Diddy nailed it when he challenged the black community to demand more from Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump ... and Sway seconds that motion.

The BET, VH1 and SiriusXM host (in your face, Seacrest) joined us on "TMZ Live" to break down Diddy's call for a sort of boycott. There's some debate about whether Puff meant don't vote at all ... or just hold the candidates' feet to the fire before you do vote.

We got into it with Sway, who added -- regardless of race -- it's hard to believe ANY politician.

Ryan Lochte got what he deserved when the USOC suspended him and banned him from U.S Swimming's National Championships, but there's still an upside ... according to swimming great Rowdy Gaines.

Rowdy -- a 3-time gold medalist who knows Lochte -- came on "TMZ Live" and pulled no punches, telling us Ryan's lie in Rio was a huge mistake that forced the USOC to drop the stiff 10 month suspension.

He also thinks Ryan will have plenty of time to stage a comeback, and Michael Phelps is a perfect example of that -- since he was also banned from the National swim meet after his DUIs.

Ann Coulter got the shaft on the "Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe" -- not because every celeb on the dais ripped her to shreds -- but because Comedy Central made it seem like her jokes bombed.

That's Ann's version of what went down during the taping, anyway. She came on "TMZ Live" to talk about the beating she took -- even a few liberals have sympathy for the conservative lightning rod in the aftermath of the show.

Coulter told us she wrote her own jokes and claims she got plenty of laughs in the room -- but she has a theory on why that laughter was missing from the final cut.

Chris Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, says a woman's claim Chris pointed a gun at her is nothing more than a false accusation made in hopes of becoming famous.

Geragos addressed the media Friday -- and made it clear -- he says no guns or drugs were found by cops in the singer's home. He also stated reports Brown's 2-year-old daughter, Royalty, was home during the alleged incident are total BS.

It's interesting ... Mark said his office is still investigating the validity of text messages Baylee Curran allegedly sent which show she was trying to set Chris up. Geragos said if it's found Curran did lie, he'll call for a criminal investigation against her.

Geragos was on "TMZ Live" Friday to discuss the case ... and has his own theory on Baylee's motives.

The woman who got Chris Brown arrested Tuesday had a curious reaction for someone who allegedly had a gun pulled on her.

Baylee Curran's friend, Christian Bonilla, just appeared on "TMZ Live" to talk about his interaction with her right after the incident. He's the one who brought her to the party but left early, only to get a text from her asking him to pick her up.

Christian says Baylee texted him, "This mother******'s about to go down" ... a little odd.

And Christian also says Baylee's not the kind of person you want to get angry.

Chris claims she made the whole thing up out of anger, because he kicked her out of his house.

The woman who called the cops on Chris Brown says the singer pulled a gun on her because she was admiring a piece of jewelry ... and afterwards his people demanded she signed a non-disclosure agreement.

Baylee Curran appeared on "TMZ Live" and said she had partied with Chris in the past and he was always nice, but this time he appeared to be out of it ... on drugs or alcohol.

She says she came to his house with a friend, spent a little time in the hot tub, and then walked back inside where a member of Chris' crew was displaying jewelry. Baylee says when she admired one piece the guy went nuts, and then Chris followed suit by demanding she "get the f*** out" and pointed a gun at her.

The craziest part ... as she tried to leave she says Chris' people wouldn't let her take her cell phone until she signed a non-disclosure agreement. She refused to sign, and she and her friend left.

TMZ broke the story ... Baylee, Miss California Regional 2016, called 911 and that started the standoff with Chris.
