Zsa Zsa Gabor Cause of Death ... Heart Attack

Zsa Zsa Gabor fell into a coma and died from a heart attack ... this according to the death certificate.

The death certificate -- obtained by TMZ -- says Zsa Zsa succumbed to cardiopulmonary arrest. There were 2 other contributing factors ... coronary artery disease and cerebral vascular disease.

The document lists them as a "significant condition" contributing to her death as cerebrovascular accident coma.

TMZ broke the story ... Zsa Zsa died December 18th.

George Michael Listen Without Prejudice ... Again

George Michael will live on with a new album in 2017 ... but it's one everyone knows well.

We've learned "Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1" will be re-released, in conjunction with a Showtime special on the singer's life, that focuses on the period in which he recorded and released the epic album.

Sources connected with the singer tell us there will be no new music released ... just "Listen Without Prejudice Vol. 1" with "unique packaging."

As for the Showtime show, we're told it was commissioned by Channel 4 in England and then sold to Showtime for airing in the U.S. The show is essentially complete. George was "tinkering with it" but it's in the can.

Michael narrates the program, which contains unseen interviews that span his singing career in Wham! and as a solo artist. Some of the people who appear on the show -- Elton John, James Corden, Stevie Wonder, Tony Bennett and Ricky Gervais.

We're told the show does not chronicle George's personal struggles ... it's more about his career.

Garry Shandling Death Certificate

Garry Shandling had an operation called "inferior vena cava filter" before he died ... according to his death certificate.

TMZ broke the story ... Garry died from pulmonary thrombosis -- a blood clot that traveled from his leg into his lungs.

Garry officially died at 11:37 AM on March 24 at St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica.

Garry Shandling died from pulmonary thrombosis -- a blood clot that traveled from his leg into his lungs.

According to the autopsy report obtained by TMZ, in addition to the clot, Shandling had an enlarged heart. The cause of death is listed both as "natural" and an "accident."

As for drugs, the report says Shandling had Xanax and opiate painkillers -- oxycodone and hydrocodone -- in his system. Shandling was on opiates for pain related to recent dental surgery.

According to the report, Shandling had complained of leg pain and shortness of breath the day before he died. His friend had urged him to see a doctor.

Garry called 911 on March 24th -- the day he died -- and said he couldn't breathe and he collapsed while on the phone.

'Step Up' Actress Found Dead in Car Suspect in Custody

An actress who appeared in "Step Up" has been found dead in her car after disappearing on Christmas day.

Tricia Lynn McCauley was a no-show at a Christmas dinner and did not show up for a flight out of DC Monday.

Her body was found Tuesday in the heart of the Capital.

The murder has signs of a carjacking, although cops have not confirmed it. The suspect was seen driving McCauley's car around DC. Before McCauley disappeared, the suspect allegedly robbed a drug store and attacked the employees.

The suspect is in custody. Cops say he did not know McCauley.

George Michael Weight Struggle Before Death

George Michael was reclusive and struggling with his weight in the months before his death.

These pics were taken in mid-September at a restaurant in England, and it's apparent the singer had gained a tremendous amount of weight.

He was rarely seen out in the months before his death.

As we reported, Michael died in his sleep on Christmas Day from heart failure. He had a tradition of attending Midnight Mass at a church near his home, but he was a no-show Sunday.

Michael was working on a Showtime movie about his life, which is due out in March.

George Michael Dead at 53

5:45 PM PT -- Sources directly connected with George and in a position to know tell us the singer died from heart failure. We're told he was sleeping throughout the episode and suffered no pain.

4:15 PM PT -- One of Michael's principal reps tell TMZ the singer had not been ill, and had been working on a Showtime movie of his life that was set to air in England next March.

George Michael passed away at his home in England at the age of 53 … his rep confirms.

A rep for the pop star says, "It is with great sadness that we can confirm our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over the Christmas period."

Details surrounding Michael's death have not been released.

Police say the death is unexplained, but doesn't appear to be suspicious, according to the BBC.

George was a music legend -- and sold more than 100 MILLION albums during his career.

Michael launched his career with WHAM! in the'80s -- churning out hits like "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" and "Careless Whisper."

He went on to have a monster solo career with hits like,"I Want Your Sex" and"Faith."

Michael struggled with drugs during his life -- and was arrested several times including an incident where he was busted at a public toilet in London in 2008.

'Bridalplasty' Contestant Confessed Murderer Has History of Abusing Horse

The man charged with the murder of Lisa Marie Naegle has a history of abuse ... allegedly leaving a family horse near death..

Jackie Jerome Rogers was arrested in L.A. in 2009 along with his mom, charged with felony animal abuse. A neighbor at the time tells us the white horse was tied up in a barn in the Rogers' backyard and appeared extremely malnourished ... to the point it seemed the animal might die.

The neighbor says Animal Control came and took the horse away.

Jackie Jerome Rogers copped a plea ... the felony was dropped and he pled no contest to misdemeanor animal cruelty. Rogers got 3 years probation and did 20 hours of community service.

And in a dark twist ... Rogers confessed he buried Naegle's naked body in the same backyard the horse was abused.

He's currently being held on a $2 million bond for Naegle's murder.

Jane Fonda says the passing of George Michael is very sad -- but she couldn't have been more blunt on the topic of death, "Nothing lasts forever."

Elton John 'In Deep Shock' Over George Michael's Death

Elton John says he's devastated by the death of his "beloved friend" George Michael -- saying, "I am in deep shock."

Elton -- who famously collaborated with George for the 1992 hit, "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" -- posted a tribute to his longtime friend on Instagram.

"I am in deep shock. I have lost a beloved friend - the kindest, most generous soul and a brilliant artist. My heart goes out to his family and all of his fans. @GeorgeMichael #RIP."

Michael died Sunday at his home in England. He was 53.

Joey Boots Fellow 'Wack Packer' Discovers Dead Body

Joey Boots' body was found by another Howard Stern 'Wack Packer' during a live podcast ... and the audio is heartbreaking.

TMZ broke the story ... High Pitch Erik was sent to Joey's apartment after he no-showed for his podcast. When Joey didn't answer the door, Erik got the building manager to check on Boots, and found him dead in a chair.

You can hear Erik's voice quivering when he asks for the show to go off the air just after the discovery.

Official cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.

Howard Stern 'Wack Packer' Joey Boots Dead at 49

Joey Boots -- one of Howard Stern's best known 'Wack Packers' -- has died in NYC ... TMZ has learned.

A rep for the NYPD tells TMZ cops responded to Boots' Bronx apartment building at 9:45 PM for a male in need of medical attention.

We're told once emergency workers arrived, Boots was pronounced DOA.

Cops tell us cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.

Fellow Wack Packer, High Pitch Erik, went to check on Boots after his podcast co-hosts became worried that he didn't show up for his regular gig.

According to a Facebook post from people associated witih the podcast, Boots didn't answer the door, so Erik got the building manager to do a wellness check and found Joey, "sitting in a chair, cold to the touch and with no pulse."

Joey Boots was a fan favorite on the Stern show ... best known for screaming "Baba Booey" during news broadcasts. He even successfully defended his right to yell the catch phrase in a landmark court case.

Lisa Marie Naegle's alleged murderer just faced a judge for the first time since being charged in the case.

Jackie Jerome Rogers' appearance was quick -- his arraignment was postponed until January 30, but the judge did set his bail at $2 million ... as the D.A. had requested.

TMZ broke the story ... Rogers confessed to the murder, telling cops he took a hammer to Lisa Marie's head early Sunday morning.

She was killed just a few hours after she and Rogers were out partying together.
