Drew Struzan -- the legendary artist who created hand-illustrated posters for blockbuster film classics like "Star Wars" and "Harry Potter" -- has died at 78.

Moderators of Struzan’s official Instagram posted that he died Monday, adding ... "I feel it is important that you all know how many times he expressed to me the joy he felt knowing how much you appreciated his art."

No official cause of death has been announced, though it was confirmed back in April that Struzan had been battling Alzheimer’s for some time.

A night out turned into tragedy in South Carolina, after gunfire erupted at a packed bar, leaving 4 people dead and at least 20 injured.

According to law enforcement, the shooting broke out late Saturday night into early Sunday at Willie's Bar & Grill on St. Helena Island, where hundreds of people were gathered. When first responders arrived, they found a large, chaotic crowd and multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Authorities say four victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while four others are fighting for their lives in critical condition at the hospital.

The mass shooting in Leland, Mississippi Friday night wasn't the only one in the state ... police say there were two more shootings in different towns.

Cops say after the dust settled from the three shooting incidents, a total of 8 people were dead and around a dozen were injured.

The worst of the shootings took place in Leland, where reportedly 6 people were shot to death and at least 10 were wounded during a street celebration for Leland High School's homecoming weekend.

The explosion at an ammunition plant in Tennessee left no survivors ... and Sheriff Chris Davis teared up when delivering the heartbreaking news.

In a press conference Saturday, authorities said they did not find any of the 18 people who went missing in the blast ... and were instead looking to identify their remains.

Frydnes said, "This committee sits in a room filled with the portraits of all laureates, and that room is filled with both courage and integrity. We base only our decision on the work and the will of Alfred Nobel."

President Donald Trump fell short of winning the Nobel Peace Prize despite helping broker the recent Israeli-Hamas ceasefire deal and lobbying for the prestigious award with his Republican base.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee passed over Trump and handed the prize to Venezuelan politician María Corina Machado “for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.”

Trump's rep, Steven Cheung, blasted the decision, writing on X that “the Nobel Committee proved they place politics over peace” by not recognizing Trump.
