The father of retired Dallas Cowboys star Leighton Vander Esch was arrested in Idaho over the weekend on several charges -- including felony attempted strangulation.

The Idaho County Sheriff's Office says it received a call regarding a domestic battery outside the city of Riggins around 12:16 AM on Dec. 1.

After cops arrived at the scene, 61-year-old Darwin Vander Esch was arrested for felony attempted strangulation and cited for misdemeanor domestic battery and misdemeanor intentional destruction of a telecommunication device.

Tiffany Haddish isn't making the same mistakes this Thanksgiving as last year ... telling fans at the Laugh Factory she's happy to be back -- but, she ain't getting arrested again.

Famed Hells Angels biker Chuck Zito was arrested, fingerprinted and posed for a mug shot in NYC -- and it was all because his vehicle had an illegal license plate.

In an Instagram post Monday, Zito angrily wrote that he was pulled in his vintage 1968 Chevelle SS by NYPD patrol cars while traveling on a highway in The Bronx as he headed to a store on Long Island.

Zito says a female officer informed him his Florida license plate was illegal, but Chuck claims he showed her his car registration and insurance card, which matched up to the plate.

Travel nightmare for a man flying out of Dallas ... he got shot with a Taser and arrested after being barred from boarding his flight ... and the intense police interaction is all on video.

The incident went down Wednesday night at Dallas Love Field airport, and the footage picks up with the thwarted traveler on his knees in the middle of the terminal, holding his hands up as three cops close in.

In the video, the guy hurls expletives at police ... telling them not to get near him and egging them on when one Dallas police officer pulls out his Taser.

Nelly can put his August arrest for possession of ecstasy behind him and focus on the jackpot he won the same night ... prosecutors will not be issuing the "Country Grammar" rapper any charges.

Chris King, spokesperson for St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, tells TMZ Hip Hop, "We don't believe the facts in this case warrant the issuing of charges."

Nelly’s attorney, Scott Rosenblum, gave us further clarity ... "Wesley Bell, the prosecuting attorney, and his office looked at all the circumstances and after a fair and impartial review of the evidence, declined to prosecute."

Jaxson Hayes is under the NBA's microscope once again -- the league just reopened its investigation into the Lakers player's 2021 arrest -- this after TMZ Sports released new video of a dispute with his then-girlfriend.

The footage shows the 7'0" center in a heated exchange with Sofia Jamora at her L.A. area home ... where the then-New Orleans Pelican verbally abused and put his hands on the model -- and, at one point, spit in her direction.

During the altercation, Jamora is heard saying, "I'm not going to let you hit me anymore. What the f*** do I look like, a punching bag?"

Ex-Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham was arrested in Florida earlier this month, TMZ Sports has learned.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol incident report we obtained ... the 35-year-old was pulled over on Oct. 10 in Tallahassee after allegedly going 78 MPH in a 55 -- while his two kids were in a 2023 KIA SUV with him.

One officer wrote in the report that after stopping the former NFL player ... he admitted to driving despite knowing he had a suspended license. The cop stated in the docs this is not the first time he's committed the offense.

Arizona cops were so befuddled by Cameron Payne's insistence on giving them a fake name during his arrest earlier this year ... they actually called the NBA player and his decisions "dumb" -- new police video, obtained by TMZ Sports, shows.

The arrest went down at Payne's Scottsdale residence at around 2:30 AM on June 14 ... after cops jetted over to speak with the 30-year-old New York Knicks guard following claims that he was in a verbal dispute with his girlfriend.

The Scottsdale Police Department body cam video shows once cops arrived on the scene ... both Payne and his GF were adamant nothing was wrong. Officers then stated all they would need was Payne's real name and date of birth -- and they'd go on their way.

Patrick Mahomes Sr. tried to use his son's name to get out of his DWI stop earlier this year ... with police video -- obtained by TMZ Sports -- showing the elder Mahomes tell cops multiple times that an arrest would likely cost the Chiefs star and his team Super Bowl LVIII.

It all happened back on Feb. 3 -- after authorities in Tyler, Texas pulled over Mahomes Sr. following allegations he was driving a white four-door Genesis that didn't have updated registration.

Initially, Mahomes Sr. -- wearing a hat with his son's branding on it as well as a "Kansas City Vs. Everybody" sweatshirt -- was cooperative and cordial with cops. The police video shows he handed over all of the information and paperwork that officers wanted -- and he even passed along an open can of Coors Light that he had in his center console cupholder.

T.I.'s son King Harris found himself locked up this week ... the 19-year-old was arrested in Georgia in a run-in with police.

According to reports, the rapper's teenager came onto a police officer's radar in Dunwoody, Georgia after he allegedly almost hit a cop cruiser while pulling out of a gas station Monday.

This prompted the officer to pull over King in the BMW he was driving ... and the officer allegedly smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.

Huge break in the case involving the alleged attempted murder of fitness influencer Miguel Angel Aguilar ... cops say they've made arrests.

The LAPD announced Wednesday three men have been arrested and charged with felonies in connection to Miguel's September shooting.

TMZ broke the story ... Miguel was allegedly followed to his Los Angeles home by four men, who approached him with guns when he got out of his car and shot him in the face during an attempted robbery.

Clint Eastwood's daughter Francesca is out on bail after getting busted for felony domestic violence for allegedly getting physical with her boyfriend.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Francesca was driving around Beverly Hills with her boyfriend Saturday night when they got into a verbal argument, which escalated when Francesca allegedly got physical.

Our sources say Francesca's BF called the cops and police advised him to drive to the Safety Zone at the Beverly Hills Police Department to meet with officers.

MMA star "Platinum" Mike Perry was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol in Florida over the weekend.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, Claremont cops says they were on routine patrol around 1 AM on Saturday ... when they observed a dark red Mercedes SUV driving up to "approximately" 20 miles above the speed limit.

Cops say they conducted a traffic stop for speeding, identified the driver as Perry and could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his breath. They also claim he appeared to have "red, glassy eyes" and his speech sounded slow, to which he replied the officer's "speech was fast."

"Love Island USA" star Hannah Smith was spewing racially charged remarks at a police officer during her recent arrest in Atlanta ... TMZ has learned.

A source close to the investigation tells TMZ ... Hannah not only threatened the female Cobb County officer, but also dragged race into her rant. We're told she yelled, "Bitch. I can't wait to kill you, you dumbass, ugly bitch 'cause you're f****** fat, and they love us skinny bitches 'cause you're f****** Black, and I hate Black bitches so I can't wait to kill you and your sister, you dumbass bitch."

We're told she also told the officer something to the effect of "You hate white bitches."

Lil Baby will NOT be prosecuted after being arrested in Sin City and charged with carrying a concealed firearm without a permit ... TMZ has learned.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, the felony charge the rapper was facing as a result of his August arrest has been dropped.

The docs make it look like the Clark County District Attorney is declining to press charges.

Jabrill Peppers will not be suiting up for the Patriots for the foreseeable future ... the NFL is placing the New England safety on the Commissioner's Exempt list in the wake of his recent arrest.

The league made the move official on Wednesday morning ... some four days after Peppers was jailed over allegations he roughed up his girlfriend during a dispute at a Braintree, Mass. residence.

According to court documents, a woman claimed Peppers got violent with her after they had gotten into an argument following intercourse ... putting "his hands on her neck and" pushing "her head against the wall."
