Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson are teaming up again -- not for music, but for a wild new docuseries ... TMZ has confirmed.

Netflix has greenlit a 3-part documentary series starring the former One Direction bandmates, who are hitting the open road for a cross-country trip across America. The show will follow Zayn and Louis as they reconnect, explore small towns and big cities, and dive into plenty of laughs along the way.

This isn't just sightseeing -- fans will get a rare look inside the lives of two of the most famous and private guys. The series will touch on life after superstardom, love, loss, and even fatherhood.

9:20 AM PT -- Kate Cassidy followed up her video montage for Liam Payne's birthday with a long, poignant note posted to Instagram.

In the upload, in which she shared several past photos from their time together, KC declared she would "give up years in [her] life to give [him] a few more."

Kate Cassidy is sharing a glimpse into her love story with Liam Payne ... uploading a sweet tribute on what would've been the singer's 32nd birthday.

The TikTok star shared a video montage Friday on Instagram of candid moments of herself and Liam enjoying everything from adventures abroad, to meals together, to other intimate moments.

KC said the tribute was meant to commemorate "a special day for a special soul," noting just how much she missed her former flame.

We all know the former One Direction member knows how to sing about the ups and downs of relationships, and he's written plenty of hits about that exact subject over the course of his career.

The thing is, some of his relationships have been just as dramatic and dynamic as his songs -- let's check them out!

Styles was thrust into the public eye when One Direction was introduced through performances on "The X Factor" -- and he ended up briefly dating television presenter Caroline Flack, who had hosted its spinoff, "The Xtra Factor."

The pair received much attention for their 14-year age gap, and they ultimately went their separate ways after just a few months.

Styles was later linked to model Emma Ostilly, who appeared in the music video for One Direction's track "Gotta Be You," although their fling ultimately proved to be brief.

The performer subsequently started seeing Taylor Swift in 2012 ... and although they took several trips during that year's holiday season, they broke up in January 2013.

The "Watermelon Sugar" singer has spoken fondly of his ex in the years since their romance fizzled out, and he told Howard Stern the hitmaker was a "great songwriter."

Styles moved on with Kendall Jenner ... the couple was first spotted in each other's company while having dinner in West Hollywood in 2013.

Rumors about the pair -- who maintained what appeared to be an on-off fling -- swirled for several years, during which they were seen with each other on various outings.

Styles stayed busy in the interim, though, as he was linked to models Nadine Leopold and Georgia Fowler ... although neither fling lasted for very long.

The singer eventually reconciled with Jenner in 2016, and her sister Khloe told Entertainment Tonight that, while she didn't know if the two were "like boyfriend-girlfriend," the singer and the model "were in St. Barts together hanging out, so to me that's dating."

Although Styles and Jenner were later seen with each other during her 21st birthday party, their romance appeared to come to an end ... but they've stayed on friendly terms ever since then.

Following his split from Jenner, the singer started seeing model Camille Rowe, and the fashion industry figure was photographed attending several of the performer's concerts throughout 2018.

The two attempted to keep their relationship under the radar during its length, and following their split that year, Styles included a voicemail from his ex at the end of his song "Cherry."

Styles then began the arguably most high-profile of his romances when he started dating Olivia Wilde, whom he met when he was cast in her 2020 film "Don't Worry Darling."

The singer and the actress -- who was formerly engaged to Jason Sudeikis -- first set off the rumor mill after they attended a wedding together in 2021, and they started being spotted together during his concerts, as well as on various getaways.

The pair, who had a 10-year age gap between them, garnered much attention for their romance over the remainder of 2021, and a line from Styles' track "As It Was" -- "leave America, two kids follow her" -- appeared to be a clear reference to their romance.

However, cracks between the two began to show over the course of 2022, and when their split was announced that November, a source told People the pair had come to a "very amicable decision" about ending their romance.

Styles eventually moved on with Emily Ratajkowski, and the two were snapped locking lips during a trip to Tokyo that took place in March of 2023.

Although a source told People at the time that the supermodel was "interested in seeing him again," the pair's fling proved to be brief.

Styles was later linked to actress Taylor Russell, with whom he was first seen in June 2023, and he attended the opening night of a stage production of "The Effect."

Liam Payne's passion for music and impact on "Building the Band" will be felt on the new show ... this according to Backstreet Boys star AJ McLean.

The singer-songwriter -- who is hosting the show -- opened 'BtB' with a heartfelt tribute to the late One Direction star ... saying they never thought they'd be saying goodbye to him so soon.

LP appears as a guest judge in later episodes -- which will be released several at a time over the next few Wednesdays -- and, McLean says his love of music and commitment to helping contestants find their voices will be evident.

Liam Payne's friend Roger Nores -- who was with the One Direction singer in his final chaotic days in Buenos Aires -- is taking legal steps to drop a lawsuit he filed against Liam's dad.

