Brock Lesnar made a shocking return to WWE Sunday night at SummerSlam-- hitting John Cena with his F5 finisher to close the show.

MetLife Stadium erupted when the former WWE Champion's music hit the speakers. Lesnar stared down Cena as he made his way to the ring ... setting up a showdown between the two amid Cena's retirement tour.

His appearance came as a shock to many ... as the 48-year-old was named in the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon in 2024.

WWE Superstar Tiffany Stratton is set to take part in her first SummerSlam match Saturday night at MetLife Stadium ... but don't think any nerves are running through the champ -- 'cause she tells TMZ Sports she is "never afraid!!"

We caught up with the WWE Women's Champion out in NYC ahead of her title defense against Jade Cargill ... and it's clear she couldn't be more excited to go out and put on a show.

"I am super excited," she said. "It's my first SummerSlam ever, so I'm making history on top of the two-night SummerSlam."

Hulk Hogan is being honored with an entire day in his home state following his death ... as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just declared Friday, August 1, 2025 "Hulk Hogan Day."

DeSantis made the gesture official in a letter released on Thursday ... saying beyond Friday being Hogan Day, he is calling on state flags to be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol and other buildings in Pinellas County.

"Hogan was born in Augusta, Georgia, but moved to Tampa at a young age. He began his wrestling career in 1977 and rose to fame after joining World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE)," DeSantis wrote.

Records from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center show the 71-year-old Hall of Famer died from acute myocardial infarction, according to the NY Post.

The condition is commonly known as a heart attack.

Former WWE honcho Vince McMahon was involved in a bad car accident last week, TMZ Sports has learned ... but thankfully, no one was injured.

The incident happened around 9 AM in Connecticut on Thursday -- hours before we broke the news of Hulk Hogan's passing.

According to a crash report we obtained, McMahon's 2024 Bentley was traveling northbound on Route 15 in Westport when it rammed into the back of a 2023 BMW 430 and collided with a median wooden-beam guardrail.

WWE's Hulk Hogan tributes will continue on Monday night ... with the legendary wrestler's son, Nick, slated to attend "Raw."

TMZ Sports is told Hogan's only son will be in Detroit, Michigan for the festivities at Little Caesars Arena, although it's unclear if he'll have any involvement in the show.

The news comes days after Hogan's death was acknowledged with a 10-bell salute and a lengthy farewell prior to the action on Friday's "SmackDown," which included a heartfelt speech from Triple H.
