UPDATE

11:11 AM PT -- In a new statement, the Pima County Sheriff's Department widened the time frame of recorded video they're seeking from cameras in the Tucson area.

The department states ... "Investigators are requesting all video footage that includes vehicles, vehicle traffic, people/pedestrians, and anything neighbors deem out of the ordinary or important to our investigation from January 1, 2026 - February 2, 2026."

The department sent an alert through the Neighbors App to users within a 2-mile radius of Nancy Guthrie’s residence.

Investigators in the Nancy Guthrie kidnapping case are reportedly asking residents to turn over any footage they may have on their doorbell cameras from two days last month.

The FBI and Pima County sheriff's deputies made the request Wednesday to people living near Nancy's home in the Catalina Foothills, a suburb of Tucson, Arizona, according to TV stations KVOA and KOLD.

The authorities specifically want to view video from January 11 between 9 PM and midnight, and from January 31 between 9:30 AM and 11 AM, the stations reported. The outlets add that a suspicious vehicle was spotted around 10 AM on January 31 on Via Entrada road, which is close to Nancy's home in the Foothills. No description of the vehicle was provided.

An FBI agent plucked the glove from the side of a road about 1.5 miles from Nancy's Tucson-area house ... The Post was the first to report the discovery.

Yesterday, the FBI released images and video of the alleged kidnapper, wearing a ski mask, a backpack, and gloves ... which appeared to be black. The person also had what looked like a holstered gun on the front of their waist.

Nancy Guthrie Case New Note Demands 1 Bitcoin to Rat Out Suspect

There's a new note in the Nancy Guthrie case, but this one doesn't seem to be from the kidnapper ... instead, it's from someone offering to give up information on the kidnapper.

ANOTHER MYSTERIOUS LETTER

TMZ received the note just before 5 AM PT, and the sender claims they've tried unsuccessfully to reach Savannah Guthrie's brother, Camron, and her sister, Annie, by email and text. The note goes on, "If they want the name of the individual involved then I want 1 Bitcoin to the following wallet. Time is more than relevant."

There is a legitimate bitcoin address in the note ... and it is a different address from the one in the original ransom note, received by TMZ and 2 Tucson TV news stations.

We have forwarded this note to the FBI.

It's unclear if the sender of this note is legit, but interestingly, 1 bitcoin is worth about $66,000 right now. You'll recall law enforcement is currently offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to Nancy's kidnappers.

This comes less than 24 hours after a flurry of activity in the case -- on Tuesday, the FBI released the first images of the armed individual who showed up on Nancy's doorstep early in the morning of Feb. 1, the day she was taken.

Then, in the evening, cops detained a person of interest ... a deliveryman who was pulled over in a Tucson suburb. After questioning him, though, law enforcement released the man, who told reporters he didn't even know who Nancy was.

DETAILS OF DETAINMENT

The DoorDash deliveryman released Tuesday night after the FBI detained and questioned him in connection with Nancy Guthrie's abduction is speaking out ... telling the world he's not the kidnapper!

The deliveryman, named Carlos, told a scrum of reporters he didn't know who Nancy was until he came face-to-face with FBI agents and Pima County sheriff deputies in Rio Rico, Arizona ... about 60 miles south of Tucson.

Carlos told journalists he noticed law enforcement following his vehicle Tuesday evening as he drove down a road in Rio Rico near his home, pulling over on his own accord.

The deliveryman -- who works for DoorDash and GLS -- says the authorities promptly detained him and questioned him for hours about his recent whereabouts. But Carlos insists he's totally innocent and has nothing to do with Guthrie's abduction ... saying he feels like he was kidnapped himself.

Nancy Guthrie Investigation First Images of Potential Subject Released

We now have the first videos and images of a person of interest in Nancy Guthrie's abduction from her Tucson, Arizona home more than a week ago.

The images appear to be taken by a Nest camera from Nancy's front door and show what appears to be a holstered gun on the front of the person's waistband ... as you know, Nancy's blood was later found on the front stoop.

The male individual is wearing heavy duty rubber gloves and a backpack ... and he's tampering with the camera on the morning of Nancy's disappearance, according to FBI Director Kash Patel.

Nancy Guthrie First Activity in Bitcoin Account ... Kidnapper is From Tucson, Law Enforcement Believes

Published | Updated

We've seen activity for the first time in the Bitcoin account listed in the first ransom note which was sent to us here at TMZ, and also to 2 TV stations in Tucson. For various reasons, we are not going to reveal the amount, but the activity happened in the last 25 minutes.

Potentially big development in the Nancy Guthrie abduction ... our law enforcement sources say whoever kidnapped her from her Arizona home is also from the Tucson area.

Multiple sources involved in the investigation tell TMZ ... the operating theory is that the ransom notes were written by the kidnapper, and those notes provide clues on where the abductor lives.

TMZ has focused for several days on the alleged kidnapper's choice of media outlets to receive the letters. The first letter was sent to 2 Tucson TV stations and TMZ. The second letter was sent to only one of the Tucson stations.

Our law enforcement sources believe the person who wrote the ransom note was very familiar with the local stations ... so much so that it leads them to believe the Tucson area is the abductor's home.

Check out the photo yourself -- a screenshot from a video taken by Fox News on Friday shows a white floodlight on the right side of the Tucson, Arizona home's blue door. On Saturday, footage shows there is no longer a white fixture next to the same door.
