The family of the doodle Jameson, who was shot to death by an LAPD officer last Saturday, has torn the "reckless" officer apart after bodycam footage showed them shooting the pup multiple times ... even after he was down.

Jameson's owners, Marie Marseille and Jeremiah Garcia, called the incident "unnecessary and profoundly dangerous" via their attorney, Brett Greenfield ... and questioned the judgement of the officer in a statement to TMZ.

They slammed ... "Throughout the encounter, the officer repeatedly used profanity, focused on the dog’s size, and displayed an aggressive attitude during what was supposed to be a welfare check."

Karmelo Anthony can be heard wailing to police as he's detained for stabbing Austin Metcalf at their 2025 high school track meet in Frisco, Texas ... and it's all on video in newly released bodycam footage.

Check out the emotional clip -- Karmelo is crying out to police that Austin touched him after he warned him not to ... seemingly trying to justify the stabbing. As you know, Karmelo used a self-defense claim during his murder trial, alleging that he had to protect himself because Austin made physical contact with him first.

The bodycam video goes on to show that Karmelo calmed down and was being compliant with Frisco police officers as they searched his person during his initial detainment. He also confirmed he's not an "alleged suspect" ... straight out admitting, "I did it."

7:11 PM PT -- Mayor Karen Bass released the following statement after the footage dropped ... “What I saw on the bodycam footage is disturbing and tragic. The Chief and I agreed that it was important to release the bodycam footage swiftly. While the investigation is ongoing, I am very concerned about why shots were fired and Jameson was killed. This shooting makes clear that while LAPD provides officers with written guidance on the use of force and pets, this is not enough."

She added ... “I have directed the Police Commission President and the Chief to examine the Department's Use of Force policy on Dog Encounters to determine best practices from around the country, and use this opportunity to update the LAPD's overall tactics, policies, and training related to the use of lethal force to increase safety for everyone – officers, Angelenos and their pets.”

An officer fired not once, but four times, in the controversial fatal shooting of the Canoga Park dog, Jameson, on Saturday.

The LAPD just released the bodycam footage from the officer who killed Marie Marseille's golden retriever, Saint Bernard, and poodle mix ... and it's difficult to watch.

When officers first approach Marie's apartment, she cracks the door ... and Jameson pokes his head out and barks.

The court released shocking photos, videos, 911 calls, and other evidence from Karmelo's trial ... where he was sentenced to 35 years in prison for murdering Austin Metcalf.

This includes a security camera video that shows the murder scene moments before Karmelo fatally stabbed Austin.

The dog's family tells TMZ his owner, Marie Marseille, has hired an attorney as an investigation is underway over the shocking shooting of the beloved 2-year-old poodle mix named Jameson on Saturday ... and she's ready to put up a fight against the LAPD so Jameson gets justice.

The attorney, Brett Greenfield, tells TMZ ... "If the LAPD does not address this appropriately relating to the officer and my client, I will be filing a lawsuit. We play to win, it's just that simple. We are not happy about this."

The mother of the little girls who were with their father when an irate man confronted them in a gas station bathroom is mad -- and she just unloaded on both men from the viral encounter.

Zoe Lavely, the ex of Tyler Brodsky, and mom of the girls, said in a lengthy Facebook post ... the man who lost his s*** was outrageous, and Tyler handled that well.

Elena Katherine Moore -- a personal trainer in South Carolina who had been missing since last Thursday -- is confirmed to be dead, authorities announced Friday.

According to Lexington officials ... the body found on Wednesday had been officially identified as Moore. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday ... and authorities anticipate a cause and manner of death to be released on Monday.

Police said Wednesday ... the clothing on the body matched what Moore was wearing when she went missing ... but the coroner would need to identify if it was her.

1:42 PM PT -- The court ruled against Tyler's request ... and ruled against his roommate testifying in-person.

Tyler Robinson, the man accused of killing Charlie Kirk, wants his roommate and alleged lover as an in-person witness in his murder case ... TMZ has learned.

As you know, Robinson has been charged with allegedly shooting and killing Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University in September.

New legal docs, obtained by TMZ, indicate Tyler's roomie, Lance Twiggs, could testify in the murder case.

The Mississippi man who got into it with a dad over bringing his two girls into a women's bathroom may have lost his job ... but he's not going to be arrested or cited by the police, TMZ has learned.

An ex-juvenile probation officer in Florida is in a ton of trouble … facing over 100 felony charges after allegedly leaking info to a drug ring.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says Crystal Lawson -- who previously worked for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice -- was arrested for using database access from her former job to tip off members of a drug trafficking organization about their cases.

The OCSO claims Crystal would use the Comprehensive Case Information System to find "active criminal cases" and use information she found in the system to "warn members of a drug trafficking organization that investigators were closing in and had secured arrest warrants."

The neighbor who dialed 911 before LAPD shot and killed a family's dog is speaking out ... apologizing profusely for ever getting cops involved.

ABC7 -- a local affiliate out in Los Angeles -- spoke to the neighbor, who is remaining anonymous amid alleged ongoing threats they have received ... and they say they only called police because they couldn't get in contact with a screaming woman inside a residence.

The Mississippi man who called police on a father trying to help his young girls in a women's gas station restroom has gone viral -- and it just cost him his realtor gig, TMZ has learned.

A rep with his real estate agency tells TMZ ... the man was an independent contractor and licensed realtor on a trip not affiliated with the company ... and since the bathroom video made national headlines ... the company decided to no longer use his services -- because their “values” don't align.

Italian Prime ​Minister Giorgia Meloni says President Trump is full of crap ... because there's no way she "begged" him for a photo together at the G7 summit, despite Trump's claim.

A former science teacher who allegedly sexually assaulted six teens in Georgia was blackmailed by her own students to give them higher grades after they learned about her OnlyFans account, according to a new report. 

WSB-TV in Atlanta also reported that Maris Nichols, a 25-year-old ex-teacher at Alexander High School in Douglasville, GA, was wearing a "Jesus Loves You" sweatshirt in a video that allegedly showed her having sex with one of the students.

Nichols was arrested last month and charged with multiple counts of sexual assault by a person with supervisory or disciplinary authority, authorities said. She was initially charged with having sex with a student inside a school closet and a parked vehicle. Several weeks later, Nichols was hit with a bunch of other charges including one count of tampering with evidence and four counts of grooming of a minor

U.S. Southern Command General Francis L. Donovan ordered a lethal kinetic strike on a boat identified as a Designated Terrorist Organization with three purported drug traffickers aboard.

In the video, posted late Thursday on X,  you can see the vessel traveling through the waters of the Eastern Pacific when, suddenly, it explodes after being hit by the kinetic strike.
