word back.

American actress and stuntwoman Susan Backlinie was 27 years old when she rose to fame as the shark attack victim in the opening scene of Steven Spielberg's 1975 blockbuster "Jaws."

Susan shared the big screen with Richard Dreyfuss, Roy Scheider, and Lorraine Gary.

The director of Armie Hammer's upcoming film "Citizen Vigilante" is calling BS on a report claiming the actor hated the final product ... telling us it all stems from criticism about his polarizing movie.

Uwe Boll tells TMZ ... Armie attended the distributor's screening of the film at the American Film Market, participated in multiple interviews promoting the film ... and even led the Q&A at the film's first public screening in Los Angeles.

Doesn't sound like someone who hated the film.

The German director says a recent report from Puck -- citing sources claiming Armie was appalled by the final cut and even "cried" because the final product was "hateful" and "disgusting" -- is false.

The Hollywood Bowl looked more like Motunui for the "Moana" premiere ... and that's largely thanks to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson taking over the stage with a Polynesian dance!

Check it out ... The Rock took center stage at the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday for the premiere of the live-action Disney flick ... where he showed off his dance moves in a traditional Pacific ceremony.

The actor and pro wrestler's Lavalava was woven in beige and red colors, with an ornate black, white, and maroon fringe at the hip ... and that wasn't the only eye-catching part of his outfit!

Wes Anderson and Luke Wilson had a less-than-picture-perfect Monday night ... the talented duo got stuck in an elevator at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures ... and they needed fire fighters to free them!!!

Check out the video shared by a production specialist, Carolyn Dunn -- you can see Wes, Luke, director James L. Brooks, and at least 3 others being freed from the elevator, surrounded by members of the Los Angeles Fire Department. Wes eventually asks what happened ... and the LAFD says there was too much weight in the elevator -- oops!

LAFD tells TMZ ... they responded to a call for a stuck elevator -- elevator C, to be exact -- at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures at 7:49 PM. We're told Wes, Luke and co. were trapped for less than an hour.

Armie Hammer is itching for his Hollywood comeback after sexual assault allegations derailed his career ... but he's allegedly appalled by his new film garnering quite some buzz -- for all the wrong reasons.

Armie stars in "Citizen Vigilante," which dropped last month and was helmed by German director Uwe Boll, who doesn't have a reputation for being a particularly acclaimed filmmaker. The controversial film was even banned from Germany for its strong anti-immigration and anti-Muslim messaging. However, it landed at the top of Apple and Amazon after Elon Musk shared the entire film on X.

According to an insider in Armie's camp, he cried when he watched the final cut for the first time, blasting it as "hateful" and "disgusting" ... per Puck's Kim Masters, who sat down with Armie in 2024 as he toyed with the idea of doing an on-the-record interview with the outlet.

Zendaya just showed up to the 'Odyssey' premiere in Paris ... and she definitely made a fashion statement ... with an odd mask.

Jodie Foster took an unexpected jab at Brad Pitt ... saying in a recent interview his blockbuster film "F1" is simply an A.I.-manufactured flick.

The Oscar-winning actress made the remark -- which she said meant no offense -- while talking to former Sony Pictures CEO Michael Lynton at the Aspen Festival of Ideas, per Variety.

The actress said in part with her accusation ... "I mean, the structure was exactly the structure that you would learn in school. The actors say the lines exactly the way it would be written if a computer was writing exactly what would be the right thing for that time. And they were able to dominate the technology to make something big and beautiful and potentially where a lot of the information comes from other places.”

Kjell Nilsson, who played Lord Humungus in the classic "Mad Max 2" film, has died.

Chris Carbaugh, Kjell's rep, tells TMZ ... the actor died Thursday in Queensland, Australia, surrounded by family after a four-year battle with kidney disease.

The Swedish-born Kjell was an Olympic-class weightlifter ... which came in handy when he was cast as the terrifying, metal-masked Lord Humungus in "Mad Max 2" -- known in America as "The Road Warrior."
