The first trailer for Alec Baldwin's "Rust" is out ... more than three years after the tragic on-set shooting that took Halyna Hutchins' life.

The trailer’s packed with classic Western action -- horse ridin', shootouts, and plenty of drama -- while still honoring Halyna, with her name listed as cinematographer in the credits alongside her husband Matthew Hutchins, who served as EP on the flick.

Bianca Cline stepped in as cinematographer after Halyna's death, and from just the short trailer, it’s clear they both excelled -- because the film's visuals look fantastic.

Houston rapper Sauce Walka is grappling with mixed emotions after narrowly escaping a deadly shooting in Memphis on Saturday that claimed the life of his friend and artist Sayso P.

A Florida sheriff's deputy shot and critically injured a man who pointed a gun at him during a domestic violence call -- and the entire wild scene was captured on body cam video.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office released the footage Sunday, and it shows one of their deputies climbing the stairs of a Riverview house in which suspect Manuel Alvarez and his female partner were staying.

The deputy, identified as Shawn Swinford, is wearing his body camera and training his gun in front of him, while calling out to Alvarez, who is offscreen and allegedly verbally making threats to shoot the police.

Police believe the shooting involving rapper Sauce Walka was targeted.

Authorities in Memphis held a press conference late Saturday night in which they announced their CSI investigators have determined Sauce Walka and another individual were sought out by the gunmen.

Sauce and the other victim were outside a vehicle when the suspects pulled up with multiple people inside and began opening fire. Law enforcement says there was no conversation between either party before or during the shooting. The suspects fled in a four-door white vehicle from the downtown area.

A man wielding a chainsaw in an assisted-living facility was shot after a tense standoff with police .. and, the whole showdown was caught on dramatic body cam footage.

Video of the incident -- which happened back in December -- captures Daniel H. Escalera, an Indiana man, who was at River Glen of St. Charles assisted living facility in Illinois, revving the chainsaw as officers arrive on the scene.

The responding officer repeatedly tells the man to drop the chainsaw, as Escalera says he just wants to see his wife ... while trying hard to get it started. Eventually, he's able to get the tool going -- which is when the officer tases him.

A police officer in Texas begged and pleaded with a man to drop a knife ... saying she didn't want to shoot him -- and, the moment was captured on harrowing body cam footage.

The video -- released Saturday -- captured the officer-involved shooting from February ... when a San Antonio police officer arrived at a park where a man was climbing out of a car that crashed into the lake.

A former U.S. Dept. of Justice Pardon Attorney says she was fired last week from her position for refusing to reinstate Mel Gibson’s gun rights.

Elizabeth G. Oyer says two weeks ago she was put on a group tasked with restoring gun rights for convicted individuals. But, when asked to add Mel -- who lost his rights after his 2011 domestic violence conviction -- she said no.

The New York Times was the first to report Oyer’s termination. She told the outlet that Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche's office had compiled a list of nine people eligible for restored gun rights.

The Secret Service surrounded a man who was brandishing a gun near The White House on Sunday.

The agency said they were notified on Saturday by local law enforcement that a man who they believe was suicidal had traveled from Indiana to Washington D.C. late Saturday night, SS officials noticed the man parked next to a building directly next to The White House. The SS says as officers approached his vehicle, he brandished a firearm and “an armed confrontation ensued, during which shots were fired.”

The man was transported to a local hospital where his condition is currently unknown, the agency’s statement concluded.

None of the Secret Service agents handling the situation were injured.

Bhad Bhabie's on-and-off boyfriend, Le Vaughn, is going to be "just fine" after getting shot in the left pinky finger during an early-morning L.A. strip club altercation on Wednesday.
