The crowd made its feelings known Wednesday when Whoopi brought up the Republican midterm convention in Texas and noted Cruz would be appearing on the show.

That's when the groans and boos started ... and Whoopi immediately cut them off with an "Ah-ah, no, no."

Rep. Ilhan Omar looked like a multimillionaire on paper ... turns out, not so much.

The nonpartisan Office of Congressional Conduct investigated Omar after a 2025 financial disclosure listed her and her husband Tim Mynett's assets between $6 million and $30 million ... far above her previous filings.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the OCC board voted 5-1 to recommend the House Ethics Committee dismiss allegations that Omar filed false or incomplete financial information.

The eldest son of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann had his attorneys file a motion to transfer the case to juvenile court for confidentiality proceedings ... TMZ has confirmed.

In other words, the 15-year-old wants legal proceedings to play out in juvenile court, away from the public eye. Page Six was first to report the filing.

A court date has been set for Friday ... so it will be interesting to see if the motion is granted.

Dolly Parton's sister Stella Parton says some of her relatives were caught off guard by her death ... because not everyone in the family knew she had cancer.

Stella told "CBS Mornings" in an interview with Gayle King airing Thursday ... "She didn’t want a lot of the family worried about it. Some of us knew, the ones that were closer, but not every relative." 

The 77-year-old made a good point ... the legendary singer just "did not want people sad."

A beloved Los Angeles-area coyote named Wendy survived being shot in the face ... but the damage was so horrific that vets ultimately had to put her down.

The 3-year-old coyote had become a familiar sight around Studio City, where locals noticed a huge growth on the side of her face and wildlife rescuers spent weeks trying to catch her.

Once they finally did, vets discovered the awful truth ... Wendy had been shot with a pellet gun, and two pellets were still lodged in her head.

Reddington sat down for an interview with "CBS Mornings" today, telling hosts ... "I just think that it's horrific what this man has been going through, and he's entitled to move on with his life. And the fact that he's moved on with his life and still is standing by Lindsay, as far as the legal issues tells the tale."

Reddington continued his defense ... "Listen to the 911 call ... The public has not heard it. The jury. I understand that the judge made that ruling, but I have said repeatedly the gut-wrenching horror that that is in his voice. No actor in California could ever imitate that."

An Ohio lawyer tried to gun down his ex-wife in a crowded restaurant ... but prosecutors say his plan fell apart because he forgot one pretty important step -- taking the safety off.

Matthew Exton walked into Sabira in Toledo in April 2025, allegedly sent a drink to his ex-wife's table and spit toward her family before leaving ... only to come back with a gun.

Prosecutors say Exton marched straight toward the table and tried to fire a bullet at his ex-wife, but the gun didn't go off because the safety was still on ... and the entire interaction was captured on video.
