A popular streamer was allegedly assaulted at TwitchCon -- a convention where the biggest names on the platform interact with fans ... and, she's pissed at what she feels was a lapse in security by the brand.

Here's the deal ... yesterday, the streamer Emiru held a meet-and-greet at the festival in San Diego, where fans could walk up, chat with her for a moment and take a pic -- pretty standard fare for these types of conventions.

During the event -- as video circulating around social media shows -- a tall man walks forward and grabs Emiru ... bringing her face very close to his.

He isn't called IShowSpeed for nothin' -- the streaming superstar put his wheels on full display right in the heart of Los Angeles on Tuesday ... drawing a massive crowd to the spectacle in the process.

The social media sensation is capping off his "Speed Does America" tour in the City of Angels this week ... and after roaming around Hollywood Blvd. for some time, a dude in a yellow bodysuit challenged him to a sprint.

Twitch streamer Asmongold revealed in a post on his X account Thursday that his father died days ago ... and it sounds like he's taking it pretty hard.

The social media personality, born Zack Hoyt, wrote an emotional message to express his feelings about the death of his father, who he'd taken care of while taking time off from streaming earlier this year.
