Mexico fans took over entire streets in Los Angeles Tuesday night, celebrating their soccer team's huge victory in the 2026 FIFA World Cup ... and police got involved.

Check out the videos ... celebrations broke out in full force all across L.A. with hundreds of people in green Mexico soccer jerseys lighting fireworks and doing donuts in their cars.

Police eventually came to shut down the party ... but that was easier said than done.

Fireworks continued igniting ... some of the pyrotechnics even went flying towards officers.

Soccer star Lucas Trejo's worst nightmare didn't end when the shaking stopped ... it ended three days later, when rescuers found the bodies of his wife and two young children.

The Argentine player was with his club in Caracas when Venezuela's devastating earthquakes tore through the country last week ... and while he desperately waited for news, teammates, volunteers and family members searched nonstop for his loved ones.

Authorities confirmed Saturday night that Trejo's wife, Yanina Maranella, and the couple's children, Aarón and Ainhoa, had all been found dead after spending roughly 72 hours missing beneath the rubble.

The celebrities poured into Los Angeles Stadium Thursday night to cheer on the U.S. Men's National Team during its FIFA World Cup match against Turkey!

Check it out -- Paris Hilton, Brad Pitt, and Ashton Kutcher were just a few of the big names who showed up to support.

Leonardo DiCaprio was also spotted in a VIP suite ... carefully looking on as if the outcome of the game determined if he'd score some tickets on the Titanic!

Will Ferrell put on a show for cheering fans ... dancing in his spot when the camera panned to him.

Even second lady Usha Vance showed face ... she was spotted grinning with pride as "The Star-Spangled Banner" was sung before the big game.

Antonio Freeman says his son Alex Freeman, the youngest player on the United States soccer team, is living out his dreams on the soccer pitch, playing in the FIFA World Cup ... and his former Packers star pops couldn't be happier!

"I'm a proud dad, I'm proud of Alex. You know, this was his dream. This was his journey," the retired NFL star told TMZ Sports Wednesday night, on the eve of the team's last Group Stage match.

"And, man, [Alex] worked tirelessly when no one was watching, when everybody else was partying. You know, he was looking forward to those training sessions. And as a dad, to say I'm proud is an understatement. This is unbelievable. Unimaginable."

Lionel Messi stands alone -- the Argentinian soccer superstar just broke the all-time FIFA World Cup goals record after ripping a laser shot in the back of the net in Monday's match.

Morocco captain and Paris Saint-Germain star Achraf Hakimi will stand trial in a rape case ... but he insists the matter is only moving forward because he's a celebrity.

The 27-year-old defender -- who is currently playing in the World Cup -- will have a future date in court after a woman accused him of raping her at his home near Paris in March 2023, when she was 24 years old.

Hakimi fought a February decision over the allegations ... but the Versailles appeals court ordered him to be formally charged, citing sufficient evidence against him to stand trial.

Some FIFA World Cup fans couldn't wait until Tuesday for some Argentina vs. Algeria action -- they ended up duking it out right in the middle of Times Square ... and the chaos was captured on video.

According to reports, fans of both countries were congregating in the heart of Midtown Manhattan on Monday ... and at one point, the cheering for their home squads turned into dissing their opponents.
