The viral mermaid performer who was attacked by a fish is dispelling rumors she was forced to get back to work after her run-in with a sturgeon -- explaining she was immediately taken to the hospital.

Mariia Zelenina -- a 22-year-old Russian performer living in China and working at Xishuangbanna Primitive Forest Park -- spoke with People about how she almost ended up fish food ... peeling back the scales on the incident.

MZ tells the outlet she was totally shocked when the fish -- a Chinese sturgeon, she says -- came up to her near the end of her solo and took a big bite at the top of her head.

Brandi Glanville left fans shocked and upset after she posted a video of her shaking despondently on a medical machine ... while shining more light on her mystery health condition.

In a less than 30-second clip posted to X ... the former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star was on a lymphatic drainage machine -- a device meant to stimulate fluid movement and relieve pain -- while telling her followers, "I will shake for the rest of my life if this thing gets out of my body."

Finesse2tymes allegedly put his street team in harm's way where bullets were flying ... and it's all spelled out in a new lawsuit filed by his former driver.

TMZ Hip Hop obtained legal docs filed by Ernest Flores, who is suing Finesse2tymes and others over the June 18, 2023 shooting outside the now-shuttered nightclub Cosmopolitan Premier Lounge near Atlanta, Georgia.

Flores says he was employed by Finesse2tymes for the local Hot 107.9 radio station's after-party during its annual Birthday Bash Weekend concert.

A man in Brazil must have had God watching over him ... because he miraculously survived a fast-moving car barreling into him and sending him flying into a building.

Check out video obtained by TMZ ... which captured the January 23 incident in which the pedestrian was seen strolling down a sidewalk in Pernambuco, a state in northeast Brazil, seemingly without a care in the world.

They continued, "Based upon the leaked reports presumably by Ms. Allred, Mr. Jackson is not alleged to be the driver of the vehicle or even the individual who the Plaintiff paparazzi alleges opened the door as he charged a vehicle as it drove away from the bookstore."

TMZ can confirm the lawsuit was not leaked. It was filed publicly in L.A. Superior Court Monday afternoon.

A large number of people were injured -- some severely -- when a ski lift collapsed at a resort in Spain on Saturday, videos of the aftermath show.

Of the dozens hurt, at least nine people reportedly suffered serious injuries ... while dozens more were trapped on the damaged chairlift at the resort in the Spanish region of Aragon.

TMZ has obtained legal docs from Palm Beach County, Florida, revealing the rapper is asking for more than $1 million in damages, claiming the gym failed to provide adequate security to prevent the brutal attack by three men -- labeled as Latin Kings gang members in the suit -- at one of the company's South Florida locations.

Tekashi -- real name Daniel Hernandez -- is alleging the gym staff was not properly educated or informed regarding security protocols at LA Fitness, claiming employees failed to promptly request police presence once they were aware of the attack.
