Mexico fans took over entire streets in Los Angeles Tuesday night, celebrating their soccer team's huge victory in the 2026 FIFA World Cup ... and police got involved.

Check out the videos ... celebrations broke out in full force all across L.A. with hundreds of people in green Mexico soccer jerseys lighting fireworks and doing donuts in their cars.

Police eventually came to shut down the party ... but that was easier said than done.

Fireworks continued igniting ... some of the pyrotechnics even went flying towards officers.

The Argentine player was with his club in Caracas when Venezuela's devastating earthquakes tore through the country last week ... and while he desperately waited for news, teammates, volunteers and family members searched nonstop for his loved ones.

Authorities confirmed Saturday night that Trejo's wife, Yanina Maranella, and the couple's children, Aarón and Ainhoa, had all been found dead after spending roughly 72 hours missing beneath the rubble.

Check it out -- Paris Hilton, Brad Pitt, and Ashton Kutcher were just a few of the big names who showed up to support.

Leonardo DiCaprio was also spotted in a VIP suite ... carefully looking on as if the outcome of the game determined if he'd score some tickets on the Titanic!

Will Ferrell put on a show for cheering fans ... dancing in his spot when the camera panned to him.

Even second lady Usha Vance showed face ... she was spotted grinning with pride as "The Star-Spangled Banner" was sung before the big game.

Unfortunately, the USMNT walked away with an L Thursday night ... but it already secured a spot ahead. The next match is against Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 1.
