Cleveland Browns great Bernie Kosar is opening up on his serious medical issues ... revealing he's currently battling both Parkinson's disease and liver failure.

The former Pro Bowl quarterback went into detail about his current health status in an interview with Cleveland Magazine this week ... when he explained he has had problems with his liver for years, but never really addressed it until he was diagnosed with cirrhosis roughly 16 months ago.

Kosar has been receiving treatment at University Hospitals in Ohio ... and his condition was described as "dire" at the start of 2024. Thankfully, it has since improved.

In a terrifying scene like something right out of the film "Jaws" ... multiple people were injured when a shark attacked on July 4th at South Padre Island, TX.

Police were called for an attack on a man who was severely bitten just before noon Thursday ... but in a later statement from Texas Parks & Wildlife Dept., they reported two people were bitten and two more had encountered the shark but were not seriously injured.

While the injured man was initially treated at the beach by firefighters and police ... officials say one of the bite victims was taken to a local hospital, while the other was flown out for further treatment.

Several spectators were hospitalized after stray fireworks launched into the crowd Thursday at the Provo, UT "Stadium of Fire" July 4th show.

A transatlantic passenger is feeling lucky to be alive after severe turbulence sent him hurtling through the cabin of a Boeing jet ... and planted him in the airliner's ceiling.

Check out the clip -- you can see the man's feet sticking out from above an overhead bin Monday aboard Air Europa's flight UX045 from Madrid to Montevideo, Uruguay. The fact his feet were actually moving had to be relieving to his fellow passengers ... who eventually dislodged him, and got him back into his seat.
