D4vd says the music video for his most famous song brings to life an idea he had ... about a detective solving murders his alter ego commits ... and he's comparing himself to Brad Pitt in "Fight Club."

The singer -- who is facing questions over his connection to the body of a teen girl found dead in his car -- explained the bloody and violent imagery in the "Romantic Homicide" music vid ... he says it introduces his alter ego, Itami, a name that is Japanese for "pain."

D4vd sat down with Mahogany back in March to talk about the visual world he builds with his music videos ... and his comments are being scrutinized now that police say they found missing teen Celeste Rivas' decomposing and chopped-up body in the trunk of his Tesla.

A head-turning comment accusing D4vd of "messing with" a young teen has been discovered under one of his February 2024 TikTok posts ... as police continue to investigate the death of teenager Celeste Rivas, whose body was found in a Tesla registered to the singer's name.

Check out a comment left under D4vd's February 25, 2024 TikTok post -- it's a person who claims they're waiting for the LAPD to "get" the musician "for messing with a 13-year-old girl."

The Los Angeles Police Department has been investigating Celeste's death -- and even searched the home D4vd has been renting for 12 hours last week -- but have not named him as a suspect in the case.

The death investigation surrounding D4vd about teenager Celeste Rivas hasn't hurt the singer's career in the slightest ... it's actually contributed to his career zenith!!!

Friends, family and community members gathered Sunday night in Lake Elsinore, California to honor and mourn Celeste Rivas ... the teen whose dismembered body was discovered in the trunk of a famous singer's car.

While the tour dates on his official website are still posted, the pages linked to purchase tickets reveal the events have been canceled.

The event page for his Amsterdam show also includes a statement from the venue's management, reading ... "The d4vd concert at Paradiso is canceled due to unknown circumstances. Refunds will be issued at point of purchase."

Check out this message an admin just fired off to members of D4vd's Discord server ... it says they weren't aware of Celeste's true age or that she was a missing person.

For the record ... Celeste's 15th birthday was the day before she was found dead in D4vd's car ... and in April 2024 she was reported missing.
