The two megastars, along with Katie Holmes, hit the only place in Hollywood where they had zero chance of flying under the paparazzi radar yesterday-- the Ivy restaurant on Robertson.

The threesome arrived at the exclusive eatery in a black SUV, and while Tom never actually entered the restaurant, it was obvious that he had another mission -- image makeover. The wee actor was all smiles as he opened the car door, escorted the women out of the car and even walked them up to the host. Such a gentleman.

Now that Scientology's biggest cheerleader has lured David Beckham to L.A., Tom Cruise is setting his sights on Becks' wife, Victoria.

The New York Daily News reports that with a little coaxing from TomKat, the Beckhams might become Scientology's next celebrity converts. Apparently, Posh has eagerly accepted church literature from Tom and Katie, and she'll be playing an alien in "The Thetan," a movie backed by Cruise that's based on his religious beliefs.

Apparently, Victoria's new BFFs have made it their mission to help the former Spice Girl become a household name in the States. Katie is trying to line up meetings with Hollywood movers and shakers like Steven Spielberg. TomKat is undoubtedly feeding status-hungry Posh lines about how joining Scientology will help boost her profile.

While Britney's out making enemies, it looks like Kevin Federline has gained an ally – albeit a weird one. According to Page Six, schlock director John Waters came to K-Fed's defense by saying: "You don't see him out there getting out of limousines and flashing his shaved crotch. What did he do that was so wrong? [Britney] is the idiot. She's the one who gave him the Ferrari."

Donald Trump just doesn't know when to give up. The publicity monger unexpectedly dropped in on Opie and Anthony's XM Satellite Radio show, claiming he wanted to end his feud with Rosie O'Donnell. Then he proceeded to launch into a tirade about "The View" host, and told a story about how she came to one of his weddings and "ate plenty." When will it end?

David Beckham got a little support from pocket pal Tom Cruise.

At a presser today, the soccer stud said he phoned his wee BFF the other night to ask for advice about the paparazzi. "He's a very wise man and a very good friend of mine," said Beckham of Cruise, "and to have his experience and have him explain some things to me to be prepared for, that's going to be a big help."

TMZ has learned that Tom and Katie recently purchased a $329 pink tricycle and an adorable pink and white stuffed animal sofa for their little girl wonder -- at uber-chic L.A. baby boutique, Petit Tresor.

To make sure the third Mrs.Cruise wasn't feeling left out, Tom got her a $1200 leather diaper bag by Mia Bossi -- the same one Madonna picked up a few months ago. Mama's got a brand new bag!

While Tom didn't shop for the items himself, he's too busy planning media spectacles, er, we mean wedding receptions, he did have one of his minions pick up the items. Oh, the perks of being the world's biggest movie star!

That evening, the couple headed over to the site of a $400,000 post-nuptial bash, where powerful showbiz players celebrated the TomKat agreements.

Over 300 guests, including Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Tom's former pharmaceutical foe Brooke Shields, who all braved a downpour to pay homage. The soggy twosome's honeymoon was also rained out.

Oprah and John Travolta were nowhere to be seen.

The meatfest was a warm-up for Saturday's stateside wedding reception, being thrown by Tom's business partner, Paula Wagner, who is opening up her L.A. home to host yet another Oprah-less shindig.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes recently shelled $4.75 million for a London mansion, but they won't be moving in soon ... because the place stinks! First their honeymoon was rained out, and now this.

Their new next door neighbor told a British newspaper that the stench was caused by sewer problems and garden cesspits being emptied in the ritzy Dormans Park neighborhood. A local official concurred, saying, "It's a real mess. They're in the process of putting in sewers but it's a big job."

The newlyweds and baby Suri made their getaway from the rain-soaked paradise and jetted back to sunny Beverly Hills -- on Tom's private plane, of course.

Apparently, he borrowed John Travolta's outfit from "Saturday Night Fever."

The former Spice Girl exited the Hassler Hotel with what can only be described as an oversized black plate wedged precariously on her head, posing for photos and turning the entranceway of the hotel into a fashion show.

With other guests like J. Lo, Richard Gere and Jenna Elfman in attendance, it sure sucks for them if they were sitting behind Beckham!

And in case you're wondering -- Cruise and Holmes have tied and knot and are officially husband and wife, their rep confirms to PEOPLE.

Tyra Banks pantsed her entire audience for one of her shows. Fortunately for viewers, most of the crowd was hot. Funny how that worked out.
