Luka Doncic is making his presence felt in an amazing way before even debuting for the Lakers ... by donating $500K to help his new city of Los Angeles recover after the wildfires.
The 5-time All-Star -- who was traded to the Lakers in a blockbuster deal last weekend -- revealed the generous contribution on Monday ... expressing how heartbreaking it was to witness the damage the blazes left behind since his arrival.
The fires, which occurred from January 7th to the 31st, killed 29 people ... and others remain missing. Over 57k acres were burned, including more than 18k structures that were either damaged or destroyed.

Jordan was taken to a DUI testing facility in Orange County, Fla. a short time after he was placed into custody following allegations he drunkenly got his Lamborghini SUV stuck on some Maitland train tracks ... and cops say he acted like a jerk the entire time he was there.
According to the Orange County Sheriff's Office documents we obtained, Jordan refused to take breath tests ... and "aggressively and repeatedly" pulled away from officers.

New police video, obtained by TMZ Sports, shows Marcus Jordan name-dropped his famous father to cops in an apparent effort to get out of trouble before his arrest on Tuesday morning.
The footage was captured on Maitland Police Department officers' body cameras at 1:14 AM ... right around the time cops first discovered Marcus and a woman inside a blue Lamborghini SUV that had gotten stuck on some train tracks.
Initially, you can see in the video that Jordan tried to move the car off the railway with his foot on the gas ... but when the pricey ride's tires spun in place no matter how hard he pressed, cops asked him to get out of the vehicle.
