Metta World Peace is down to trade his sneakers for gloves -- the NBA champion tells TMZ Sports after signing rising boxing star Chordale Booker, he's not against getting some action himself!!

We spoke with Metta and sports business manager Paul Guarino after they inked a deal to co-manage Booker, a super welterweight from Connecticut who won his 24th fight by knockout in August.

Metta said it's an exciting moment ... so much that it's motivating him to spar with Booker during his training ... and possibly even hop on his card when a fight is booked.

Beyoncé got hearts racing at the F1 event in Las Vegas ... bringing more excitement to an already electrifying event when she bared her cleavage.

The singer-songwriter led the celebrity attendees at Saturday night's race ... walking into the event on the arm of her man, Jay-Z -- though we doubt anyone looked much at him.

After all, his wife wore an alluring white and black leather top -- much in the fashion of a racecar driver's uniform ... though she pulled the zipper of hers down to the middle of her chest, leaving little to the imagination.

Jalen Ramsey was fined over $14K by the NFL for unsportsmanlike conduct ... punishment for the star cornerback hitting Ja'Marr Chase after the star wideout spat on him during the Steelers-Bengals game.

Several NFL insiders broke the news Saturday morning, reporting the league office slapped 31-year-old Ramsey with a $14,491 fine for the week 11 incident.

It's unclear whether Ramsey, who is on a 4-year, $84.7 million deal, will appeal.

2:30 PM PT -- UAB football player Daniel Mincey is in custody at the local county jail, though law enforcement hasn't identified the 6'3, 315 lb. player as the suspect in the stabbing.

Mincey, 20, is a redshirt freshman offensive lineman from Florida ... and is being held for attempted murder.

A University of Alabama at Birmingham football player is under arrest after allegedly stabbing two of his teammates at the team's athletic facility Saturday morning, just hours before kickoff.

Neither the players, who are in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, nor the alleged aggressor has been identified.

"We’re grateful to report that two players injured in an incident this morning at the Football Operations Building are in stable condition. Our thoughts are with them and their families as they recover. The suspect – another player – remains in custody, and an investigation is taking place," a UAB spokesperson said.

Rodney Rogers -- a basketball star who shined in college and went on to have a productive NBA career -- has died ... his alma mater, Wake Forest University announced.

WFU's athletic department released a statement from Rodney's wife, Faye, Saturday morning ... stating Rogers passed away peacefully Friday surrounded by loved ones.

Faye mentions Rodney rising above adversity -- he was paralyzed from the shoulders down in a 2008 ATV accident -- keeping upbeat and joyful despite all his challenges. Faye did not reveal a cause of death.

Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Paul -- regarded as one of the best point guards in NBA history -- is retiring.

The NBA star announced his plans to retire following the 2025-26 season on X Saturday morning, along with a compilation of photos from childhood until now, and some clips of the greatest moments of his celebrated career.

Along with the video, he wrote ... "Back in NC!!! What a ride…Still so much left…GRATEFUL for this last one!!" His message comes ahead of his game against the Charlotte Hornets in his home state of North Carolina.

As the Formula 1 Grand Prix returns to Las Vegas, the famous Sheri's Ranch is rollin' out an "over-the-top fantasy" bundle for drivers and fans alike!!

TMZ Sports has learned the iconic brothel -- located an hour west of the Vegas strip -- is offering a "Pit Crew Package" for competitors, crew, and spectators on November 22.

We chopped it up with the former UFC welterweight champion after it was announced he would be stepping in to replace Chris Weidman against Silva ... and he told us that even though George St-Pierre was his number one dream fight, this is the next best opportunity.

There's a huge log jam at the top of the UFC welterweight division, with no less than five fighters in the mix for a title fight against champ Islam Makhachev ... a complicated situation that Ian Machado Garry says will be settled after he kicks Belal Muhammad's ass!

TMZ Sports spoke to the 28-year-old, 6th-ranked challenger ahead of his Fight Night co-main event scrap with 37-year-old Muhammad ... and we asked about the weight class.

"It's the most exciting division in the UFC right now. It's probably the most exciting a division has ever been, full stop. It's an exciting time for my division, and I'm at the forefront of it," Garry told us.

Big Boom A.J. is set to bring the -- well, you know by now -- this Saturday when he steps between the ropes at AEW Full Gear, and the TikTok sensation is reflecting on what he's learned in his four-match run with the company ... telling TMZ Sports the secret is all about feeling confident!!

We caught up with A.J., his son, Big Justice, and his tag team partner for Saturday, Q.T. Marshall -- ahead of the massive Pay-Per-View -- and we asked him what he's learned since returning to the ring.

"Have the confidence to push," he said. "Have the confidence to go beyond, to have the confidence to do more than I think I can do, and to just get out there and let it all go."

The influencer at the center of Stefon Diggs' defamation lawsuit is fighting back ... filing a counterclaim accusing the NFL star of lying, and exposing himself during a car ride.

TMZ Sports obtained the countersuit on Friday, in which Christopher Blake Griffith denied the claims Diggs made in his defamation suit filed back in October, in which the football star claimed the social media influencer fabricated allegations regarding an incident at Diggs' Maryland home on May 22, 2023.

Griffith claims that night, he and Diggs went to several clubs around Washington, D.C., and at one point, Chris ate a "candy" Stefon repeatedly offered him. Shortly after, he says he began to feel disoriented and believes the candy contained a drug or some other substance.

Marshawn Kneeland was driving 145+ MPH before crashing into another vehicle and fleeing on foot the night of his tragic death, a police report obtained by TMZ Sports indicates.

Kneeland was observed speeding by an officer from the Texas Department of Public Safety at 10:33 PM on November 5, prompting police to follow the 24-year-old.

The cop says he spotted MK driving recklessly, making "several unsafe lane changes" as he passed other motorists, hitting "speeds higher than 145 miles per hour."

Despite attempting to pull Kneeland over using lights and sirens, the officer says he didn't comply, and soon after, the Charger was no longer visible.

Minutes later, police say they found the vehicle, which had lost control and crashed into another vehicle, ultimately coming to a rest in a grass field on the Dallas Parkway, but Kneeland was nowhere to be found.

During a quick search of the black Charger, an empty holster was found ... but no gun was located.

Authorities say they set up a perimeter using K-9s and aircraft, all in an attempt to find Kneeland.

Adding to the urgency to find Marshawn, his girlfriend, Catalina, told cops the defensive lineman messaged her to say goodbye.

Despite the best efforts of police, several hours passed with no sign of Kneeland ... until around 1:30 AM when a heat signature was located inside a portable toilet.

Sadly, when officers reached the area, it was too late. Marshawn was found with a fatal, self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The report also says officials from Frisco PD and TX DPS met with representatives from the Dallas Cowboys at the scene.

Kneeland was drafted in the 2nd round out of Western Michigan in 2024, and was in the middle of his second season in Big D.

As you'd expect, news of Marshawn's death has rocked the Cowboys ... who dedicated Monday night's win to his honor.
