Former MTV star Connor Smith -- who appeared on "Are You the One?" in 2015 -- has been released from the clink after serving time for trying to get together with an underage girl.

Illinois state sources tell TMZ ... Smith is out on parole as of Friday after serving less than 8 months at Taylorville Correctional Center. He's now a registered sex offender ... so he's got 72 hours to check in with police to formally update his whereabouts.

Remember ... the one-time reality star was picked up by authorities in Florida in March 2024 -- ending a year-long manhunt initiated by the state of Illinois. Authorities accused him of sending sexually explicit messages to someone he thought was a 15-year-old girl ... but who was actually an adult undercover cop.

Diddy's defense says the whole criminal case boils down to the almighty dollar, and co-lead attorney Marc Agnifilo is telling jurors that's the only reason they're even in court ... money, money, money.

Agnifilo is taking the reins on the defense's closing argument Friday, and took jurors back to what the defense says is the beginning of the case against Diddy -- Cassie's 2023 civil lawsuit.

As Agnifilo put it, Cassie "is sitting somewhere in the world with $30 million" ... referencing the $20 mil settlement in her Diddy suit and the $10 mil deal she cut with the owner of the InterContinental Hotel in L.A., the scene of the infamous beating video.

Diddy is being sued by a man who claims Diddy sodomized him at a house party after telling him, "You're about to get that Diddy love."

The Bad Boy Records founder is being sued by a man named Brandon Adams, who claims he was invited to a party Diddy was hosting in 2021 ... only to show up and be sexually assaulted.

In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Adams claims he got the invite from a chauffeur he met at an L.A. gas station, and when he showed up, he says he was told to keep his phone in the car. Inside the bash, he claims he saw celebs -- but didn't interact with them -- and had some alcoholic drinks that made him feel dizzy.

MLB superstar Wander Franco has been found guilty of sexually abusing a minor.

The verdict in the Tampa Bay Rays shortstop's criminal case in the Dominican Republic just came down minutes ago on Thursday afternoon.

Franco had been on trial over allegations he had an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old girl. He was simultaneously accused of transferring money to the minor's mom to get her approval of their romance.

Diddy's son Justin Combs lured a woman to Los Angeles with promises of getting her a job in entertainment, but when she arrived in L.A. she was kept in a house for days and ended up being raped by multiple men, including Diddy ... at least according to a new lawsuit.

In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, the woman claims Justin initially contacted her through Snapchat in 2017 and they messaged back and forth, with the woman eventually sending Justin risqué photos at his request. She says after she sent the snaps, Justin offered to fly her to L.A. for a weekend.

The woman says she was interested in working in entertainment and told Justin as much in their conversations ... and she claims Justin told her a trip to L.A. would help her potential career, telling her if she came, he would get her a job using his and his famous father's connections.

“Love Island” contestant Cashel Barnett has been held in a Utah jail since last month, facing charges of allegedly brutally assaulting his ex-girlfriend in front of their child ... and now he's facing even more felonies for allegedly sexually assaulting the same victim.

According to court docs obtained by TMZ … Utah prosecutors leveled three new charges against the reality star on Tuesday -- including aggravated sexual assault, aggravated assault, and domestic violence in the presence of a child.

Per the docs ... Cashel slapped and choked his ex-girlfriend while sexually assaulting her last November. This after he allegedly withheld any physical contact for a month because the alleged victim asked him to get a job to help support their child.

DeLeassa Penland, a special agent with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York -- the agency prosecuting the case against Diddy -- testified Diddy's American Express account was charged nearly $47,000 for damages at a single hotel in New York in one instance.

Penland told the jury Diddy, Cassie Ventura and Jules Theodore -- an alleged male escort -- stayed at the London Hotel on a particular date, which was paid for on Diddy's AmEx, as well as Virgin America plane tickets for Jules.
