Harvey Weinstein Could Be Silenced and Booted From TWC Board Meeting

10/16/2017 3:53 PM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Harvey Weinstein could be cut off at the knees at Tuesday's Board of Directors meeting, because there are signs the Board might fire him ... which we're told would guarantee litigation.

Harvey, who is still a member of the Board despite being fired from The Weinstein Co., plans to participate in Tuesday's meeting via speakerphone -- he's currently in Arizona for rehab.

As we reported, Weinstein and his lawyer, Patty Glaser, plan to challenge his firing, claiming there was no basis to remove him from the company based on his Oct. 2015 employment contract.

A source from TWC tells TMZ, "Harvey's role in the meeting will be very limited." We know that's not Weinstein's intention -- he and Glaser plan to fight the firing tooth and nail.

Our Harvey Weinstein sources smell a rat, and believe the Board may start the meeting with a motion to kick him off the Board. If that happens, they can disconnect the speakerphone and kick Glaser out of the boardroom.

If that happens, there would be no debate over Weinstein's firing, but our sources say it would guarantee a lawsuit. Based on what we know from the contract, Weinstein might have to go to arbitration, but his side believes if the Board fights dirty they'd want this to end up in court.

He broke into show biz as a casting director in the late '80s before making it big on the Canadian comedy. "Trailer Park Boys" has been on air for 11 seasons.

Dunsworth was 71.

Mark Salling Cut His Wrists Before Plea Bargain

10/16/2017 12:50 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Mark Salling hurt himself in a suicide attempt a month and a half before striking a plea deal in his child porn case ... TMZ has learned.

We're told the "Glee" star was in the bedroom of his L.A. area home on August 22 when he cut both of his wrists. We're told Mark "freaked out" and screamed for his roommate, who discovered him bleeding and called 911.

Paramedics rushed to the home where they treated Mark, put him in an ambulance and took him to the hospital.

We're told Mark was taken for psychiatric evaluation, and days later, was taken to a rehab facility for psychological issues.

Mark's arms are scarred, which is apparently why he's been wearing long sleeves in the Los Angeles heat.

As we reported, Salling copped a plea in his child porn case earlier this month ... a case that was filed after cops found more than 50,000 images of child porn and child erotica on his personal computer.

The prosecution recommended 4 to 7 years in prison under the plea deal. The judge has yet to impose a sentence.

Mark's lawyer denies the story but will not say which details are incorrect, adding, "Mark is physically fine and Mark is spending his time atoning and working on himself."

10/16/2017 6:39 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Mark Cuban just got a ringing endorsement for President from old pal Daymond John ... who couldn't stop singing the guy praises.

We got Daymond outside Craig's Sunday night where the baller "Shark Tank" star ran down a list of reasons why he's hopping on the "Cuban for President" train. Remember ... Mark's seriously flirting with the idea, and if Trump can win, anything's possible.

Check it out ... Daymond says Mark's innate ability to relate and care about people makes him the perfect candidate. It's so eloquently said he's now got us thinking ... Daymond for Veep?!

'Black-ish' Star Deon Cole 'To Kill a Mockingbird' Ban Sorry Ass Attempt to Wipe Our History

10/16/2017 7:09 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

"Black-ish" star Deon Cole is FUMING after learning "To Kill a Mockingbird" was banned in the South and makes no bones about it -- it's a blatant attack on African-American history.

We got Deon at LAX where we told him about about the ban that went down in Biloxi, Mississippi where the school board there removed the Pulitzer Prize-winning classic from its reading list because the language -- littered with N-words as it was set in the 1930s -- made people uncomfortable.

But Deon's calling BS ... saying banning the book is a clear attempt to cleanse American history.

SNL Weekend Update Weinstein Belongs in Prison

10/15/2017 6:42 AM PDT

Harvey Weinstein was torn apart on SNL Saturday night ... and everything was fair game.

Colin Jost and Michael Che skewered the fallen mogul, from his appearance to his conduct.  The crowd applauded when Jost scoffed at the notion Weinstein was going to rehab, saying the proper facility had bars and barbed wire.

Their delivery is more than comedic ... you hear indignation and even anger in their voices.

As for Weinstein asking for a second chance ... if SNL is a bellwether, good luck with that.

'Jeopardy' Star Austin Rogers Hollywood Calls After Mad Winning Streak

10/15/2017 12:40 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Who is ... the smartest bartender in the world.

Damn right ... it's Austin Rogers, the "Jeopardy" sensation who's now got some serious thinking to do after his impressive 12-game winning streak came to an end Thursday ... because he's now fielding all sorts of tempting offers.