Roger beelined it to court Wednesday and filed new legal docs to dismiss his defamation lawsuit against Geoff Payne.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Roger says he wants to dismiss the suit without prejudice ... meaning it could be refiled in the future.

Liam Payne's friend Roger Nores is off the hook in the criminal case of the One Direction singer's drug-fueled death in Argentina, TMZ has confirmed.

Prosecutors originally charged Nores with manslaughter for allegedly abandoning Liam just prior to the star plunging to his death from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aries last October, while he was under the influence of alcohol and narcotics.

But, on Wednesday, the judges dropped the manslaughter charge against Nores and two hotel workers after the court ruled there was nothing the trio could have done to save Liam.

Zayn Malik had a very special guest in attendance at his recent show in Los Angeles ... his ex-One Direction bandmate and former frenemy, Louis Tomlinson.

The "Pillowtalk" singer confirmed Louis' presence at his concert at the Shrine Expo Hall in L.A. Wednesday night, when he shouted out his ex-bandmate ... calling LT's presence at the show "kind of special."

He announced ... "An old friend of mine is here supporting me tonight. He’s sitting somewhere here. I don’t want to give his location away, but Louis is here tonight."

Liam Payne's friend Roger Nores -- who was with him in his final chaotic days alive in Buenos Aires -- is suing Liam's father for allegedly smearing him in the media in the weeks after Liam died.

Roger filed the defamation lawsuit Thursday against Geoff Payne for saying Roger was supposed to take care of Liam at the time of his death. According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Roger says Geoff submitted a sworn declaration to Buenos Aires police stating Roger had "full responsibility for Liam's care during this last period when I was not there."

But, Roger sternly denies that saying in the lawsuit, he "never agreed to be and was never the caretaker of Liam." He acknowledges they were "dear friends" and supported each other, but says it was never a paid job for him.

Kate Cassidy -- Liam Payne's girlfriend at the time of his tragic death -- is slowly dipping her toe back into vlogging ... 3 months after the One Direction alum's passing.

The influencer, who is best known for posting lifestyle content on social media, uploaded to TikTok on Monday about her "simple day" ... but the tone was noticeably somber as she gave fans a glimpse into her new routine without Liam.

As you can see from the footage, Kate is putting self-care first during these trying times ... undergoing an extensive skincare routine, exercising, baking, playing with dogs, and journaling, among other healing activities.

Liam Payne was advised by his psychiatrist just weeks before his death ... he needed a "higher level of care" than she could provide.

In a letter, filed with the court in Argentina and obtained by TMZ ... the One Direction star's psychiatrist informed the British singer in September she could no longer provide psychiatric care for him.

As the psychiatrist put it ... she decided to stop treating Liam "after careful consideration and assessment," but advised him to continue with a treatment plan -- which included taking medications only as prescribed, avoiding heavy drinking while on medication, weekly therapy, meeting with a primary care doctor, and further testing.

Liam Payne's drug use had him "close to death" on multiple occasions ... long before his fatal fall from a hotel balcony in Argentina ... at least according to his friend, Roger Nores.

In new legal documents from Argentina, obtained by TMZ, Nores recalls Liam's drug issues ... claiming the late One Direction singer had to be revived two times in as many years.

Nores is charged with abandoning Liam before his fatal fall back in October, and he's defending himself against criminal charges here ... by talking about Liam's drug habit.

A waiter prosecutors want to charge in connection with Liam Payne's death admits he used cocaine with the singer ... but insists he didn’t get paid and is NOT a drug dealer.

Braian Paiz told us in our upcoming documentary "TMZ Investigates: Liam Payne: Who's to Blame?" -- airing Monday night at 8 PM ET on FOX — he partied with Liam in the singer’s Buenos Aires Hotel room.

Paiz says they drank whiskey and used the cocaine he brought to the hotel. He says they did it on 2 occasions … the second just 2 days before Liam’s fatal fall from the hotel balcony.

Liam Payne's close friend, now in the crosshairs of Argentinian authorities -- insists when he left the singer at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel an hour before his death, he seemed fine ... But authorities and eyewitnesses say that's anything but true.

Roger Nores appears in our new documentary, "TMZ Investigates: Liam Payne: Who's to Blame?" -- which airs Monday night at 8 PM ET on FOX -- says he was with Liam on and off the day he fell from the hotel balcony to his death.

Nores says, he checked on Liam three times during the day, and when he left an hour before the fatal fall Liam seemed happy and fine, although a little tipsy.

Authorities are reportedly weighing charges against two more people in connection with Liam Payne’s death investigation, according to new legal documents.

Law enforcement sources confirm to TMZ a judge is considering charges in a new filing Monday against two employees at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, where Liam fell to his death from his third-floor balcony.

The judge referred to both the receptionist who called 911 twice the morning Liam died and the hotel manager as "imputados" or "people charged."