Austin, who won $411,000 during his run, is getting book offers, hosting gigs and that's just for starters.

Turns out he's been writing a book that could turn him into the next Lin-Manuel Miranda.

For now, he's keeping his bartender job. He has a good reason ... and then another which involves sexual favors.

Drake Bell Quit Throwing Stuff, Punk Kids ... I Will Stop This Concert!!!

10/15/2017 12:30 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Drake Bell got totally pissed off at a crowd of high schoolers who hurled balls at him -- then fired back at them with a tongue-lashing worthy of your old homeroom teacher.

The "Drake & Josh" star's band was rocking the Northwest School of the Arts in Charlotte when the crowd got restless, and cleaned out a nearby ball pit. Sources at the school tell us Drake opened with songs from his new album which nobody knew. Major party foul for the kids, who started firing the balls onstage.

The video's hysterical ... DB reached his boiling point while playing the "Drake & Josh" theme, and whipped a ball back at the crowd -- then stopped the show to shame them.

Future advice for Drake: play the hits, bro. Just the hits.

Young Kate From 'This Is Us' Whopping Raise For Season 2

10/15/2017 12:20 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

10-year-olds can barely get their hands on a crisp $20 bill, but Mackenzie Hancsicsak, who plays Young Kate on "This Is Us," is already hustling $4k pay raises.

We got ahold of Mackenzie's minors contract for the hit NBC show. It's her first TV role ever and it landed her a $8,210 payday per episode the first season.

Cut to season 2 ... Mackenzie got a huge bump to $12.5k an episode. That's a lot considering her raise for season 3 won't be as much ... it'll only go up about $500 to $13k an episode.

Still ... that's a lot of $20s.

Dick Ebersol, Susan St. James Unlike Weinstein ... Our Hook-Up Was Consensual

10/14/2017 7:24 AM PDT

Dick Ebersol, the legendary co-creator of "SNL" who ran both NBC and NBC Sports, says his story of hooking up with an actress is WAY DIFFERENT from Harvey Weinstein's, starting with the fact it was consensual.

We got Dick, a long-standing show biz titan, at LAX Friday with wife/actress Susan St. James. Dick met Susan when she guest hosted SNL in 1981 and sparks flew. They've now been married for 36 years.

They've got a thing or 2 to say about the industry and whether the Weinstein scandal will unearth other mogul misdeeds.

Check out Susan's old monologue below.

Ariel Winter Niece Gets in Family Biz Kid Ain't Playing at $12k per Episode!!!

10/14/2017 12:10 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Ariel Winter's niece ain't about the lemonade-stand life ... not when the 8-year-old wants to ball out like her super famous aunt.

Skylar Gray -- who idolizes Ariel -- landed her first big TV gig playing young Abby on the CBS sitcom, "Me, Myself & I," and already she's making more dough in one year than most recent college grads.

According to docs obtained by TMZ, Skylar's making $12,500 per episode and she's guaranteed at least 6 episodes. If she appears in all 13 episodes, Skylar stands to make up to $162,500.

Cross your fingers, kid ... because if the show's a hit, Skylar could make just over $200k that year ... as a 8-year-old.

Must be nice.

'Law & Order' Creator Dick Wolf Culture of Sexual Harassment Men are Pigs

10/13/2017 6:57 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Powerful men in Hollywood have been preying on women because that's how lots of men are built ... so says "Law & Order" titan Dick Wolf.

We got Dick leaving Craig's Thursday night and he's not a bit surprised at the Harvey Weinstein scandal ... he says things like this have been going on in Hollywood for a century.

As for how to stop it ... Dick sounds pessimistic -- he thinks it kind of a DNA thing.

We're thinking ... depending on how it plays out, this would be an interesting encore to the 'Law and Order' Menendez trial.

Colton Haynes Gives Huge Props to 'AHS' Producers ... For Editing Out Shooting Scene

10/13/2017 12:40 AM PDT
EXCLUSIVE

Colton Haynes couldn't have said it better -- it was great that 'American Horror Story' producers cut out a shooting scene in the wake of the Vegas massacre.

We got the 'AHS: Cult' star at LAX where we asked him about Tuesday's episode that was supposed to include heavy gun violence in the opening scene. The mass shooting scene, however, was not broadcasted on TV.

The gory scene was still available on FX's on-demand feature. Nonetheless, producers made the point for the mass audience ... and Colton says the decision was spot on.
